Scene: At the Lilycove Pokemon Center

May: (after moments in this heaven, May finally relaxes her lips and pulls away from Drew's) I've
sort of been hiding this forever, but I sort of like you too.
Drew: You mean love?
May: Yeah. (she allows herself to be held by Drew as she softly chuckles) Love. (May softly kisses
Drew on the cheek) You'll return my love, right?
Drew: All the time. (he returns the kiss as May gently closes her eyes and falls asleep in her
lover's arms)

At the Slateport Port

Brendan: (thinking) Once I tell May of all the trouble that I went through to come see her, 
she'll HAVE to be my girlfriend again!
Female voice: 11:30 P.M. Ferry to Lilycove, boarding now.
Brendan: Well, that's my ferry! (he steps up to the platform and gives the attendant his ticket)
Attendant: This ferry will arrive at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow morning in Lilycove City. Your room is 
D457 on the fourth floor. Enjoy your stay!
Brendan: (not thinking anymore) Thank you. (he locates his room and crashes onto the bed as he
yawns) I...can't...wait...to...see...May... (he falls asleep dreaming about his alleged "lover")

The next morning...

May: *yawn* (May wakes up and looks to the side, yet Drew isn't there) Hmm...where's Drew? (she
glances towards the bathroom, which is dark. May walks to the bathroom and looks just in case) He
probably went down to breakfast. (she walks out the door and goes to the Breakfast Hall, but it is
desolate) Where'd he go? He wouldn't just leave me, would he? (she walks into the lobby) Nurse 
Joy, how's my Beautifly doing? 
Nurse Joy: We'll be done with the operation in about five hours, so I can't promise anything yet.
May: Well, okay...have you seen Drew around?
Nurse Joy: Drew? Oh he just checked out this morning.
May: Oh...
Nurse Joy: Would you like to check out too?
May: Umm...I'll get something from my room and then I'll check out.
Nurse Joy: Okay! Take your time!
May: (she walks towards her room) He checked out without even telling me or just saying goodbye?
That sounds like something BRENDAN would do. (she enters her room and crashes onto the bed) I just
can't believe it... (she spots a note and a rose on the dresser. May picks it up) That's one of
Drew's roses. (she opens the letter) 

Dear May,
	I have left you here because we need to go on with our lives.
I love you so and I have left for Mosdeep City to visit my cousin
Steven Stone. I'll be there for a week or so. Come visit me and I'll
we can carry on...together.

							Love, Drew

(May stands there reading the letter over again) Drew...but I don't understand! How am I supposed
to get to Mosdeep? It's like a huge island and none of my Pokemon know Surf. (she crashes onto 
the bed) The only person I know who has a Pokemon that knows Surf is Brock and...my Dad! I can 
just call and ask him if I could borrow his Zigzagoon. Then we can surf to Mosdeep! (she picks up
the PokeNav and dials Norman's number. It rings once and then it picked up)
Norman: Hello?
May: Hi Dad, it's me!
Norman: Oh hi honey! What's up?
May: Could I borrow your Zigzagoon that knows Surf?
Norman: Err...I lent it to Brendan so he could see you. 
May: THAT INSENSITIVE JERK?????? HE WANTS TO SEE ME?????????
Norman: Yes, I think so.
May: Grr...thanks anyway, I'll take a plane or something to Mosdeep.
Norman: Okay, have fun sweety! 
May: Goodbye. (she hangs up the phone) God. Why does Brendan have to take away the only chance to
see my TRUE love. Brendan is sooo stupid and dependant. Why did I even start dating him? (the 
PokeNav goes off)
PokeNav: Gift, from Drew.
May: What? (a small capsule and envelope somehow slips out of the tiny PokeNav) Wow, he sent me 
the Fly HM. I could teach it to Beautifly, but it's still in surgery. (she groans) Well, I have a
whole week at least. Oh yeah, the envelope. (May opens it) Another letter? God...

Dear May,
	Okay, maybe this is a postscript letter, but I'm sure this 
will help you a lot. This enevlope also has a check written for
30,000 dollars for the Pokemon Center, which is able to pay for the
operation. Let's just say that this is a token of our love. ;)

Oh, Drew...I got to do something for him, he only has 20,000 dollars for himself... (she opens the
message folder in the PokeNav) I'll write an e-mail to him.

THIS IS THE E-MAIL FROM MAY TO DREW

Drew,
	Thanks for the money, Beautifly says thanks too. :) Personally, I think the rose was better.
:D Anyway, I read your letters several times, and somehow I think I'll make it to Mosdeep. I was
going to Surf over on one of my dad's Zigzagoon, but he told me Brendan took it to see me (bleh).
Also, thanks for the Fly HM, I'll return it when I see you again, which I think is soon. I love
you.
