*** I forgot to mention this in part 11, but the only non-type pokemon that are allowed in the tournament are Eevee because of their malleability to different types (Is that a hint?)***

"May I know where the Silver stadium is, Nurse Joy?" I asked her. I had registered in the tournament as a water and ice type trainer. The officials accepted my two types as water and ice are practically the same. "Sure I do! Keep following the river west, and it will get you there." Said Nurse Joy. I thanked her and walked out the Pokemon center. Just then, a small squeak interrupted me. I turned left, from where the noise was coming from. I parted the bushes apart to find an Eevee! "veeeeeee" it screeched and assumed its attacking position. "Artemis! Go!" I shouted "Thunder wave!" the Eevee was paralyzed. I threw an ultra-ball at it and it was caught-almost. Just as I was about to pick it up, the ball opened up. The eevee wasn’t down yet. "Artemis! Slam!" The eevee was too slow for Artemis and couldn’t avoid her attack. This time, I threw a great ball and it was caught! "Yes!" I yelled, but as I was about to pick up the great ball, it got transported to Prof. Oak.

I saw Silver stadium and it just wasn’t named that for its location- The whole stadium was made of silver! The bright sunlight reflected of the shiny metal, blinding my eyes. I entered the stadium. It was packed with people. I went to the office and checked in with the tournament official. "May I see your pokemon sir?" she asked in a stiff voice. I handed her my pokeballs, which she passed through a machine, not unlike the ones at the pokemon center. "I’m sorry sir, but Zubat and Sneasel cannot be used as they are only level twenty-five and the tournament is for level 30 pokemon and higher." She said after a while. "Can’t I use Sneasel?? It’s only five levels from level 30!" I whined, but the stern expression on her face told me otherwise. "Guess I have to use Hermes…" I thought. I didn’t show her Hermes’ blue pokeball. "What pokemon do I use to fill up Zubat’s place?" I walked to the PC and remembered that I had an Eevee.

"You have five minutes till your match sir. It’s time to spin the wheel of Combat." Said a different official, pointing to a wheel to his right. The edge of it was filled with the names of trainers. There were about 50 people. I walked up to it and spun it with a mighty tug. The official (whose name was Stingy.B. Wasp) marched near the wheel holding an emerald green notebook to jot down the pairings. The wheel started to spin slower and slower and slower and finally STOP. I read the name off the side.

"Earn. A. Penny"

"Sir, your opponent is Earnest and you have the second match in about twenty minutes." Said Stingy.

"The second match is about to begin! This will be against Julius Raven against Earnest Penny! What types will they use? Will it be a mismatch like Ground VS Flying during the first battle?" It was the commentator. I did not know that the tournament would be this big! I walked in to the box at the far end at the court as Earnest did at the opposite end. The scoreboards flashed twice and it read

"Raven: 0 VS Penny:0"

Adrenaline was rushing through me like a river rushing down a hill during a flood. "At the count of three, the battle begins!" said the referee " 1…….. 2…….. 3!"

" Rocky! GO!"

"Artemis! GO!"

"OH! It’s a Dratini versus a Nidoking!" said the commentator.

"Rocky! Body slam!"

"Artemis, evade it!"

"OUCH! The Nidoking just smashed into the ground! A perfect opportunity for the dragon to attack."

"Artemis! It’s a perfect opportunity for you to attack! Slam!"

"That did VERY little damage to Nidoking. What will Earnest do?" said the commentator.

" Nidoking! Poison-sting!" The poison-arrows shot at Artemis. It was really powerful.

"OUCH! The dragon is poisoned. What will Raven do next?"

"Artemis! Give it all you got and use Slam!" That slam was way more powerful than the other one.

"THAT SLAM WAS WAY MORE POWERFUL THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE! NIDOKING LOOKS TIRED!!!" shouted the commentator, spitting everywhere.

"Rocky! Body-Sslam it off to hell!" shouted the boy in glee. I closed my eyes. Artemis fainted.

"Great job Artemis return." I said and Artemis came inside its pokeball.

"Earnest, probably a poison-type or a ground type trainer is winning by one!" said the commentator.

