Disclaimer:  I still don't own any of the Poke'mon or the characters.

Writers Note: I decided to mainly focus on Apprentice right now.  I have great 
ideas for it.  I'll update my other fics later in the near future.

Giovanni: So are you ready?

Ash: For what?

Giovanni: I was just telling you about your partner.

Ash (shocked): You were!

Giovanni raises his eyebrow at Ash.

Ash (thinking to himself): I must have been day dreaming.

Giovanni: Ash!

Ash: Yeah you were, I was just side tracted.

Giovanni: Well then, come in Rachel.

In an instant a hidden door in the wall opened.  Inside revealed a girl wearing 
a team rocket uniform similar to Casity's.  She had emerald colored eyes and 
long brown hair.

Ash (In awe to himself): Whoa she's cute.

Giovanni sees the expression on Ash's face and raises his eyebrow.

Giovanni: Well then, Rachel this will be your new partner.

Rachel looks at Ash and gets a grin on her face: So this is the famous Ash I 
heard so much about.

Rachel: Well it's nice to meet you Ash....

Ash: Ketchum.

Rachel: Well then Ash Ketchum, this will be a start of a good partner ship.

Rachel puts out her hand in friendship.

Ash (grinning): I hope it will.

Ash and Rachel both shakes hands and exchanges some grins.

Giovanni: Well then I think it's time for you to suit up Ash.

Ash: Okay.

Ash begins to walk towards the locker room until he remembers about pikachu.

Ash: I forgot about him.

Ash pulls a poke'ball out of his pocket and throws it onto the ground.

Ash: I choose you, Pikachu.

Pikachu is released from his poke'ball.  He scratches his head nervously.  It 
hated being sent to its poke'ball and it's been so long since it's seen the 
light.

Ash gets onto one knee and looks at Pikachu.

Ash: Sorry I kept you in your poke'ball so long Pikachu.

Pikachu jumps up and embraces Ash.

Pikachu: Pika Pika, (I forgive you).

Rachel: Ohh it's soo cuuuute.

Rachel runs over and picks up pikachu.

Rachel: Aren't you the cutest thing.

Pikachu gets an angry look on its face.  It begins to prepare a thunderbolt 
attack.  In fear, Rachel drops Pikachu on the ground.

Pikachu: PIKA.....

Ash: No Pikachu stop.

Ash jumps in the way of Pikachu's thunderbolt attack and takes the shock.  Ash 
falls to the ground burnt and crispy.

Giovanni: So that is the Pikachu those three bafoons have been trying to get.

Pikachus sees Giovanni and prepares to thunderbolt Giovanni.  Giovanni backs up 
nervously.

Ash (weakly): Pikachu stop.

Pikachu releases a weak static bolt instead in shock.

Pikachu: Pika Pikachu (Why Ash?)

Ash: Pikachu, we're with Team Rocket now.

Pikachu: PIKA (WHAT?)

Ash: I know how you feel about team rocket and I won't make you be apart of them 
but I'll be staying.

Pikachu stares deeply at Ash.

Ash: I won't force you to do this with me.

Tears falls down Pikachu's eyes.  It looks at the door and then back at Ash.

End of Chapter 2.  What will Pikachu's decision be?  Stay with Ash or live a 
free life?  And what will happen if it does leave?  Will Ash go insane?
