Latias's Love Disclaimer: I don't own pokemon. OMG people, are ustedes happy? I am FINALLY updating this story, in fact all of my stories that have yet to be completed. So... here goes nothing. ~~ Latias decided to get up for the first time in a long time (AN: reallllly long time since I haven't written in awhile) to practice her drawing skills. They were a bit rusty since she hadn't drawn since Ash had came back, but as she continued, she found the shapes getting easier and easier and had soon accomplished another picture of, who else, but Ash. Latias sighed and placed the picture into the tree knot with the others, however, when she did so a note fell out. Latias picked it up and her eyes became wide as she read it. "Dear Latias, I know what you want and I am a member of Team Dream, an organization dedicated to making the dreams of pokemon come true. I think I may have found a way for your dream to come true. All you have to do is come by Igglybuff's Italian Eatery at noon to meet me. I'll be wearing a light blue suit. Please don't show this note to anyone, we are a need-to-know organization for pokemon eyes only. Come alone. Sincerly, Lawerance." Latias's heart skipped a beat, could this organization really make her dream come true? She was at her wit's end and was desperate enough to see what this organization had to offer. There wasn't much time to get ready, it was already 11:34, but when she knew the way to the eatery by heart. She quickly folded the note in half and took off, full speed, for the restaurant. ~ Ash took a deep breath and released it, he took the address card out and made sure he was at the right place. Ash had decided to make up with Misty, he had a Bouquet of wildflowers, Misty's favorite kind, and was actually dressed up for a change. Ash sighed and knocked on the door. Misty answered it and she looked terrible, eyes red and puffy, her hair a mess. "Oh not now, I'm not in the mood," she said with out looking, hand over her eyes. "Misty?" Ash called out. Misty's arm shot off of her eyes as she looked at him in disbelief, unable to say anything. "Ash?" she finally maged to mutter, looking as if she was a starving person who had just layed eyes on food. "Misty look, things have gotten confusing lately and I got distracted from the main reason I came out here," Ash said as Misty motioned for him to come inside her room, which was covered in empty sprite cans and potato chip bags. "You mean the race?" Misty's voice held a sharp tone of disgust. "No, I mean the other main reason." Ash handed Misty the flowers and turned her so that she was facing him. "Look, I may not be the brightest person in the world and it may take me a bit to realize things, but I know one thing for sure and it's how I feel about you. I know I have sort of messed things up by my actions, but I've been wanting to tell you for some time just how much you mean to me. I really really like you, maybe even love you. All I know is that you are the most important girl in my life and, if it's not to much to ask, I'd like to accompany you right now to go see a movie and perhaps catch some lunch afterwards." Ash gasped for air, having said most of the aformentioned in one breath. "Oh Ash," Misty had tears in her eyes. She didn't want to forgive him, but everything in her body and soul were telling her to go for it, and oh did she want it. Misty shook her head yes and the two embraced. It was a strong embrace, full of life and the tension of near rejection that had been completely passed by. "Oh Ash, but I look terrible." Misty did indeed look worse for the wear, but Ash just smiled. "You look great to me. I'll give you a second though if you'd like to primp yourself, but you look fine as is." Ash smiled, and he wasn't lying to her, he really did think that she was beautiful, which perhaps made her even more beautiful. Misty quickly combed her hair, wiped her eyes, and straightend her shirt. The two walked hand-in-hand out of Misty's room for the last time as Misty had already decided to go back to the hotel room she had originally inhabited when she first arrived. ~ Ross had stepped outside to take a break from the gondola he had been cleaning. Letting the breeze cool his sweaty body, he commenced drinking from a bottle of natural spring water. As he had finished and was putting the cap back on the bottle, he happened to spot a familiar figure, or more, two familiar figures on the sidewalk across the waterway from him. Ash and Misty were walking hand-in- hand and both seemed to be in a world all of their own. Ross wiped his eyes, hoping