Olivine City (Here We Come) Disclaimer: I don't own pokemon or the first pokemon movie sound track (which all the songs in this fic come from) or anyone who sings those songs. This is the first pokemon fan fic I ever wrote, but not the first I submitted. I found it while cleaning today, so I decided to type it up for your viewing pleasure. There is also a sequel to it, which I'll type up as soon as I find it. Enjoy Part 4 ooo "Morning Togepi," Misty yawned and smiled at the little egg. Togepi blinked and yawned, wiping it's eyes groggily. "I was thinking," Misty commented as she got dressed and fixed her hair into it's usual ponytail, "what if last night, Ash only asked me because I'm the only girl that would go with him? Maybe he was trying to prove something to me." Misty sighed and picked Togepi up, who trilled happily at being held. "Maybe I should just pretend like last night never happened," Misty sighed dejectedly. "LEt's go get some breakfast." Togepi was happy with the thought of food coming up. ooo "Morning Pikachu," Ash mumbled as he stared at his hair in the mirror and deemed that it didn't need to be brushed. Ash pulled on his usual clothes sleepily. "Don't nag me about last night, please." Ash begged Pikachu. Pikachu nodded his head and jumped onto Ash's shoulder. "Let's go get some breakfast!" "Pika!" the two ran down the stairs and arrived at the breakfast area of the hotel. Even though Ash was probably the hungriest, he was the last to arrive. "So, has Aaron called you yet?" Misty was teasing Brock. "You guys are never going to let me live this down, are you?" Brock asked, his cheeks marked with a blush. "Not on your life," Charletta grinned evily at him. "I feel a lot better now," Brock shook his head and smiled at his girlfriend. The three were laughing happily. "Good morning," Ash called to them. "Morning," they called back. Ash filled up his plate with food and took the seat next to Misty, shoveling the pile in front of him into his mouth. "I wonder if Aaron is staying in this hotel. After all, this is like the fanciest hotel in all of Olivine." Misty commented, playing with the eggs on her plate. "Misty..." Brock begged her not to tease him anymore. Misty glared at Brock, "Not for you." Brock backed away. "I'd like to meet him." Ash chocked on his pancakes, grabbing at his throat. After he managed to smile, he shouted, "YOU!?" "Sure. I mean, what girl would pass up this chance? Plus, imagine how much I could sell his autograph for to my sisters," Misty grinned evily, toying with that thought in her head. "You're right, ebay would so love me. Let's find him!" Charletta stood up and agreed. The two giggled and ran off together in search of Aaron Carter. "This isn't fair," Ash mumbled angrily, stuffing a forkful of food forcefully into his mouth. "Aaron ruins everything." "You can say that again," Brock said, the two of them seething at the boy who had fangirls to do his every whim. "Hey, maybe we should sing our own song for the girls! That way they would forget all about Aaron." Ash suggested. "Oh, I know! We could sing..." "Not your Perfect girl song," Ash cut Brock off. Brock laughed nervously. "Only one problem...I can't sing." Ash sighed, defeatedly. "Well, it wasn't a bad idea." Brock was defeated as well. The two boys finished their breakfast in silence. ooo lunch time ooo "Eeeeee! There he is!" Misty shouted. "Where, where? I can't see him!" Charletta scanned the room. Misty grabbed Charletta and turned her so she was staring at the blonde, teen wonder. "Hey!" Charletta harolded like the fangirl she unadmitantly was. "Hey there," Aaron Carter walked over to them, causing Charletta to squel, "What are your names?" "Umm...I know it. Let's see, water sounding...Misty! Yeah, that's it!" Misty looked triumphant, then blushed profusely. "I"m Charletta, pleased to meet you," Charletta introduced herself calmy and colledctedly. Misty glared at her, and Charletta merely winked. "Toge-prii!" Togepi introduced it's self. "Well, aren't you a cute pokemon. Hey, would you thre elike to have lunch with me?" Aaron asked. "Yes, more than anything!" Misty looked excited. "Sure, why not," Charletta had it together. "How about lunch is on me? Let's go somewhere fancy," Aaron grinned and led the way. ooo "So, Misty, you're a water pokemon trainer. What about you, Charletta?" Aaron asked as they walked towards the resturant. "Well, I train Eevee. I have all five eevee evolutions, and an extra Eevee, just in case." she explained. "Wow, that's cool. I only have one pokemon with me currently, and it's my all time favorite: Dragonite." Aaron told them. "Really? Dragonite is one of my favorites too!" Misty exclaimed, togepi happily making noises in her arms. "Seems like we have a lot in common," Aaron said as he stopped in front of Igglybuff's Italian Eatery. "Here it is, my favorite resturant here." "Brings back memories, doesn't it Misty?" Charletta elbowed Misty, looking at her slyly. "I have no idea what you are talking about." Misty said with a sweat drop. Charletta laughed as they took their seat in the same spot as before. "You two are funny," Aaron commented as they ordered their food and chowed down. ooo Pikachu made a kissing face and Ash scowled, "Very funny Pikachu." he rolled his eyes, which stopped in mid-revolution as a commotion was heard from the hallway just outside his room. "Goodbye Aaron, lunch was nice. I had a good time." Misty was telling Aaron as Ash peeped out at the two by opening his door a tiny crack. "Me too, Misty," Aaron leaned close to Misty and kisse dher cheek gently, leaving