Thanks to the lovely support of one of my fans ( I should change that to my one fan ^_^) The ties that Bond are back up. I have the Elixir of Inspiration at hand and am ready to write...

Disclaimer: None of the character appearing in this story belong to me. I don't own pokemon.

With every step, Jesse shook. But she couldn't stop, she wouldn't. There was something pushing her forward and pulling her ahead. It was James. For as long as she could remember, James was a partner, nothing else. In fact he annoyed her, he annoyed her so much, if they were together she would have pushed him off of the cliff! But deep down inside of her was her true feelings. Feelings of love for James.

"Come on Meowth," she said shivering, "we gotta hurry."

Meowth wasn't doing to well either. He was to cold to speak so he just shook his head. His golden charm was iced over and his whiskers were covered in snow.

The two continued to walk, leaving footprints in the snow, they continued to move on...

Back with James...

James was sitting atop a rock. He used his jacket to brush off the snow and now regretted it. This was the coldest he had ever been. He didn't want to move. He just wanted to sit there and die.

"If...only," he said outloud, "I still had my growlithe, I may be warm." he said. His growlithe sparked a memory indide of him. Of when he was six and his parents had a huge Christmas party. How he and his cousins had pokemon battles outside. It was snowing alittle. And there was a warm fire waiting for them when they got finished. And then, he saw it, the first day he met Jesse. And a flame ignited inside of him.

James bolted up, his eyes flaming with rage, he sprinted full force in the direction he saw Jesse fall.

It was cold. Very cold. But he pushed forward. Nothing would stop him from going. He was oblivious to almost everything. Only the snow, flying into his face, seemed to be noticeble by him. Memories of the times he spent with Jesse flashed in his head. Memories of how they trained together, how they succedded together. How Jesse gave James his first kiss. How Jame's tripped on a rock and smushed Jesse's Valentine's day present with his face. The good times, they were flashing before his face. And he woulnd't let them go, he couldn't.

He started to run in an awkward stupor. He wasn't sure how it happened, but it did. He tripped. Falling, hard, onto an icy shell that covered the fresh snow. He landed hard. Directly above his head, an icicle fell.

The ties were severed...

Talk about a cliffhanger huh? So what happened to James? Sit back and find out in part four!
