Description: 4 long years pass since Misty's disappearance, and Ash finds himself caught in a scientist's unimaginable plot to prove that humans can be more powerful than Pokemon. And so, what happens when the time comes to reveal the truth of the operation? Welcome to Doku-M, D.F.P., where the human heart is the only true reliance! =)

********************************************

"And the winner is, Ash Sotoshi Ketchum of Pallet!" The crowd erupted into a voluptuous cheer, showering the league stadium with the voice of victory. Ash, a boy of 14, posed in the spotlight as cameras shimmered across the blanket of people. Among them were Ash's long time friends, Misty and Brock, who were staring proudly down at him. Even through the thousands of people in his eyes' way, he could tell Misty was crying and Brock was swelling with joy. As if on cue one of the news-ladies shuffled about and handed him a microphone.
"What would you like to tell the world, now that you have won the hearts of several Pokemon fans and claimed the League Stadium as your home?" Ash grinned and lifted the microphone to his lips.
"I wanna say that being here is the best thing that's happened to me in my whole life, and that I wouldn't be here if it weren't for my fantastic friends and supporters, Misty Waterflower and Brock Slate. I want to thank you guys for everything and also to tell everyone that has the dream of becoming the greatest master to practice hard, 'cause it's going to take a lot of work to defeat me!"
The cheers from the crowd exploded again, and Ash motioned for his friends to come and celebrate with him. Brock and Misty both nodded and tried to sqweeze past all of the applauding people. The floors of the stands were covered in popcorn and candycorn, and splattered with pops and juices. Once the duo made it safely into the commons Misty stopped and patted Brock on the shoulder. He turned and smiled at his younger friend, "What is it?"
"You go on ahead...I'm going to get a couple of souvenirs and wash up. I'll be out in no-time."
Brock grinned. "You better. You look as if you're about to flood the whole stadium."
Misty giggled and turned to walk away.
"Brock!" Misty turned to see two men in black suits impatiently groping towards the Pewter Gym leader.
"Is everything set?"
"Yeah,"
Misty shrugged.'Probably just another surprise party for Ash,' With that thought out, she marched towards the restroom to freshen up.
Her hand had only just gripped the iron handle of the door, when someone clasped a firm arm around her waist and fastened a smooth hand over her mouth. She kicked backwards and tried to yell, but no one was near enough to hear or see her. She felt her strength draining and a soft voice assuring her everything would be okay. A voice assuring her she would be gone a long time, never to see anyone again--except for them.

Brock impatiently raced down to Ash and smiled as cameras clicked and flashed.
"Where's Mist?" Ash complained idly searching for his second companion. Brock looked back.
"She said she wanted to go freshen up...she was crying she was so happy you know,"
Ash blushed. "Well, she should be! I, Ash Ketchum, am the greatest Pokemon Master in the whole entire world!"
The same news-ladie as before aimed a 5 star camera straight at the duo, "Say Cheese!"
They both smiled and posed uniquely for the viewers at home.

***A WEEK LATER***

Ash let a solitary tear drop from his auborn eye.
"What do you mean she's gone without a trace!?That's impossible! This is the best Pokemon Police station in the country and you can't find anything to link her location!?"
"Ash it won't solve anything to yell..." A saddened Brock sat in the back of the room, one knee curled beneath his chin.
Officer Jenny sighed and her eyes dimmed. "I'm so sorry...but there's nothing left to do..."
Ash slammed his fist on the table. "This station has no hope and no future. Police don't just 'Give Up'. They keep trying until their hands are scuffed and their faces are pale from exhaustion." Ash knelt back nad allowed his emotions to fall freely, splattering pain onto the newly cleansed tile floor.
"I'm sorry..."Officer Jenny turned away from the boy who in turn grabbed his backpack and left.
Brock stood up. "I'm sure he didn't entirely mean it, Officer Jenny,
"
"But he's right,"She let a single tear fall. "You should go with him...In that state he's liable to get into trouble..."
Brock nodded sadly, and raced out the metal doors to retrieve his friend.
"Ash, where are you going?" He questioned, dissapointed in his friends poor behavior.
"Away," Is all he said.
"Am I coming?" Brock asked.
"If you want."
Pikachu still lay curled in Ash's backpack, in the same condition as Ash.

