If He Ever Forgets Part 4
********Deadly Decisions********************

Ash looked towards the girls' section of the sauna from the roundevouz point he and Misty had decided on. She was no where in sight and no sounds came from behind the solid bamboo doors that hid her from him. He had a very bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.
With a bit of a pause, he paced forward towards the doors. Still, no noise. Not even a splash.
"Mist'?" He called gently, expecting a reply. When he heard none, he pushed open the door and slid inside.
The sauna was exactly like his: A huge pool of steaming water surrounded by concrete stepping stones. Behind them were bushes and flower patches, hidden in the solitude of the night. He slowly stepped forward only to notice a rock concealing something. His heart pounded as he raced towards it, hoping it wasn't his best friend.
He stopped directly in front of the plummetable rock and took a deep breath. Slowly peering over, the small, delicate, bikini-clad body of his friend came into view. He immediatly raced around to her, only to realize she was under the water. Air bubbles didn't rise from her mouth and from his point of wiew above, she looked pale. His heart began to pound wildly and on instinct he leapt in to retrieve her.
He quickly pulled her body onto the concrete and examined her. She wasn't breathing...
"Help!" Ash yelled, hoping he would be able to interlude the sauna-keeper's call.
"Help!"
He felt like crying because there was nothing he could do... No one was coming for his calls...
Ash did the only thing that registered in his mind. Taking the cold body and lying it flat on the ground, he prepared for the only thing he thought could do to save his redhead companion...CPR.

Misty screamed as she felt herself being pinned to the ground. A head slightly above her own sent wisps of warm icy breath onto her ear.
"Shhhhhh..." The figure rubbed a gentle thumb on the arm he was holding down.
"We don't want to wake anyone,"
Misty slumped and became quiet. Through the darkness, she could tell that the person above her had smiled sadisticly.
"W...who are you?" she muttered. Her capture looked exactly like Gary...He had dissapeared years ago though; Professor Oak had called to tell them while they were back visiting Cerulean City. The person shifted his wieght so she couldn't get up.
"I think you and I both know that," He answered.
Misty swallowed and tryed to see him above her. She couldn't make out all of the distinctive features but the image of him still lingered in her mind.
"G...gary?"
The man laughed and knelt his head closer to her cheeks and whispered, "Good guess. Misty."
She shivered over the way he said her name. Somehow, this Gary had changed.
"What do you want with me?"
He lowered his head so his lips were touching hers.
In a soft obsessive voice he answered,"Everything"
Misty tried to evade him but his body was heavy and positioned so she couldn't move very far. His lips were already on hers, tongue pressing into her virgin mouth.
She screamed and tried to move. Gary noticed and leveled himself back up. He smiled and licked his lips.
"Misty...as sweet as a flower. Soon to be mine..."
Misty squirmed beneath him until he finally stood up, still grasping her hands.
"Let me go!" She pulled but Gary was much stronger and held a tight grip.
He smiled and looked down at her terrified face. "I want you, and what I want, I get. And when you wake up, prepare to become the main character in my world with only me..."
Confused, Misty replied, "Ash will stop you!"
Gary sneered and pulled her closer to him.
"If Ash or anyone interferes, they'll die. I might kill them anyway...people with weak hearts make weak decisions."
Misty's eyes opened in shock. He was talking about her. Just as he lowered his head to hers again she screamed and her eyes opened.

Ash looked down at the girl beneath him. His lips were sending air into her slackened lungs and somehow her color had changed. He looked down at her eyes. The softly closed eyes flickered and opened. Ash's heart leapt while Misty's beat rapidly. Ash lifted her into his arms and hugged her tightly. Mist could only look on confused and cold. She shivered and Ash wrapped her towel around her nearly bare body.
He still clung to her and held her tightly murmuring, "I'm so glad....so glad..."
She smiled and surrendered herself to his loving grasp. She was weak-she felt weak.
"Ash...I had a terrible dream..." After her words were spoken his arms became more comforting and he whispered as if privately, "Everything will be okay..."
The back of her mind felt blurry and she felt darkness climbing to her eyes. She smiled and fell faint, straight into Ash's arms.
He held her there tightly as the door lady raced up to him.
"You're not supposed to be in he-Huh? What happened!?"
Ash looked up to her. "Cam you call for an ambulance, please?"
The lady nodded willingly and ran back.
A small drop of water fell from Misty's hair and rolled off, unnoticed, into a collection of bushes behind the two people.
Without knowing it, Ash had played right into his rival's hands.
