Number Six: The Battle of the Beedrill During the last five days, Tanner has managed to capture two Pokemon, along with his starter, Char the Charmander. After getting the Charmander from the main nurse at the Viridian City Pokemon Center, he caught a Pidgey called Wing, then a Rattata called Biter. He arrived at the Viridian Forest, searching for a Caterpie, only to discover that Caterpies were outlawed to capture. He battled a girl within the shadows of the Viridian Forest and Wing evolved into a Pidgeotto. He stumbled upon a hoard of Beedrill and tried battling them with his Pidgeotto, Wing. After failing, he is now facing them with his Rattata known as Biter. “You can do this, Biter. Give them a Bite attack!” I pointed at the deadly Pokemon. “Rata!” Biter answered, running to them. As Biter charged, so did the Beedrill, heavy-venom stingers first. Biter hoped he wouldn’t be destroyed. “Now!” I commanded. Biter jumped up and started shredding through all the Beedrill with his sharp bite. They then started to dash toward him and around him. “Come back for a sec.” I called him back. “Rattatata?” He asked. “I got an idea.” I answered. The Beedrill stopped, confused. I pulled two potions out of my backpack. “Wing, come out!” I called out my Pidgeotto. He immediately lay on the ground, damaged from his previous fight with the Beedrill. “I’ll help you out in a minute.” I patted his back. The Beedrill were still stopped; they seemed to not think of me as a threat. They were wrong. “Come out, Char!” I let my Charmander out. “Mander!” He cried when he saw the bug Pokemon. I let Biter and Wing drink the potions. Biter seemed more strong and relaxed while Wing looked the exact opposite of before. “Go get them!” I pointed to the Beedrill. My three Pokemon stood in front of me; they were ready. CONTINUED IN… … The Beedrill Symphony
