One hot, cloudless summer day, an 11 year-old boy with a pikachu on his 
shoulder, was walking down the path with his two traveling companions. He was 
staring at the sky, and seemed to be very 
deep in thought....which was new to him.

Misty, asked the raven-haired boy, why’s the sky blue, and not green?

I don’t know Ash. Answered the fiery-red haired 12 year-old. Why isn’t the grass 
blue and not  
green?


Ash stopped dead in his tracks. He stood there with a faceless expression, 
thinking about every word
that he just heard. The only answer he could come up with was

Huh?......I don’t get.

Misty turned, staring him strait in the eyes, trying to figure out if he was 
joking or not...... 
Uhhhh!!!! Ash you’re  worthless!

I am not! I know exactly why the sky’s blue! I....I was just testing to see if 
you knew.

Oh yeah!? Then why’s it blue Mr.Science professor!!!! 

Ash thought for a few seconds, then came up with a, what he thought was a, 
brilliant conclusion!!!
Misty just stared at him while was so wrapped up in deep thought... Finally came 
his answer

Because the smeargel didn’t like it orange, so they painted it blue!
Misty sweatdropped as an idea dawned on her....

Yes Ash, smeargels really did paint the sky blue.

Brock and pikachu sat on a log. Listening intently to try to find out what Misty 
was planning, while poor Ash stood there, unable to believe what he just heard. 
Really?

Oh yeah Ash. See, they needed the sky to be blue for their plan to take over the 
world. They couldn’t have any other color, it HAD to be blue.

Misty walked away, with a small smile on her face, leaving a stunned Ash 
standing there, with his 
mouth hanging open, and a hysterically laughing pikachu, and Brock in the 
background.  

Hey...w...wait Misty! Did you really mean they’re going to take over the world!? 
Misty!? Misty!?
Come on! I know you can hear me! Misty!They’re not really going to...are they? 
Mistyyy!!Wahhh!!

A/n It took me 5 hours to write this! 5 hours!!! oh well.....
