Hey all. I put alotta work into this fanfic, so PLEASE READ. Also, because not because of some mild language, violence, and complicated story elements I rate this story PG-13

Also all of the characters unique to this story belong to me. I don't own pokemon, nor am I affiliated with Game Freak or Nintendo. I am not associated with 4Kids either. All of the charachters in this story that do not appear in the Pokemon anime or Manga belong to me. Every other character that does belongs respectively to their creators. This story was written and belongs to me.

The rain was pouring uncontrollably. The wind was so strong the houses everywhere were shaking on their foundation. Two people, a man and woman were running frantically into a cave. They were wearing robes and had face paint and wierd hair styles.

"I don't believe it, you were right," said the woman to the man as they entered the cave. "I didn't think that..."

"Forget it, many would have made to the same mistake." Replied the man as he slowed from a run to a walk."We must get to the end off the cave before it happens."

The cave was lit by candles hanging from the ceiling. Some were blown out, others had fallen of there small trays that hung from the ceiling. The cave had many paintings on it. There was a rope, it was wavy and had tassels, that extended a few feet in from the entrance and ran all the way inside. They were barefoot and the groung was stony and had may cracks in it. They didn't care as they were used to it. They quicked dhere pace. There hearts beating so fast. They began to sprint. A stair case was ahead of them. They jumped it. The girl saw someting and pointed.

"Look Argus, the center of the cave!" said the women.

"You're right Dameon. Oh there may still be hope!"replied the man named Argus. He was heaving heavily. As they closed in on the light an earthquake started.

"Ignore it!" screamed Dameon. She made it into the chamber first with Argus on her heels. Before her was a huge crystal floating over a well. It had a floating rope around it with tassels. The crystal emitted an erie glow. It had a large crack in the front.

"Argus," whispered Dameon, "we-we won't make it will we..."

"N-No," said Argus with extreme fear and sorrow in his voice. "w-we won't but we must do this for other generations. Let's do this." Both of them raised their arms and began to chant. Sacred words flowed from their mouthes. They hopped around. As Dameon danced a tear flowed from her left eye, down her cheek. 'For our children' she thought. The crystal glowwed so bright they closed their eyes and fell to the ground. It split straight down the middle into two pieces. As it did the ground split in two. The thunder outside crashed so loud. The cave flooded entirely. It seemed that apocalypse had set and that with the destruction of the crystal came the destruction of the world...

In another place, in another time...

A tall girl with long straight red hair stood over a grave stone. She had on black high-heels and was wearing a cape that was wrapped around her chest and extended rigth above her knees. It looked almost like a shawl. It was sunny out but a large black cloud was approaching from behind. She didn't care however. She went there for a reason, a reason that she had been abiding by for six years.

"I-I really miss you..." she said. "If I could go back and change what happened I would. But-but I can't-" she cried and fell to her knees. "oh Ash, forgive me, it was , all my-fault..."

She continued to kneel and sob into her hands until it began to pour. She stood up covered her head and began to run back to her house. The grave stone may have left her eyes, but it never left her mind.

In another time and place.

Kevin hated his parents. Eight years of school in Maine. He made so many friends, people who he had hoped he would see almost everyday until college. But his stupid father, his job was doing bad. So his boss offered him another outpost for his company, in Connecticut. He would have to start anew. He was going into Rochester Hills Public High School and he didn't know ANYONE.

His mom walked him to the bus stop.

"I'm sorry," she said, "but we needed to move honey. Don't worry I'm sure you'll make lots of friends." she kissed him on the cheek.

"Thanks mom, but if you don't mind I really wanna go on the bus without you watching."

"Oh, I'm sorry, um-well, good luck, I love you." and with that she walked away to her house.

Kevin felt cruddy about shooing his mom away but he didn't want to be made fun of on the first day. The air outside was really cold out and he was breathing mist. In a matter of seconds he heard a bus turn the corner and pull up to where he was standing. It slowed, stopped, and opened the doors, right in front of Kevin. He walked in and looked around. There were only about five kids. They were all talking and laughing. They didn't seem to notice him. He took the second seat from the front of the bus. 'This is gonna be a long day,' he thought.

In another time...

Boom! Crash! Smash! Brrrrrrrrrrrr! An alarm went off.

"Dammit! We have a code violet I repeat a code violet. Skip the growlithe squad, go straight to the Arcanine Team." said a short portly man who was speaking into a walkie talkie

"We read you loud and clear Gunther. Were sending Officer Jenny, she'll sort things out.

"NO-I NEED THE ENTIRE SQUA-AHHHHHH!" the walkie talkie fell to the floor and with it some blood spilled from Gunthers stomach. It wasn't a bullet but a pokemon.

"Good job, Seviper." said a woman who had crimson red hair that was down to her waist that was completely straight. "Come on John, these jewels should get Giovanni's attention. We fly!"

"Whatever you say my sweet Jennifer." said a man who had short wavy hair. It was somewhat of a violet-ish hue.

The two both through one pokeball on the ground, they burst open and a Fearow and a Pidgeot. They hopped on and flew through the window they broke.

"Hey Jenn," said John, "are you sure we can earn Giovanni's attention with these. It's nothing more than a little days work."

"True, true," said Jennifer as he hair flapped in the wind, "but add up all of the other things we have stolen, and well, it's quite a load."

Both of them laughed hysterically as they flew off into the full moon.

Back with Kevin...

Kevin was being shoved by the immensely large crowd as they all left the auditorium. They gave all of the ninth graders a big long speech at how they were beggining anew and how they were going to have the best four years of their life ahead of them. 'Bull' thought Kevin. Yet still, he realized that the school was only trying to help welcome them.

They all were given their schedules and Kevin proceeded to his homeroom (206). His teacher, who was an old lady named Mrs. Kaden welcomed them and explained the finer points of the school and so on. Kevin went through the first three periods of the day without much thought about it. The teachers were just greeting them and telling them all the things that they were gonna do and the things they needed and what they were going to learn. Everything was boring and simple until fourth period.

"American History," he sighed. He walked into the class room (105) and sat down in the far corner. It was still summer and there was a gentle breeze coming throught the window. The other students filed and eventually the teacher walked in.

"Hello students. I am Mrs. Oberstein, and this is American History. In this class we will..."

Kevin looked dreamily around. No one else looked interested. He looked on the other side of the room and in the opposite corner was a girl. 'Gosh she looks firmiliar.' he thought. She was wearing jean short-shorts and had on a Navy blue midriff. Her hair was a carrot top orange and it was pulled into a small pony tail that stuck at a Northeastern angle. 'Wait I KNOW I've seen her before, like almost every day, but where?'.

Ta-Da! Part one. I hope you like it. It may seem confusing now, but wait, I have alot of stuff that I'm gonna do with this story, so don't you worry. Also did ya recognize the girl at the end? C'mon if you didn't you shouldn't be reading this (just kidding!).
