If you guys could email me and tell me what you think of the story, that would be great. I wouldn't even mind suggestions either. Thanx

I do not own pokemon. I am not affiliated with Game Freak or Nintendo. All of the characters in this story that do not appear in the anime belong to me. If you copy this without asking me, you are plagirising.

Also as promised I would like to give credit and thanks to Kevin G. THE ONLY PERSON WHO SENT ME AN EMAIL OF A SUGGESTION OF A POKEMON TEAM! But that's ok, alot of you probably didn't have the time. Anyway John's Pidgeot and Kristen's Gyarados were both inspired by Kevin. And I have a note on names:

In the third to last paragraph in Part 4 it says Rickie. Thats a typo, it was supposed to be Richie, you know, kid with the green attire and the Pikachu named Sparky. Also I am changing a few names:

Mark is now Max

Michael is now Angelo

And now on with the show!

They all walked into a large stadium with no roof. There were huge lights that were sticking out of the ends of the stadium wall and were all pointed to the center. In the center was the familiar rectangle with the pokeball symbol in the middle.

"Okay," said Lance, "member's of the U.P.A please take a seat whereever. Would the elite four follow me please. Prof. Birch please inform the Sky Raiders what were about to be doing. Oh wait do we have a volunteer for referee?

"I'll do it," said the familiar voice of Jasmine.

"Thank you Jasmine," said Lance. "Now kids will you please follow Prof. Birch."

The Prof. whom Ash did not know began walking to a dugout on the left side of the stadium. All of the P.S.R.s (Pokemon Sky Raiders) followed. When he reached the dugout everyone took a seat and Prof. Birch cleared his throat and began.

"You all already know what this battle is for. It will determine the leader of the Sky Raiders. Now the elite four will be evaluating you and seeing your strenghts and weaknesses. So that your chances of succeding improve, they will give you an additional pokemon to help balance out your team. Now who will be battling who is completely random, so all I can say is good luck!"

"Were ready Birch!" shouted the croaky voice of Agatha. "First up is Misty and Erin!"

"Good luck Misty!" whispered Ash as Misty shakily got up and began walking out onto the stadium. The girl named Erin also got up and walked to the stadium. She was somewhat pale and was staring fixated at the elite four.

Jasmine was already in the middle of the left side of the field. "One pokemon each you two. No time limits, and only forfeit if it's absolutely neccessary." said Jasmine. "Too make this fair both of you will pick a pokemon, once I see the ball in your hand Erin you will throw yours out first and then Misty. Got it?" Both nodded.

Misty picked a pokeball from her belt. Ash thought to himself it had to be Corsola, that would be the sensible choice. Jasmine raised her hand and Erin threw her ball on the ground.

"Espeon I choose YOU!" her voice was high and a little shaky but never the less a blinding light appeared and a purple cat-like pokemon with black eyes and a split tail emmerged. Misty threw hers down. 'Can I call em or what' thought Ash. It was Corsola.

"BEGIN!" shouted Jasmine.

"Okay Corsola harden!" Misty shouted. A golden like shell appeared around the Pokemon. The shell dissapeared in a second but Corsola was still glowing.

"Espeon Psychic!" Espeon's eyes were emmiting a blue light and Corsola began to slowly rise off the ground.

"CORSOLA! WATER GUN!" Corsola shot a water beam straight at Espeon and the pokemon's concentration was broken. Corsola fell to the ground with a thud.

"Espeon quick attack."

Espeon began to run at corsala, it was running so fast it was phasing in and out of everyone's vision.

"Corsola!" shouted Misty, "Mirror Coat!" the pokemon was covered with a silvery reflective metal shell. Espeon's move however still hit Corsola.

"You should have know," yelled Erin, "that Mirror Coat only deflects Special Attacks!"

"NO!" Misty shouted. Corsola had gotten the blow of the attack and it was swaggering back and forth.

"Now Espeon finish it, Psy Beam!"

The small jewel in Espeon's forhead began to glow. It then shot out a beam that was filled with colors. The beam was speeding at corsola and hit it square on. Corsola was thrown over misty and into the stands.

"Corsola is unable to battle and the winner is Erin!" shouted Jasmine.

"Good job," said Erin who had a look of sympathy on her face, "you did a great job!"

"But you won," smiled Misty.

Both of the two girls began to walk back to the stands talking. As they reached they staircase that led down to the dugout everyone clapped. Both of them blushed and took seats next to one another.

'I'm so excited,' thought Ash.

The elite four were furiously writing. After about a minute Agatha stood up again.

"John and Tracy!"

Both of them stood up and walked out onto the field. They did what Jasmine had instructed Misty and Erin to do. When both of them had a pokeball in their hand Jasmine told Tracy to throw his first. He did, it was a scyther. The boy named John threw his down next. A blinding flash of light and a Hypno appeared.

"AND BEGIN!" Shouted Jasmine.

"Okay Hypno," said John whose voice sounded kind of geeky to Ash, "Psywave!"

A bunch of circular waves emitted from Hypno's charm, which he was swinging back and forth. They were multi colored and moved slowly. As they approached Scyther they shrinked and sort of "entered" into his body. Scyther staggered backwords. He began to shake and rock back and forth.Scyther had become confused. Scyther began to swing at nothing and he was spinning around.

"No Scyther!" yelled Tracy, Scyther was starting to walk towards Tracy.

"Okay," said John, "Hypno finish it off with a Thunder attack!"

'Thunder' thought Ash, 'Is a hard move for a Hypno to learn He must be really well trained'.

Hypno swung his charm in circles now. It looked like a silver disk almost. It began to shoot out a huge jet of thunder and the thunder arched and hit scyther. Scyther, to everyone's astonishment mearly snapped out of confusion, yelled "Scyther Scythe!" and ran, arms swinging crazily, at Hypno. It appeared he was using a form of rage.

"Hypno block it with Barrier!" Hypno swung his charm very slowly, a small blue square appeared. It got bigger and bigger until eventually it blocked Hypno entirely.

"Scyther jump behind Hypno and use Mega Kick!" The pokemon did an astounding leap over the barrier, landed, and grew a white aura. He then kicked Hypno who went flying.

Hypno landed, right on his barrier which shattered and broke his fall some what. He got up, but fell, jasmine raised he hand.

"Hypno is unable to battle, and the winner is, TRACY AND SCYTHER!" Tracy jumped up and ran to hug Scyther.

'Not bad,' thought Ash, 'not bad.'

There it is, Part 5. Well Erin and Tracy have won, so who will be battling for the spot of leader next? You'll just have to wait and see. Until next time, Part 6 "The Unfinished battle of Pewter City."