**TWO YEARS LATER**

"I think I'm going to stay here...It's where I'll fit in. I'm not trying to leave you alone Ash."
Ash grinned. His friend would surely make a great Pokemon Benificial Researcher.
"Yeah, yeah...excuses, excuses. Just be gone!" Ash and Brock both laughed and Brock left Ash's life, maybe for the better.

**ONE YEAR LATER**
(If you haven't been able to keep up, Ash is now 17 y/o)
Pikachu ran ahead of his tall companion and master, towards a rocky spring. The moon was hidden behind a patch of puffy clouds and the stars were lit like monumental structures.
Looking at all of the constellations and positions of them, Ash estimated he was somewhere near Pewter City.
Brock had been gone about a year, Misty about two or three, and he was left to traveling the backroads in search of a new adventure. The last time he had been home was around seven months back, and he couldn't say that he actually missed it. His mom and Porfessor Oak had proven (By accident) that they had a thing for each other and Gary had decided to leave for some new Pokemon. All in all, the world was becoming a lonely place.
"Pika!" Ash turned his head and narrowed his eyes. "What didja find?"
Pikachu rolled his eyes and impatiently motioned for Ash to come closer. A slight ruffle scratched at a bush behind him. He quickly turned and eyed the bush. The darkness of the night concealed whatever the bush was hiding, and Ash wasn't about to go find out what it was.
He continued walking towards Pikachu, who was standing right next to a gigantic rock. Waves rolled up and silently crashed against it's edge, and the water seemed to be coming in less and less.
"Midnight tide," Ash stated quietly, only to be alarmed by another sound from the bushes. This time Pikachu heard it also and gained footing right next to his master.
Ash was annoyed. "Whoever or whatever you are, just come out and make both our lives easier,"
The bush ruffled some more and a figure leapt from behind it. The female landed directly in front of him, a sharp knife in her right hand.
"What do you search for here?" The person demanded.
"And who are you?" The girl was in an attack position.
Ash swallowed. "Hee hee...Uh, I'm Ash Ketchum and this is my Pikachu, Pikachu...I'm not really searching for anything..."
The girl folded her knife and tucked it into her black skirt, which Ash noticed was quite short. The figure had pink childish eyes and two pigtails supporting two wildly overflowing turquoise hair.
"Duplica?" Ash studied the girl who raised an eyebrow.
"Who is that?" She stated roughly.
Ash swallowed again. "You?"
The girl smirked. "I have not heard that name before....at least I do not think I have. My name is Doku-D, project # 2"
"Doku-D? Project #2?"
"You heard correctly. I'm am searching for project #1. I have heard of a traveler who knows where she is...who is also the one who put her where she is. Do you know of he?"
Ash shook his head. "No, I don't think I do...What kind of project are you?"
**Beep Beep**
Doku-D Glanced down to her arm, which bared no watch or jewlery.
"What was that?"
"Pika?"
"My locator...don't you see it?"
Ash again shook his head. The girl moved forward which caused Pikachu to move back defensively.
She put her arm in front of Ash's eyes. Her arm looked real enough. Her skin looked soft and smooth, and a small light was shining through the bottom. It reminded him of the times he, Misty and Brock would tell campfire stories and put the flashlights under their hands so they could see their veins. But this girl didn't have veins. Whatever she had looked like wires and cords and metal hooks. Ash pushed it away.
"What are you?" He said seriously.
The girl's face painted into a weak smile.
"I am Doku-D, project #2."
"I didn't ask who you were, I asked what you were,"
The girl looked at him confused.
"That is what and who I am"
"Are you an...experiment or robot or something?"
She tilted her head. "I know of no such thing,"
Ash nodded and raised an eyebrow. "Don't robots have masters or something?"
She nodded. "I am not a robot….Therefore I follow no orde-"" She never finished her sentence before a shard of sharp metal sliced open her arm.
"Aya..." She took a step backwards as if in pain. Ash immediatly began to survey the area for a suspect.
Out of nowhere a tall lady jumped down.
"Doku-D! So I have found you at long last, Ha ha ha ha haha."
The intruder was wearing a skimpy dress which advertised her breasts more that the 'Got MIlk?' commercials.
"Doku-C..."
"And with the Pokemon Master as well! Boy, right place at the right time" She smiled viciously and yanked the shard from Doku-D's arm.
As soon as the shard was regained to it's owner, Doku-D's arm fell helpless at the side of her body. The skin she had was certainly real...It was cut and bruised the exact same way a human's was.
Wires and extended tubes lay torn and small electrical sparks shot out from the horrid gashes.
"And who are you!?" Ash asked.
Pikachu gained a fighting position beside him and backed him up. "Pika!"
The lady laughed. "Be amazed for I am project #3, Doku-C! Ha ha ha haha." Her laughing was annoying and her attitude was vital.
"Doku-D, I am here to stop you from betraying the Master. If that means disconnecting all of your circuits than so be it. I was ordered to retrieve the Pokemon Master...those shall be your orders too!"
"I will not follow in your plans...kill me if you must...But no more shall become-
"SILENCE! You morbid excuse for a Doku...It's not like if you find Doku-M you shall be powerful enough to defeat us. No one is...not even the Pokemon!"
"I shall try! You are the excuse. Tell your master that he will pay for what he's done!"
"You don't even know what he's done," Doku-C snickered.
"I know that this is not me, and that is all I must know, so be Gone!"

