I do not own pokemon, the characters appearing in this fic made by me, belong to me.

Please read and review!

Crisie's outfit also changed. She was know wearing a khaki dress, with back-less pink shoes, and a sleeveless purple shirt that read the numbers 4326. She looked Justin straight in the eyes. Deep inside she looked sad becasue she knew that she missed something big. Call it a female intuition, or perhaps it was an aura that Justin was giving off that did it.

"Yea, yea you did. I just had a battle with Emerald, here let me tell you about it," said Justin as he picked up the bag she was carrying in her left arm and began to walk forward.

He explained everything. The battle, the tactics, the pokemon, and Emerald. Crisie was hooked for the entire story. So much she didn't talk and continued to stare at Justin. They both walked off to the left side of the road, once or twice they dared to enter two stores. However neither one decided they needed anything. The day didn't seem to merit such indoor activity anyway. It was beautiful out. The sun was shining beautifully in the east. A cold air was blowing; it seemed to contradict the what was to be hot weather and average everything out. Many people walked the streets chatting merrily. Most were holding a paper colored bag. Blackthorn was clearly a shopping city.

neither one talked, that was until,

"And you just let her walk off! Miserable like that!" yelled Crisie arching over to get in Justin's view. He waved her away and cocked his head back,

"Look I feel crumby about it, but what could I do! I was being fenced in by all of those onlookers."

"SO! You ask em' nicely to move. Really Justin."

"Yeah well, sorry." he replied.

Time passed slowly on the beautiful day. The birds chirped all around. The sunlight dappled through the trees in an amazing fashion. The sudden change of scenery was rather abrupt. The city ended quite quickly, and now they treaded down a dirt road, with a wooden fence that protected them from a roaring river to the east. They both reached a hill, very similar to the one from before. Beginning to ascend the stairs, both got ready for a long walk. Actually only Justin did, Crisie jogged along happily.

"Told ya' you needed to work out more," she jittered.

"Oh will you give it a rest..."

"Fine, fine."

After what seemed about thirty-five minutes, and enough stone steps to last Justin a life time they reached the summit. Right there in front of them was a helipad. With a helicopter. The blades were turning slowly as though warming up for a long flight. The pilot was madly pressing buttons. The silver door slid open and both kids looked inside at the two leather seats with intricate seatbelts. Now the propeller picked up. The wind around the winged monster picked up. Some leaves nearby began to "hurricane" around the helicopter.

Crisie happily hopped out. She made an "Ow.," sound as she grasped the warm metal bar to hoist herself up. Justin, learning from her error, did not make the same mistake.

February 19th (Year Eligible)

A researcher can prude over the pettiest of things. It is so true. I am sitting here, in the still of the night reviewing my notes. It Intrigues me. It intrigues me so that such mysteries were left behind by the ancient people's, so as to confound, and mystify people like me!

It's bothersome to.

Once, a child, no older than eight walked up to me and asked me why I cared about such trivial things. And I couldn’t answer. But I pitied him. How could he not care about them! Some of the greatest mysteries in life we encounter everyday and he doesn't take a second to ponder their greatness. Adolescence is so...different.

I am startled off what I have learned. The ancient ones seemed to know so much, and so little. Perhaps it was this that drove them to making this-this "thing". I am not sure, regardless, I will do what I can to aid humanity and see to it no one of a dark heart gets a hold of this weapon...

The propeller's slowed as the chopper came to a near stop. It landed with a thump and Crisie and Justin got a small shock to their systems. As the pilot gave an ok sign from the front seat, Crisie unlatched her seatbelt and reached for the large metal door. She pulled the handle, and pressed a lever down on the door. With a quick motion she slid the door open and hopped out. Justin soon followed. They both were walking along a giant stone bridge, situated over a river. The stone bridge lead to a beautiful mansion sitting in a large grassy field with a courtyard in the back. An angel with large wings held a stone vase which was pouring out water into a fountain. Small shocks of electricity randomly shot up to the sky. Weaving in and out of the hedge was a Plusum and Minum. Playing cutely.

Bypassing all of this and cutting straight through to two large glass doors, both teens pulled them open.