Misty's face blush-stained. "good bye." Misty entered her room, fumbling with the card key, and closed the door behind her. Aaron walke doff, whistling one of his songs to himself. Ash shut the door and flopped onto the bed. "I should have kissed her when I had the chance," Ash then procedded to bash his head against the bed post. ooo 6:00 PM ooo Ash is sitting in a local icecream parlor, eating milkshake after milkshake. Pikachu pats his friend's back sympathetically. "Pikapi, pikachu chupi?" "I'll tell you when I've had enough," Ash looked at his empty wallet, "which may not be much longer." he groaned. "I have enough for one more. Sir, another milkshake please!" The waiter handed him a milkshake from behind the counter and shook his head, "You should listen to your pokemon. At the rate you're going, you're going to have a gut to haul around during your pokemon journey." "Don't tell me what to do," Ash growled. "Let me guess," the guy began to polish a glass nonchalantly, "girl problems." "How'd you know?" Ash looked up from his milkshake. "Been there, done that, wrote the book. I've seen it thousands of times before." the waiter put the glass back on the shelf and began to polish another. "We usually get the majority of our buisness around the big pokemon party that the gym throws. Guys get dumped, or guys take things the wrong way." He picked up another glass. "Take that Aaron Carter fellow. He always picks a few lucky girls and takes them out to lunch, then he leaves. All the girls like him, and I've seen many mistakes made over those lunch dates. They're nothing serious, lad." "It's like, you know what I'm thinking. Do you have a Xatu?" Ash asked, enraptured by the waiter. "No pokemon about it, just lots of experiance. That Aaron guy, his kisses mean 'thanks for being a fan' not 'I love you'." the waiter explained. "Really?" Ash's milkshake was long forgotten. "Yeah, the kiss, the date, it's all just to make a few girls happy, don't worry." the man waved a hand to show that it was no big deal. "Thank you mister," Ash remembered his milkshake and finished the rest. "Please, call me Cypres," the waiter offered. "Now I've got to find her and apologize for acting like a jerk." Ash stood up and placed down money, but the waiter waved it away. "Call it a gift for realizing what a jerk guys can be. Good luck on your jouney, Ash," the man waved as Ash turned to leave and had exited the store, when something finally hit him. "Wait a second, how did you know my name?" Ash turned back around to find that the ice cream parlor had completely vanished. "What just happened?" Pikachu shrugged. "Weird," Ash turned and left, heading back to the hotel and trying not to think about the odd experiance he had just had. If Ash had looked up, he would have seen a golden Ho-oh, the one he had met on his first day of training, flying through the sky, a gentle whisper floating down from it's wings, "Never give up." ooo Misty is walking along the beach, not really paying attention to where she's going; just trying to pass the time away. "The ocean is so beautiful," she whispers as she watches the waves lick the shore. Two lanturns are calling to each other in the distance as they playfully chase each other. Misty was about to head back to her hotel room when she hears someone calling out to her. "Misty, hey Misty! Where are you?" Ash is running along the shore with his hands cupped over his mouth, Pikachu running along beside him. "I'm over here!" Misty waves at him. Togepi jumps from her arms to the sand below and runs over to Pikachu, trilling happily. "What do you need?" Ash came to a stop in front of her and leaned down to catch his breath, then he blurted out, "Misty, this weird guy talked to me and made sense, but then he disappeared and I think I didn't eat milk shakes even though I feel full. I drank too many." "Are you okay? Do you need to lie down?" Misty asked worriedly. Ash realized that what he was saying sounded completely crazy, so he stopped trying to explain what happened and just say what he needed to. "Nevermind. Remember last night when we were walking?" "Yeah?" Misty asked suspiciously, yet with a voice full of hope. "I think I owe you this," Ash said, his heart picking up pace. Misty's heart was racing two as the two came closer together and Ash placed his lips delicately on hers. At that moment, time seemed to stand still for the both of them. There was no one else in the world and the noise of the ocean waves and the lanturn had ceased. "Pikachu," pikachu shook his head, meaning that it was about time. Togepi trilled happily beside him. ooo Misty threw the door open to her room and began dancing around the hotel room with Togepi. Togepi gurggled happily as they danced. "So Ash really does like me! Who would've thought?" Misty smiled and got ready for bed. ooo "I did it Pikachu!" Ash shouted triumphantly. Kissing wasn't nearly as hard as he had imagined. It was easier then winning a gym badge, that was for sure. "So this is what it's like to kiss someone. You really do evolve..." Ash remembered on the Orange Islands when Misty said that they would have to see if you really evolved when you kissed, just like the Nidoran. He now knew that you did. "Goog night Pikachu." "Pikachu Pikapi," Pikachu yawned and the two boys flopped onto the bed ad fell asleep without bothering to change into their pajamas. ooo End Part 4 Wow, this really has gotten longer than I thought. There should only be two parts left. Possibly one, but I think I'll split the last one up into two parts. Please review, I love them ^^