The blonde haired maniac jumped onto the rock Pikachu was earlier standing on.
"If you shall not give him to me, I shall kill you now!"
Doku-C prepared to battle and Doku-D gained a fighting pose.
She turned to Ash and told him sharply, "Go and hide yourself, stay as far from her as you can."
"Are you done flirting yet, you gutter machine?"
Doku-D looked up enraged at her as Ash and Pikachu backed up into the forest.
"Whenever you're ready!"
Doku-C made the first move. She leapt down and tried to slice the shard of glass into Doku-D's chest. Doku-D did a flip backward and hissed in pain as her weakened arm followed her wildly.
"What's the matter, cat got your arm?" Doku-C was randomly jabbing the sharp stone at Doku-D. Doku-D dropped herself and did a quick spin-kick which caused the other Doku to smash into the rock she had earlier been standing on.
Doku-C warily stood up and grimaced as she noticed her cheek wad gashed and a small wire lay tossing restlessly within. Doku-C charged towards the inflictor. The inflictor leapt above her and landed on her other side. With a quick movement of hand, Doku-D grabbed a small wire and tugged. The other Doku fell unconcious to the ground.
Ash and Pikachu raced back down.
"Great job. But you have a LOT of explaining to do, whatever you are,"
"Not...zzz...ma..f....tion...." Doku -D grabbed Ash and Pikachu's hands and leapt with them into the stream while behind them, the remains of Doku-C went up in flames.

Doku-D fell unconcious next to them in the water, and the duo worked hard dragging her to shore. It had been a good 10 minutes since they had fallen in, and they had floated pretty far downstream.
The ground was cool and cold, and had small specks of green plants and red flowers in bloom. Ash dragged the android on shore and looked around for someplace to hide out in case another one of these...things...attacked.
About 90 degrees to the right of him he spotted an old run-down church. It's doors were broken in and plant life had blanketed the place like a sheet. Pikachu shook his small body which sent tiny balls of water everywhere. Ash knelt down and picked up the Doku, and with Pikachu by his side, hiked up to the ruin.