What stood immediately before them was a large plant. With waxy viridian colored leaves stemming form the stone pot. It stood on a marble pedestal, on the base of that pedestal were various Greek gods, it looked as though they were supporting the contents on top with much effort. Around this particular area was a large, blue, red, and scroll-colored floor, with a star that had the letters N, S, E, W (North, South, East, West,) in the correct position.

From here they could take five different paths. Straight, up the left side of the stair case, up the right, to the immediate left, and to the immediate right. Crisie screeched with joy and went to the immediate left, where a large fire in the hearth was crackling away. She plopped herself down on one of those special beds that a therapist uses to crack you open. Justin went straight, to the kitchen.

No one at first was there. However clawing marks could be heard, and almost seconds after Justin’s arrival into the kitchen, Justin was bombarded by a flash of Red and White.

"Ar-Arcanine! St-Stop boy! I lov-ove ya too," Justin laughed as Arcanine's pink and wet tongue just went berserk in happiness on his face.

More footsteps could be heard.

"ARCY! Heel boy! Heel!" yelled a man in his late sixties. His long grey hair was pulled back into a small ponytail, he was wearing a hunter green oxford shirt, and khaki's.

The pokemon respectfully the pokemon listened and moved away quickly. He appeared to leave in the direction of Crisie. Exclaimed marks of "Hey Arcy!" only proved this a minute later.

"Terribly sorry master Justin, he is just so overly happy." said the old man now helping Justin up.

"Thompson don't worry! It could’ve been worse, like last time...(Justin began to massage his left arm)." Justin moved over to shake Thompson's left hand.

"Oh it is so good to see you Thompson, I have so much I wanna talk about!" happily said Justin now leading over to a glass door in the back round. It slid open and both stepped out. The countryside was just plain beautiful. Over a field of tall swaying grass lie the ocean. Sounds of Wingull and all sorts of pokemon met their ears as the strong salty ocean smell met their senses. Both men took a seat on a small glass table with Green decorative seats. Justin stretched and Thompson smiled.

"So how was your last gym battle? I have been so eager to know! I can only imagine positive things!"

Justin started off with a half smile, and then broke into a full one. "Yeah, yeah it went good. But I'm not completely pleased with myself. I used Starmie and Ampharos, I don't always wanna concentrate on them, ya know? Move onto my other pokemon."

"Well Sandshrew is very powerful, as is Ivysaur, and Sableye."

"Oh I know that, but I feel guilty for my pokemon in my storgae box. You know Thompson, it's hard to get a good rotating belt team. Especially when your pokemon have grown and developed so much," responded Justin looking out into the sea.

"Do not fret Young Master Justin, in time you will find the perfect balance for both you and your pokemon. SO how long do you plan to stay? I am quite eager to catch up. Oh it is so lonely here without you young master Justin, I miss young Emily's presence as well-"

"I wouldn't say that as long as she's in the country Thompson, as you can see, she hasn't kept the name."

"Well true, but Crisie is after a misnomer of her code name, which may I remind you she hates as well,"

"Well I don't know about you, but I like Crystal, it was a great name,"

Thompson laughed. "Because you made it!"

Both of them laughed, stopping eerily at the same time.

"Well Thompson," Justin yawned, "i'm gonna hit the sack, see ya tomorrow," and with that he got up and headed to his room." *******The Next Day*********

Crisie was outside in the clearing of the weeds in front of the lake playing with Ivysaur. Both were laughing so hard. Crisie was playing jump road with the leathery vines attached to Ivysaur. Occasionally he would whip one back and she would fall. All that laughing caused to Justin to wake up, by falling off his bed. He got up and walked out to the small balcony to watch the two playing. Smiling he got back inside to eagerly start the day.

Thompson was in the kitchen whipping up a late meal of some toast with strawberry jelly, a few donuts of various flavorings, and Mac & Cheese, Justin's favorite.

As Justin stumbled down onto the cold blue-red-green tile floor in the kitchen his eyes shot open as the cold sensation of the tile reached his brain. He quickly jumped at the counter in the middle of the kitchen, and began to sit on the cherry-oak stool. He sighed, mumbled "Morning Thompson" and smoldered his head on the counter.

Thompson continued to mix in the cheese with the elbow macaroni on the stove, stirring very slowly and looking outside.

