Chapter 2

Starting BOTH Journeys

The next morning, Kisara was waiting for Blake in his living room. “Are you ready to go?" She asked excitedly. He could tell she was on the verge of jumping up and down.

"Um, Kisara, I just woke up. Give me ten minutes Okay?"

“Ok, sleepyhead."

It only took him.............. An hour to get ready. Under her breath, Kisara whispered “who ever said that girls were high maintenance obviously didn't take a look at guys."

"So are you ready Kisara?"

“Have been."

"Well then let’s go!"

They walked in silence for awhile until Kisara couldn't stand it. “So what is your plan as a Pokemon trainer? Do you plan to go to the Pokemon League Tournament? Well I want to!"

Blake looked up, amazed that she could ask so many questions, and not wait for a respond. “I want to be the best. And The Pokemon League Tournament is where to prove it. So, how long have you wanted to be a Pokemon trainer?"

A quick wave of sadness washed over her, but she tried to hide it. “Oh well, my father always wanted to be one, but he never had the chance so before he died he asked me to try my best."

“Oh, I'm so sorry." Blake looked at his feet, feeling a little embarrassed that he brought it up.

“It’s okay, because I will fulfill his wish!" She was her old energetic self again.

How can anyone be so down and get so happy so fast? Blake was once again surprised by Kisara. “What kind of Pokemon do you have?"

“Oh, I have a Vulpix. She's the best. Maybe after we train a little we can have a little competition!" Kisara was looking forward to this. She knew that they would fight eventually, and that was one of the few battles, they would have trouble with.

They walked over to a near stream to take a rest. Kisara ran over to the stream and jumped in.

“Are you insane?” Blake yelled.

“ No! The waters fine! But you don’t HAVE to get in you know. I mean if you’re scared I understand.

Blake was not about to let it fly so he jumped in the lake to. “Scared my ass.”

“Now that’s the Blake I know and lo…!” Kisara went under water and swam over to the dock. “We better get going.”

She watched as he got out. Then they started to walk again leaving Blake to wonder if she would have said it, and if she meant it. One thing was for sure, the person who said you can’t figure out women……………….was right.