The inside was much less beautiful than the outside. Broken down altars, tables, and chairs lay in piles of rubble at every corner. The center was a sheet of untouched dust, covering small dolls and children's toys. The room itself was like a blackened time warp, portraying some kind of Catholic base for priests.
Ash gazed at the historical building as if he had never seen a church before. His mother had, when he was younger, taken him to church but he remembered few exquisite things about it. The thing he remembered most was all of the sleep he obtained. Of course he was young, so that wasn't unusual.
Pikachu tugged on the base of his baggy kackys and pointed to a hallway to the right of him. It was dark and luminous, and seemed un-welcoming to people who desired refuge. The small mouse pokemon's ears were perked and soon Ash heard too. A light buzzing noise was advancing from that room. It was as if someone were typing and analyzing something on a computer.
Ash followed his Pokemon through a narrow corridor to the small stay. There was a green flashing light emanating from the room and the buzzes and clicks became louder and louder.
The wieght Doku-D was bestowing apon him was seemingly enlarging so Ash entered quickly and set her down. When he looked up, his mouth opened in awe at the site before him.

A lifesize cacoon-like capsule stood upright before him. The side he was facing had a thick glass coating and the bright green flashes were emanating from the inside of the capsule. The green looked like a liquid; it had bubbles rising from the bottom. The liquid was cradling something inside...cradling some sort of body. Ash stepped back and surveyed the rest of the machine. The capsule had several wires and plugs extending out and conecting to a computer behind it. A gigantic tube held the capsule upright, and that connected to the computer as well. The computer itself was at least 5 or 6 times as large as any regular computer and had a star shaped crack on it's screen that extended over at least one third the right side. Pikachu had become fascinated as well and was examining tha body inside. Ash moved closer to get a better peek.
The figure was strapped back at the neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and feet. Because there was nothing there to support the head, it lay slouched. The body was wearing a black skin-tight plastic suit and had bright redish blonde hair. Two 5" straps were tightly buckled behind the girls shoulders and extended down past the chest only to intersect and the thighs and buckle again there.
Ash heard a slight shuffle behind him.He turned around to see his newest companion gazing up at the mechanical masterpiece.
"It's Doku-M..."Ash helped the android stand and she silently stepped towards the encased body.
"Another one?" Ash shook his head. "Is she alive?"
Doku-D nodded. "She has to be... what I don't understand is why she wasn't released yet,"
Ash and the Doku both stepped forward.
"Released?"
The turquoise-haired girl nodded and gazed inward, then to Ash.
"All of us were supposed to be released at the same time, though I don't know why. Her master must've gotten cold feet. Doku-M here is a late bloomer,"
Ash put a hand on the tainted glass coating.
"Don't-"
Doku-D was cut off by the container exploding. Shards of thick heavy glass went flying and all of the liquid inside the capsule flooded out onto the dust stained carpet.
Pikachu had leapt outside the door frame before the glass began to shower everywhere and now cautiously peered in at his master who had a body sprawled on top of him.
"-do that," Doku-D finished, a little late on the occasion.

"Hee, hee...oops." He sat up and Doku-D removed the body from his lap. She moved the girl to a location without as many glass pieces and laid her flat on the carpeted ground.
The computer made a beeping sound and a computer generated voice came on.

(AUTHOR NOTE: Any 3 dots ( ... ) right now means its static and un-understandable)

'D o w n l o a d i n g r e c o r d i n g. P r o c e s s c o m p l e t e. P l e a s e p r e s s c o n t r o l k e y. D o w n l o a d i n g r e c o r d i n g -"
The voice continued to repeat itself. Doku looked from The strawberry blonde haired girl to him. "Ash, press the control button."
Ash stood up and did as the robot instructed. A small staticed screen lit up on the computer and the shape of a human male took form
The screen was blurry so the small man had no recognizable features.
Almost at one, the man began to talk.