"Did Crisie go home?" asked Justin now looking up.

"No, I offered her the night here, although she is always welcome. She slept in the eastern guest room, you know the crimson guest room."

"That's good, I guess we'll stop by her mother's before we leave."

Thompson shut the heat off and turned to look at Justin as he picked up the pot of boiling contents.

"So soon? But you just returned after quite some time. I was looking forward to talking to you Master Justin, it has been so long," sighed Thompson now dumping the contents into three sage colored bowls.

"Oh I won't be gone long, maybe about another five days. You know, another mission."

Thompson's reaction's was very subtle. As he put the sage colored bowl before Justin, his hands slightly shook. He never liked it when Justin left. Nevertheless, it was imminent.

As the food was poured completely into the bowl, and the spoon placed neatly in the center, Thompson turned away and slightly quivered.

::Anime sigh/aggravation.::

"Oh come on! Every time I leave I don't always put my life in jeopardy!" yelled Justin, outraged. The glass door leading outside was slightly open a crack. Crisie's head turned as she heard the commotion.

"Be reasonable Master Justin!" Thompson argued back. "You know your flaws, your-your mishaps! They have nearly claimed your life many a time!"

"Name one, just one ."

"Okay, how about the time..."

Scene where a huge stone pyramid in the middle of a dessert begins to quake. From the front opening a boy running frantically with a panicking bulbasaur both dash out as not only the pyramid falls apart, but hundreds of very agitated Diglets came popping out.

"Hey, when you see a button...you push it..." said Justin sheepishly.

"Well then explain..."

Scene with an exploding volcano in the background. A boy covered in soot frantically takes cover. He runs into a hot tub covered with wooden log walls that sits ominously in the forest. As he jumped in, taking a sigh of relief, a naked Flannery pops out.

Lots of screaming...

"Oh like I haven't studied female anatomy!"

"Or..."

A dark room (or at least you think it is). A door creaks open and a masculine voice shouts out "anyone here? Footsteps. You hear movement. Scratching like a sleeping back has been set out.

A loud groan. A robed, not exactly best looking at night-Crisie, opens the door sleep eyed. She turns the lights on.

A Snorlax groans, and rolls on the occupant of the sleeping back...

"I really wanted to sue the guy that left that there..."

"Or..."

An Ursaring with two little crying cubs was holding Justin, who was panicking madly as he shook his hands to testify he was innocent.

"We all trip sometimes..." he spoke sheepishly pressing the tips of both his fingers together quickly.

"Or, the grandeur of them all..."

A-

"NO NO NO! I get the point! We can stop!"

"No really, I am in the mood for a good laugh..."

A scene where their is course breathing in a dark place. You can hear an echo, so you know it must be pretty big. A scratching noise and a torch comes lit. Justin is there with his torch. He looks around, gives a sigh of relief and begins to walk. A squiggling sound comes from behind. He looks over his shoulder. At least 100,000 Spinarak are there, frustrated at an intruder.

The entrance of the cave is shown. You see him sprinting out, and then a wave of so many Spinarak, it looks like a sheet of green slime, comes spewing out. He makes a few turns along the shore and eventually gets deep into the heart of a bordering forest. There Justin bends over and sighs again. He leans back, but instead of falling back on the ground, he lands on a very angry Dragonite.

You hear a roar and see a beam of light shoot up into the sky. A charred Justin lands in a hot spring, face down. He gets back up and sighs again looking around. And their next time him, is a naked bathing Crisie.

"Would you-I mean...Arghhh-" he moaned now sheepishly playing with the contents of his food.

Thompson chuckled hard. It seemed strange. That one second he was sad, and yet another he was happy. Perhaps laughter was keeping that old man alive. Perhaps that was the only reason any of them were alive.

Laughter. It could pull you out of some of the most troubling moments...

^The Next Day^

"MOVE! PLEASSSSE!" screamed Crisie running off of the huge schooner and over to a nearby garbage to pale to " relieve" herself.

"Is she gonna be alright?" asked the sailor, Mr. Brynes. He had that grandfatherly intuition about him, so anyone younger than him was like one of his own.

"Crisie? Oh don't worry about, she can't stand boats," laughed Justin, waving goodbye to Mr. Brynes. He happily waved back and withdrew the walking bridge.