it was just the sun, but alas his vision failed him not. Indeed Misty was happily with Ash, as Ross knew was inevitable. Ross dropped the water, turned around and re-entered his gondola shop. Ross sat at a work bench and then proceded to cry for the loss his heart was suffering. ~ Latias walked cautiosly into the diner, her human disguse was Bianca this time because if she was in any danger, someone would be sure to recognize her and help her out, her being Binaca and not Latias. Latias sat down at one of the outside tables and ordered a cream soda. She sipped it, adoring the flavor. There was no pokefood on earth as good as a cream soda. Smiling and feeling more at ease, Latias began looking for the man. Latias paid the waiter with money she had found on the street, mostly quarters and dimes, and accepted her receipt. Latias glanced over her soda and saw a man in a trench coat approach her. "Are you the one I sent for?" he asked "Yeah, but how did you know it was me?" Latias asked, slurping more soda. "Typical scanner will show that you're not a person, but a Latias." he replied simply. Latias nodded since her mouth was full of soda. "Follow me, lets go somewhere more private so we can talk." Latias chugged the rest of the soda and left a small tip in the tip jar as she followed the man to a small hotel-like place where people could rent rooms for a short stay or could live in the rooms like apartments. He and Latias entered one of the rooms. The carpet was green and stained black in places by who knows what and the room was bare, with only a desk, a single red chair, a small bed, and a broken TV set. Latias, though her knowledge of humans was limited, knew that no human would willingly want to be in a room like this. "Sit down," the man motioned to the red chair. Latias looked at it distastefully, but sat on it, not wanting to be rude. "Now, I'm here to tell you how you can make your dream come true, the one you have of getting that young boy to like you." "How did you know?" Latias asked, forgeting about the chair she was sitting in and turning her full attention to the man who was now sitting behind the lone desk. "I have my ways. Anyways, you don't know this, but I'm both an inventor and a collector of sorts. I believe I have made the proper invention, with help from objects in my collection, to turn you into what you wish to be. A human with a shape of your own, voice of your own, and everything else such in that manner. You will not be a pokemon anymore, are you okay with this?" the man leaned over his desk and looked her in the eye. "Of course I am, it's what I've wanted for so long now!" Latias stood up, hands clasped together. She looked pleddingly into the eyes of her new-found savior. "If you're willing..." "Oh anything, I'll do anything." "Alright then, let's discuss the terms further..." ~ "Hmph, where's Ash? I've been looking for him all day." Casey huffed to her Pikachu, who was worse for the wear of carrying a litter of Pichus. Pikachu was also with them, he had taken to staying with his new-found mate during her pregnancy. Casey walked past a gandola shop, when she heard sniffling and crying. Curios, Casey stepped inside and found a young man crying. "Excuse me, I don't mean to intrude, but what's wrong?" she asked. Ross lifted his head and sighed, "I just lost the girl of my dreams to someone who didn't deserve her. I never thought pain like this exsisted," he sighed, wiping his eyes. He didn't want to be caught crying. "I know what you mean, I lost the guy of my dreams, who turned out to be a player. I either lost him to a pokemon or one of the sweetest girls I've met, I'm not sure which." Casey sighed too. Then, for some reason, both her and Ross couldn't stop laughing. Nothing really funny had been said, perhaps it was having the feeling of pain hold onto their hearts for so long. Finally they stopped, wiping laughter tears from their eyes. "I needed that, what was your name?" Ross asked, extending his hand. "Casey, and yours?" Casey accepted his handshake, it was strong, firm, yet gentle. Casey liked him already. "I'm Ross. Perhaps we could discuss this further over a cappachino. It seems like we both need someone to confide in." Ross stood up and both he and Casey walked off, already the bonds of friendship were forming between the two. ~ AN: Not long at all, but I figured I owed you guys an update. Yes, I made things less complicated, but don't worry, that's only temporary. Well, untill next time (I haven't said this in forever) This is the Lonepichu signing off. Please comment ^-^