" As the partial creator of Project Doku, I welcome the person who has awoken Doku-M. She is the youngest by days of the 5 Dokus made, and has the most...fu..t... (AUTHOR NOTE: now 3 dots ( ... ) are back to normal!)

The computer screen was black in a flick-of a -wrist and Doku-D looked back down at the other android who was beginning to regain conciousness. Ash and Pikachu stared in disbelief. Than he looked at Doku-D.
"So you're all just machines to prove that humans can be more powerful that Pokemon?"

He was discusted with the idea. Doku-D saw the pertinant look on his face and started to explain what she knew.
"I think it started out that way...then the masters-"
"The scientists you mean?"
"Aw huh, well, the masters got mad and split up. Now they're trying to figure out which of us is the strongest over the others..." And I take it you two," He motioned to her and the body next to her, "Are the good guys?"
Doku-D frowned. "Doku's C -well, she's gone- Doku's S and K are being used to capture Pokemon and stuff like that..."
"Then what does this have to do with me!? Doku-C or whatever was after ME and I want to know why."
"I don't know what they wanted you for before hand, but now they want you because you own two Doku."
Ash raised an eyebrow. "Huh?"
The android pointed at herself and looked down at the one below her.
"I don't OWN either of you!"
"Maybe not exactly me, but you do own Doku-M here. You woke her. You're her master...And because I'm sticking with her, that means I'm following you too."
"Pika pi!!!!"
Doku-D looked at the small Pokemon whom was utterly disgruntled.
"Don't get jealous...it's not like we're taking your place or anything."
Pikachu turned his head and strutted away.
Ash stood up and shook the dust from his shirt.
"Okay then, what did it mean about, 'a sample of my DNA has been sent to the scientists participating,
"?

Doku-D looked grim. She fingered her now swollen arm and tried to divert herself from his attention.
"Well?" He asked again, tapping his foot impatiently on the ground.
She looked up."That's how they are going to, or already have, find out about the fact it was YOU who released her. Because YOU have a certain control over her, she will obey you. She may know more about this than I do...I don't know. All I know is that the masters probably want you dead."
"And why?"
"Because just like the others, you know too much." The sleeping girl next to her squirmed and was rubbed her eyes.
"Where am I?" She peered at the two strangers and the Pikachu who had a strange sparkle in it's eyes.
Pikachu raced over and pointed at her. "Pika pi, Pikachu!!!!"
Ash looked at the girl. "M...Misty?" He felt his heart leap and crawl to the tip of his throat.
She turned her head sideways and raised an eyebrow. "I am Doku-M. I've not hear of a Doku-Misty..."
Ash sat down and remained staring intently at her.
"Are you the one that woke me?" She questioned, green ruffled eyes peering precausiously.
Ash nodded and watched both of them intently.
Doku-D stared back. "What, Ash?"
Ash continued to stare. "You both are like exact replicas of my old friends..."
The two androids looked at each other and Doku-M grinned. "I look like an old friend!"
She smiled and blushed.
"You don't entirely act like them though.... Do you two at all recognize the names Brock, Misty, Duplica, Gary, Team Rocket-?"
The two girls shook their heads. Suddenly Doku-M spoke. "I recognize Brock I think."
Ash and Doku-D looked at her. "You do? From where?"
She looked down. "Doku-D...you don't remember the master's names?"
Doku-D's face lit up. "Mmmmm. I remember something like that. His name was Vrok though."
"No, it was Brock!"
"Vrok!"
"Brock!"
"Haven't you ever learned to mind your elders! It was Vrok!"
"Brock, Brock, Brock!"
"Someone call?" A lean young man stood in the doorway. Ash smiled. "How'd you find us in here? It's been a long time," Ash looked up at his old friend.

"And I'm afraid it will be the last, Ash" Ash eyed the boy who looked exactly like Brock. An older one of course, but it was Brock.