Justin walked along the tier. Along the edge were various little shops. With emphasis on the little. Some were no bigger than perhaps a broom closet, but then again, some only had a few items, or small ones. Mystic shops, Ice Cream Parlors, Fast Food, and some clothing outlets. It was cloudy out, a little to cloudy out. This city badly needed some sunlight. The water was not pristine and clear, it was a murky blue that sloshed and slapped along the city wall.

"You okay?" asked Justin rubbing Crisie's back sympathetically.

She wiped her mouth and stood straight up. Her cheeks were redder than a cherry, mainly because she just threw up in a large crowd.

"Sorry 'bout that," she mused looking around to see if anyone noticed. Some did, quite a lot.

"These...nutty...people...come on let's go!" she whispered grabbing Justin by his elbow and pulled him off to the side.

They were in a small town called Roseencut. It was right near Cianwood, so they needed to take a boat. Crisie pulled out a map and stared at it. Justin looked over her shoulder.

"Well, if your sources are correct, this secret base should be somewhere over here," she said pointing to an intersection of two roads named Shame and Corringdale.

Both of them maintained a quick steady pace. The city looked run down. Shops, signs, sidewalks, even people looked improperly cared for. Mold and faded brick galore could describe the scene. Even the pokemon were old. Most either saw was a sluggish moving final evolution.

Finally, after about an hour of walking they reached the intersection. The area was really screaming secret entrance. An open grass property right between a fragrance shop, and a small Italian cafe. The side of the mountain, or hill, or whatever it was didn't have a magical door waiting to be opened, but it was definately suspicious.

Crisie ran onto the grassy opening first. She stopped almost immediately as she stepped on it.

"Yuck. It's horribly muddy, better be careful," she said taking her time to walk on tippy-toe.

Justin also went on his toes, trying to step on rocks and abandoned toys from toddlers who probably used to play there.

Once both reached the far wall, they felt around for something. A latch, a handle, a button, anything really. Justin remembered Raikou's exact words: "it's hidden behind a stone wall. Their should be an obvious entrance,". But their wasn't any obvious entrance. Just rock and lots of it.

About two hours passed and still nothing. Crisie yawned and plopped herself down on an old tire stuck in the mud. Justin kept on searching.

"Sure their isn't something we having tried?" she asked putting her head in her hands.

"Positive. Their has to be a button, or lever, or something that we can pull. I just know it."

Crisie mumbled something about stubbornness and she sulked even lower, attempting to rest.

"Behind the wall," echoed in Justin's mind. He had a feeling this was Raikou's idea of a word game. Before long, Ivysaur and Sandshrew popped out and aided him. He commanded them like slaves. Tell them to pound, push, pull, anything that looked like a door-opening-device. Ivysaur collapsed in anguish, but Sandshrew did not give up. He eventually tripped on something, muttered "Sand-" and felt under the rocky wall.

Justin was just about to go down to the far end when...

"Shrew! Sand!" said Sandshrew jumping up and down.

"What? What is it? Show me buddy!" exclaimed Justin now kneeling before the pokemon.

Sandshrew, being quite the comedian, lifted his finger and gave a sign that indicated "Observe." He took his finger and carefully placed it under the wall. Behind the wall .

Pull, and snap.

::Anime freak out::

Justin almost had a conniption. The entire wall just flew up like a drape. He returned Ivysaur and Sandshrew, and grabbed the snoozing Crisie and flew into the metal door that was in the middle of the wall. Just in time too, as though it was a timed thing, the "curtain" flew back down to cover up the entrance.

Breathing heavier than he did for almost his entire life, Justin det down the now startled Crisie.

"What the-? What happened?" she asked looking around.

"Well, if you really want to know, I found the entrance,"

"I know that! I mean what happened here!"

Justin turned, and his heart fell to the bottom of his stomach. He wasn't sure, but he was almost positive, the large mass of what was before him was blood...

Cliffhanger eh? I know, I can be so mean sometimes XD. Anyway, please give me an example of how much more description I need! I am in a panicking state, every time I proof read. "Is it enough, is this enough, how about this?" and to get advise from someone else would be much appreciated, thanks!
