ASH:17
MISTY:16 1/2
GARY:18

Ash knelt down to examine the other trainers injured Pokemon. The Radicate had a gash in its side, barely missing it's internal arteries. It also was unconcious.
The trainer paced the grounds. He was obviously saddened by the sight of it, but enlightened by the fact the World's Pokemon Master was there to assist it.
Ash sighed. " Your Pokemon is really hurt...What happened to it?"
The trainer paused, and he seemed to flinch at the memories.
"It's kind of a long story... I was on my way to Pallet...To meet Profesor Oak and to see the Ultimate Challenge Pokemon Battle. I'm not sure you'll believe me if I tell you the truth in what happened,"
Ash raised an eyebrow. "As long as you didn't injure your Pokemon, I'll believe as much as I can."
Ash knelt his head down again and began to turnicate the escaping blood.
"It was the wierdest thing. It happened right before you and your girlfriend got here. I was reading about you and her--your travels and all you went through to become what you are now-- and this voice started talking to me...and my pokemon. Something about someone wanting to be freed...and out of nowhere this gust of wind tore through. When I opened my eyes, Raddy was like this," He pointed at the fleshy pokemon.
The boy was much younger than Ash, only about 10 or 11. He was scared...obviously.
Ash blinked. " So a gust of wind trampled your Pokemon?"
The boy shrugged and saddened. "I told you you wouldn't believe me...But I swear, I would never purpossly hurt my pokemon,"

"Ash!" Ash turned his head. Misty and the Pallet Town Nurse Joy were driving towards them.
Ash stood up. "I'm sorry, I can't do anything else..the rest is up to Nurse Joy"
The boy smiled. "Thanks for trying to believe me...it really was great to meet you...will he be Okay?"
Ash smiled meakly. " That's a question you'll have to ask the Nurse. Listen to me though...I believe that you didn't hurt your Pokemon, but that story was...a bit quirky. Just be careful what you say about it."
The boy thankfully nodded at the advice. A green jeep pulled up next to the duo and two figures leapt out.
Nurse Joy immediatly raced to the Radicate, who was lacking in oxygen. The younger boy had started to cry a little, and Nurse Joy tried to keep the hope in him.
Misty walked over to Ash. "What happened?" She pulled a loose strand of wavy red hair behind her ear. Ash's expression grimmed.
"He says that he was reading about our journey, when a gust of wind came. When he opened his eyes... vuala," Ash looked at the pitied pokemon.
Misty raised a hand to her mouth. "That's a little far-fetched...don't you think?"
He smiled. " He's not the kind of kid to do stuff like that. And if he did, what with? The only other Pokemon he has is a diglit, and there is nothing that sharp out here..."
Misty sighed. " Nothing we can do?"
Ash shook his head.
By now Nurse Joy had hauled the Pokemon into a bed in the back, the young boy gently stroking it's now light purple fur. The nurse looked impatiently at them. "We have to go now! Are you coming or not?"
They both smiled weakly and raced over.
When everyone was packed into the car, it sped off in a blinding speed towards the Pokemon center.

Ash eyed the blue doors that concealed the Radicates bruised body. Misty was sitting opposite of him, nervously reading a new issue of Poke- Fashion.
The young red-head boy was perched next to Ash. Ash glanced at him. He looked so sad and worried, the exact way he'd looked when he'd first transported his Pikachu on Misty's bike to a Center. The boy suddenly caught his gaze.
"I've decided I'm not going to be scared," he declared.
Ash nodded, "It's best to be that way."
The boy smiled-a little. " Why aren't you sitting with your girlfriend?"
Ash had almost forgotten him saying that earlier.
"She's not my girlfriend. We're just... best friends. Something like that"
The boy raised an eyebrow. " Uh huh, whatever"
Ash looked down at him.
"Gotcha!" The boy smiled, but it soon faded as Nurse Joy came flying through the doors.
Inside her hands was his Radicate--not any bruises or cuts.
Misty ran over and both Ash and the boy stood up.
"I don't understand..." The nurse was muttering.
Ash and Misty both stared at it. It was as good as new- not a scratch. "What happened? Did you guys get some new herbs or what?"
The boy was cuddling the pokemon.
"No...When I took it in it just,well, healed. I didn't do anything,"
"Wierd" Ash and Misty's voices syncranted.
"6 o clock, office closing hour, 5 minutes,"
A small Chancey clock chimed from its plastered position on the wall.
"Hey Mist, we gotta go," Misty nodded.
The Nurse smiled. "Thanks for all of your help today... I'm going to go talk to the boy... Stay safe."
They waved and exited.
"That was weird." Ash stated.

A warm night breeze wavered through the air. The duo came to an intersection.
"Isn't this night beautiful!?" Misty hugged her shoulders and spun around.
Ash shook his head, "Gorgeous,"
But we have to cross the street,"
Misty frowned. " You are no fun, Ash Ketchum,"
"Wanna bet?"
"Bet? Dare."
"You asked for it!"
The blinking picture on the streetlight shifted to the walk signal, and Ash grabbed Misty's hand; pulling her across the street.
She was startled by his sudden action, but gripped his hand tightly.
On the other side of the street, he pulled her into an allyway and raced all the way back until they came to a park.
Misty was trying hard enough just to keep up with him; She didn't have time to notice it was Fall. He stopped and spun her around.
A huge gust of wind swept by, sending yellow, orange and brown leaves spiraling into the evening air. The wove there way in patterns around them, some already fallen ones picking themselves up from the ground and dancing delicatly with the wind.
Misty's eyes sparkled with excitement. "wow..."
She was lost in a world of leaves.
Ash smiled too. He remembered his mom bringing him to this site when he was younger, but now, it seemed more mature. More beautiful than fun.
He looked down at Misty who seemed bedazzled by the scene. Her soft strawberry hair waving in the breeze and her smile. She looked up.
"Well, so that was pretty and fun, but I won't give you any credit, You already know your way around,"
"Ahh, but you never said that when you dared me,"
She stuck her tongue out at him.
"Let's go to your house,"
Ash grinned. "We still have to plan what we're going to do here you know, now that our Pokemon journey is over,"
"Who said that?"
Misty almost looked alarmed. " I still haven't become the worlds greatest water pokemon trainer,"
He smiled sarcastically. "Good luck,"
"And just what is that supposed to mean!?"
"Nothing,"
"Ash Ketchum! I'm going to get you for that! You ruined an almost perfect moment!!!"
Ash took off at a jog, Misty right behind him.

'Perfect...plans for tomorrow, oppurtunities for me, Oppurtunities for Misty. Oppurtunities foir death~' With that, Gary smiled, and unleashed the power he controlled.