"He's no friend of ours," Doku-M stood up and eyed the boy. "Toldja his name was Brock,"
Doku-D stood up defensively in front of Ash. "Whatever,"
Brock grinned maliciously. "Actually my name was Professor Vrok...surprising it should have been deleted."
Ash stood up. "What the hell is wrong with you? You're not the Brock I knew!"
Brock glanced at him. "You were too focused on Misty and your dream that you didn't realize anything about me that would have been suspicious. Now Project 1 and 2, prepare to go back to the laboratory! And Ash, you prepare to die,"
Doku-M got in front of Ash. "Touch my master and I'll never forgive you!"
"My dear Doku-M, that's what the labs are for. You learn to forgive and forget--everything"
"I'm not going back so YOU prepare to die!" Doku-M walked forward and began to excersize her cords for her first real battle.
"Doku-M, be careful!"
"I know what to do. Humans all have the same weak spot. I know what that is."
Brock stepped back and pulled out a giant electrical spear.
"Doku-M, when I take you back you will learn not to disobey any of your creators, especially me!"
"You're not my creator...You're not any kind of creator. You 're a killer!"
Brock lifted his spear. "Enough talk little girl. Time for play,"
She lifted her fists and grinded her bare feet into the carpet beneath her.
Brock rushed forward and aimed his spear straight for her battery box which was located on her left arm. She ducked to the side and back-kicked him into the wall.
He turned and came at her from behind; spear focused on any weak point. She tried to avaid his aim but the spear lightly cut her arm. "Ouch," She backhanded him and he fell beneath her. In a foolish attempt to regain control he tried to send his spear right into her stomach. As the spear came charging upward she gripped it and snapped it in half. Tossing the spears remains to the side she glared down at the boy beneath her.
"Now, you die,"

She lifted her fist to end it all in one fatal punch.
"Doku-M, No!" Ash knelt forward and yelled.
A huge vision of blackened scenes collided in her mind. Brock was in them. She fell backwards and clasped her aching forehead. Brock stood up and laughed. "Perhaps it's for the better," he muttered.
"I'll be back...I find it terribly funny she actually obeys...She HAS been locked in that capsule for much longer than you all..."
Doku-D stood up. "Leave, now. Before I kill you. I have no commands to obey."
Brock stepped back and smiled. "We shall see. Goodbye for now," With that, Brock disappeared into the dawn of a new day.
Doku-D was patting Doku-M's shoulder. "What's wrong with you!? We can't help if you don't tell us."
The other Doku just looked down.
Doku-D sneered and stood up. "We don't have time to mess around with all of your malfunctions! We have a battle to win!"
"That wasn't nice, Doku-D" Ash commented.
Doku-M stood up. "I saw three pretty girls."
The other Doku glared at her.
"You didn't kill the enemy because you saw three girls!? Oiy, we have a long way to go."
"Can I ask a question?" Ash asked.
The two androids nodded.
"A couple actually. One: How were you guys made? Like, what from? And, if you guys are machines, how do you have emotions?"
Doku-M answered. "We were made from something living and machines. And we have emotion cause we were made from something living."
Ash nodded and searched the room. "Pikachu!?"
"Yeah, I agree. After we get some sleep, we're all going to Professor Oak's lab."
The two machines nodded and looked ahead blatantly. Ash led the way to a small hotel where Doku-M fixed Doku-D's arm and everyone got some well-deserved sleep.

**PLANE STATION**

"Flight 020, now boarding! Flight 2020, now boarding!"
Ash rushed the two girls onto the plane and into their seats. They sat next to each other and Ash was seated in front of them.
Doku-D looked down at the redhead who, for the moment looked strikingly like someone she felt she had met before. "Categorized thoughts maybe, but no memories. There's nothing for us to remember."
"I remember little things...from where I don't know."
"Like what?" The older Doku looked intrigued.
"A bike...and a talent show..."
Doku-D smiled. "I've seen things like those too. But they're not memories...we're machines."
Ash turned his head to the window where the ground was just beginning to fade away.
"What if they are memories though..."Ash muttered and drifted off into the movie being played above his head.

