Nameless Disclaimer~I don't own pokemon, but I do own the story line and the charcters I made up. ```````````````````````````````````````` Issiac Ipollo was training his pokemon on the outskirts of Viridian City. Although he hadn't started his pokemon journey untill he had turned fifteen, he was quite the trainer. He was now battling a Rattata he had found in the grass with his Wartortle. "Go Wartortle, use water gun!" Issiac shouted. Wartortle shot a blast of water at the purple rat pokemon, who jumped out of the way and turned to face Issiac and Wartortle; it's red eyes shining when the light from the full moon above glinted on them. "Wartortle, now use the Icebeam we've been practicing." Wartortle nodded at Issiac and began to shoot out a watergun, that it had frozen to create a beam of ice. It hit Rattata, who was knocked down, but quickly got back up. Then the rat pokemon began to glow a white color. The rat grew bigger in size untill it stopped glowing, revealing a brown-colored Raticate. The Raticate beared it's fangs as it swung it's tail around aggitatidly. "I wasn't expecting that." Issiac said, Wartortle seemed surprised as well. "Well, Wartortle, power up a skull bash!" Wartorle lowered it's head and began to rush forward at an incredible speed. Raticate jumped to the side, but Wartortle turned around and hit Raticate head on. Wartortle sent the rat flying, then Raticate landed on the ground, stunned. "Nows my chance, great ball, GO!!" Issiac threw the blue and red ball at the Raticate, who was transformed into a red energy beam and sucked inside. The ball wiggled a few times before coming to a stop. Issiac had succesfully caught the Raticate. "Alright Wartortle, that was great. Thanks a bunch." Issiac congradulated his Wartortle, then returned it back to it's pokeball. Issiac then heard a scuffling noise, and some voices coming towards him. Issiac quickly jumped behind a bush as the voices came to where he had just been. He listened in on the conversation that was taking place. "Little lass, you have annoyed Giovanni for the last time." a gruff voice was saying. "I wasn't annoying Giovanni, I was just trying to see if I could have a gym battle with him." a cold female voice said. "Giovanni has a dislike for you, and has decided that a lass like you would be better never returning to Viridian city." "Good, I wasn't planning too." here Issiac heard a thud as something hit the ground. "I've released you here, and you must never set foot near Viridian city again, or the consequences will be severe." Issiac heard the heavy footsteps of the man fading in the distance and then some scramblings on the leaves as the girl got up. "Alright, I know someone is behind that bush, so you can go ahead and come out." the female voice said in a tone that could even make a Swinub shiver. Issiac stood up and walked out from behind the bush, his brown eyes glancing at the girl in front of him. He felt a little breathless as he glanced into her eyes. Her eyes were such a deep shade of green, that they appeared black if just looked at quickly. She had long dark-brown hair that came down to her waist. Issiac looked away from the girl, he couldn't look into her eyes much longer, for they were engulfing. Issiac ran a hand through his short brown hair as he looked at the ground. "Sorry I was listening in to your conversation." Issiac apoligized. "It's nothing, I just thought you were one of Team Rocket's grunts. Sorry to be so rude." the girl's voice wasn't as cold now, but it still wasn't completely warm. "What would your name be?" "My name is Issaic Ipollo, what's your name?" Issiac asked, a little shyly. He didn't recieve an answer, so he looked up. He saw a small tear in the eye of the girl. She looked up at him and sighed "I have no name." "Huh? You don't have a name?" Issiac seemed a little surprised. "Yes, I don't have a name. Many people call me many things. Girl, Lass, or even, Hey you. But many just call me Nameless, for I was never given a true name." the girl said, turning her back on Issiac; her hair glistening in the pale moonlight. "So, I should call you Nameless?" Issiac questioned. "It doesn't matter what you call me, I have no name." she turned back to face him. "But I'm searching for it, believe me." "Tell me how, please." Issiac looked up at the girl with fasination. He wasn't sure if he truely believed she had no name, but he had no where to go and this girl was cute. He gathered some firewood and began a fire, then he sat down on the ground. The girl did the same as she began her tale. "Well, I have always been ridiculed because I have no name, but I have also been feared since I have inherited psychic powers from my mother, whom is the only member of my family that I have a name and face to know." Here, the girl paused as she saw that Issiac wished to ask a question. "Who is your mother?" Issiac asked. "My mother is a psychic trainer known as Sabrina." the girl answered, then continued. "Well, I have the ability to see, somewhat, into the future. Like I may see a rock and forsee that someone will trip on it, like you'll trip on that rock right there when I'm through with my tale." the girl motioned to a nearby rock. "Hah, I doubt that, I have great balance and I am definatly not clumbsy." Issiac boasted. The girl rolled her deep green eyes at him, then continued. "Well, I would take that rock and move it, so as to prevent what was to happen, so I guess I have been doing little good deeds all along. Anyway, my fellow orphans at the orphanige came to fear the power that I had to see the future. They came to believe that I was dangerous." "You don't look dangerous to me." Issiac had placed a pot of stew on the fire and it was begining to smell quite nice. The girl took a deep breath and began again "I'm not dangerous, they just thought me to be, and it became quite unbearable at the orphanige I come from. I decided that if I had a name, well, maybe people wouldn't be so quick to deem me dangerous or wierd. Maybe I could find a companion to be my friend." she paused and looked up at the sky. "Well, I thought that sitting around at some orphanige wouldn't help me find my true father any faster, so I set out, escaping from the orphanige." "Was it hard?" Issiac asked with intreast as he stirred the stew on the fire. "Not really, for they wanted me gone and were happy I left." she said bitterly. "Well, I have been searching for clues since then. The only one I have is that he's a very powerful man. I have heard that I can meet him at saffron city, but I am not sure." she crossed her arms as she looked directly into the fire, the flames reflected in her green eyes. "Your heading to Saffron?" Issiac stirred the stew, then put the lid back on it. "I'm heading there too, but for differant reasons." "Which are?" the girl asked, not looking up from the fire. "Well, my mom has recently contracted a very deadly, but curable disease. Well, curable only if you have the money to pay for it, which my family does not. That's why I became a trainer, so I could compeat in the pokemon league and win it. The prize money will be more then enough to pay for a cure." "The chances of winning a pokemon league competition are very slim." the girl said without looking at him. "I know, but it's the only chance I have." Issiac took the stew off of the fire and placed on the tree stump he was sitting next to. "Maybe we can travel to Saffron together." Issiac suggested. "I'm not sure, I have a vision about you that you, like all people will end up betraying me if I stick with you." "I wouldn't do that, it's not like me to be disloyal to my friends." Issiac said as he set out two bowls and two spoons on the stump. "Hmm... maybe it would be nice to travel with a person. You seem friendly, and you didn't judge my about my lack of name. I guess it wouldn't hurt anything if I traveled with you." the girl looked up at Issiac. "Alright" Issiac smiled. "Stew's ready." he called as he stood up and... tripped over the rock that the nameless girl had pointed to earlier. "Told you." the girl said, a small smile played across her face. It was her first smile in a long time. "Ouch." was all Issiac could say as he lay on the ground looking up at the starlit sky, and his new nameless, green eyed friend. `````````````````````````````````````````````````````` End of part one, hope ya like it.
