Part One: In the infamous Violet City, Faulkner decides to take a break from 
being a gym leader and travel the world with his personal assistant and 
girlfriend, Diana. Diana is a great trainer from Cerulean City. Although she 
works in Violet's Gym with Faulkner, she has only a few bird pokemon. She has 
all sorts of pokemon from both Johto and Kanto. Faulkner has only a few pokemon 
that aren't birds. They decided to go to Saffron City, despite the newly 
discovered Hoenn region. They took their pokemon to Saffron. Faulkner on his 
Fearow, Diana on her Pigeot. Side by side they flew, talking about casual stuff 
and what they would do once they got to Saffron.
   They decided that the first thing they would do would be to rent a room in 
the finest hotel in Saffron City. After that, they went to dinner at a fancy 
pizza place called Giordano's. The rest of the night, they stayed in the warm 
hotel on this cold winter night, swam in the heated pool, and flirted a little 
bit. Later, as Diana slept, Faulkner had been tarrying quietly watching 
television. Faulkner came up to her, gave her a peck to her forehead and 
whispered gently, in a calm, warm voice, "I love you." Diana had not awakened, 
but for some reason, she seemed to smile a bit more.
   When they awoke the next morning, it was about eight o' clock. While they 
were going to the training gym, where you can win either Hitmonlee or 
Hitmonchan, Diana noticed Faulkner stopped walking. She turned and asked, "What 
is it?" Faulkner replied, "M…My pokemon…" What about them?" "They...they're 
gone!" Faulkner exclaimed. "They're what?!" Diana said, "We have to find them, 
where could they be?!" "I don't know, I didn't take them off." Faulkner said, 
confused. Diana replied, "They must have been stolen!" "Who would steal a gym 
leader's pokemon?, especially if they were in a hotel room with the door 
locked?" Faulkner asked to no one in particular. "Not Team Rocket. Maybe Team 
Magma or Aqua?" Diana suggested. Faulkner said, "Probably not. I don't think 
they would come all the way to Kanto to get only a few bird pokemon. Team Jaws?" 
Diana replied, "No, they want dog pokemon. So, it isn't…any of them…" "Then who 
was it?" Faulkner questions. "And how would they know we are here?" Diana asks, 
"Only people at the gym and the other gym leaders know. Unless there was a spy." 
"But…who would that be?" Faulkner said. "…I don't know, I don't know…" Diana 
said.