The plane ride was a bit bumpy but turned out worth it in the end. Pallet was looking as bright as ever, trees and flowers blossoming their monthly treasures, houses and farms getting a summer cleaning. Everything was just as peaceful as Ash had remembered--except for two arguing robots behind him.
"Pro. Oak is the greatest!"

"Is not!"
"Is too!"
"Is not!!"
"Is too!"
Ash turned around impatiently. "Will both of you be quiet!"
The both became silent-for a moment.
"See now you made him made!" Doku-D whispered.
"No you did!" The other whispered back.
"No..."
Ash shrugged and Pikachu sighed as they all raced up the stairs to Pro. Oaks lab.
The inside was clean and tidy and had a couple pieces of torn paper on the ground. Ash and the two girls avoided them. "Pro. Oak!?"
"In here!" Ash followed the voice and the androids followed Ash.
Pro. Oak turned around. "Hi Ash! It's been quite a while since I've last seen you. Mmmm...Who are your friends?"
Ash put a hand on his hip and sighed. "Okay, well their kind of the reason I'm here..."
"This one looks an awful lot like Misty..."Professor Oak was staring intently at the young girl.
"Well, I think she is. But she's kind of a robot..."
Pro. Oak raised an eyebrow. "Ash, you have some explaining to do,"
He nodded and followed Pro. Oak into his living room.

"So Brock and other scientists got together to create a group of 5 humans with the strength to diminish the Pokemon population?"
Yes" Ash nodded, "But to do so, the had to use robots..."
"How on Earth do you make a robot from scrap that has emotions and responsibility?"
Ash shook his head. "Doku-M told me they were built by machines but had to have something living to make them."
Professor Oak nodded and the two girls listened intently.
"I think that these two girls...are real...they're just, I don't know, cloned? They don't have any of the same characteristics that I've seen...Of course I didn't know Duplica that well but this girl's got nothing on Misty."
Professor Oak lifted a cup of tea to his lips and drank. After he set the small cup down he looked at Ash.
"If what you are saying is true, scientist's have just invented something that will destroy all Pokemon life,"
Ash nodded. "These are only two of the 5 though. One of the 5 was killed and the other two are wherever 'home' is..."
Ash you spoke of them having no similarities but possibly being clones...Have either of them had anything close to a memory?"
Ash looked at Doku-M. "I think she has,"
Doku-M looked at the professor who was now looking at her.
"Can you tell me anything you might remember, if it were remembering?"
She nodded and looked at Doku-D, who nodded.
"A bike, a contest and three really pretty girls..."
Professor Oak looked at Ash.
"Do any of thee match up?"
He smiled and nodded. "Bike from the one I owed her, three pretty girls being her sisters and the contest being....the Pokemon league?"
Pro. Oak nodded. "We need to find out who's responsible. I don't know if they're the real thing or not but...we need to find out who did this,"

Pro. Oak took the two girls and went to his lab to test any of his theories.

Ash, meanwhile, went for a walk.

The gardens near the pokemon were gorgeous and the sun was feeding them the energy they needed. Thought this beautiful sight loomed before him he couldn't stop thinking about her. Misty.
Ash had blamed himself for her disappearance the whole time and he never really took the time that it might've been Brock. Brock was an idiot, now that Ash knew what he had done...but what exactly did he do? What if Doku-M WAS the real Misty? What if she was trapped like this for four years and Brock just knelt back and watched her turn into the superhuman she was? Ash didn't want to hurt Brock...he was his friend. No. He wasn't. If he were his friend he would have helped save Misty...not enslave her in some machines mind. But what if it weren't Misty? What if all of the robots were clones, so they could roam the Earth un-noticed? It was a drastic difference. It pained him to see the face of his best friend and not know what she was. It hurt to see something so different from the girl he once knew and loved. It was a hard decision, and a terrible plot.