"Europa! GO!" Lapras came out looking delighted in fighting in a tournament.

"OH! It’s a Lapras! This shows that Raven is a water or ice type trainer!"

"Lapras! Finish it off with an ice-beam!" A bluish-white ice-beam came out of Europa’s horn and hit Nidoking square in the face. It fainted.
"NIDOKING’S FAINTED! THE MATCH IS TIED NOW!"

"Sandshrew Go" said the boy in an ‘all hope’s lost voice.

"Europa! Water-gun!" The Sandshrew fainted.

"RAVEN IS WINNING 2-1!"

"Nidoqueen! Go! BODYSLAM!" said Earnest

"Lapras! Dodge it!"

"LAPRAS IS TOO SLOW FOR NIDOQUEEN! OUCH THAT SHOULD HURT!" said the commentator.

"Europa! Ice-beam!"

The crowd’s roar was so loud, that a flock of Murkrow fled after hearing it. I’d done it. I’d won the first round.

" Now, lets see what attacks you know." I said, bending down to pick up Athene, my new female Eevee. It was named that because of its intelligence. I pointed my pokedex at it as I was heading towards the Stadium’s pokemon center.

**** Eevee: The evolution pokemon: Eevee is known to have five evolutions: Vaporeon, the water pokemon; Flareon the fire pokemon; Jolteon, the electric pokemon; Espeon, the psychic pokemon and Umbreon the dark pokemon. Recent researches show that it might have three new evolutions , unknown to the human kind.

Attacks: Tackle

Body-Slam

Sand-attack

Reflect

Level: 31****

"You’re pretty powerful for being so small." I said, catching up to the trotting Eevee. "Size isn’t everything. Now LOOKS are." She said. I had a feeling that she was like a typical ‘Ms. World’: Smart, talented, yes, but also conscious about looks and dresses.

"Nurse Joy, could you heal my pokemon?" I asked Nurse Joy, who was sitting at her desk stuffing about five cookies into her mouth. "SURE!" she said, her mouth full of mushed cookies "Good job at the match today!" "Thanks" I said, reddening a little. I decided to watch my ‘Pokedex-TV" for a little bit to see if anything new had happened.

"We are here, in the Forest of Azalea as a couple of mysterious events has occurred. The strange shrine dedicated to an unknown pokemon has burst open. There are no crow-bar marks, hammer marks or as far as we can tell, it wasn’t opened by a human at all. It seemed to have been opened from the inside. Now back to you, Lily." Said Daisy, the stunningly pretty reporter. The screen flashed back to Lily. "Thanks Daisy." I snapped the computer shut. I had heard of the shrine in Ilex forest and I had always wondered to whom it was dedicated: To a pokemon or to a human. Soon afterwards, I fell asleep.

"Your next battle is against Ellen Goodlet. It is the first battle and it starts in five minutes."

I healed my pokemon. I heard from many people that Ellen was a psychic type trainer and that she knew telepathy. I didn’t know if the telepathy part was true or not, but I had a feeling she was powerful. After five minutes, I walked to my green box and prepared for battle. I decided to use Athene first this time.

Ellen appeared at her box now.

"At the count of three, the battle begins!" said the referee "1….. 2…..3! GO!"

"Peck! GO!" said Ellen

"Athene! GO!" I said

Peck turned out to be a Xatu.

"Peck. Future-Sight." Peck’s eyes glowed red and then nothing happened.

"Athene! Sand-Attack!" Athene jumped twice and started throwing sand everywhere with her puffy tail.

"None of the pokemon are attacking yet." Said Michael, the commentator. He was rather round and chubby.

"Peck! Night-Shade!"

"Athene! Reflect!" A shield of energy surrounded Athene, blocking the blackish-purple beam of energy that lunged at Athene.

"Now! Body-Slam!" I commanded.

"Ouch! That should HURT!" said Michael, spitting everywhere. Suddenly, there was a sudden gust of wind, that came abruptly out of nowhere. As I turned in the direction of the wind, I saw a silver beam of energy coming towards Athene. It was Future-Sight.
