The Queen’s B-day long weekend has now gone by, and we got to let off some fireworks of our own! Yay-ness! Although we had some backfires – like the one that fell over and shot into the car port, but its ok, the car was out. IT WAS HILARIOUS! EN-EE-WAY I bought several streets and hotels etc during my game of Monopoly, but I still don’t own Pokemon...oh well. here’s part 4 of Fireworks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Misty Waterflower was disturbed by the sweet smell of pancakes cooking, the soft sound of Pidgeys singing, and the warm touch of the suns golden rays falling across her shoulders. She sighed and rolled over onto her stomach, clutching the blanket in a last ditch attempt to convince herself it was night time and that she should be staying in bed, getting some more sleep. It was a pointless game, but she played it anyway…she lost. The gorgeous redhead pushed herself up on her hands as she stared down at her pillow, arching her back to stretch her muscles before rolling over into a sitting position on the edge of the bed, letting her gaze roam over the sleeping form in the bed across the room from her. She got up and walked over to him, absent mindedly brushing his hair from his face. The black haired teen stirred just a little bit, then some more, his nose twitching as the aroma of Brock’s cooking wafted past his super sensitive nostrils, setting off the one thing that was always somewhere in the back of his mind no matter how much else he had to think about: FOOD. Ash Ketchum’s eyes sprung open to find Misty smiling down at him. “Morning, sleepy head,” she whispered. For a moment, he just gasped up at her. “M-morning,” he breathed out. He still couldn’t remember who she was, but right then he knew she was the most beautiful thing he had set eyes on. The sunlight made her red hair glow like fire, and her blue-green eyes seemed to draw him in, hypnotizing him. He blushed a little when he realized he had been staring and remembered why he had woken up. “Mmmm...is that Brock’s breakfast I can smell??” “Nope, I’d say its lunch, Ash. It’s 12:30 already.” She said, laughing. He blushed more. He liked hearing her soft heavenly laugh, and in the light she looked like an angel. “Oh. Well…I hope it’s as good as the waffles he made yesterday!” and with that, he threw off the sheets with his unbroken left arm and bounded out of the room, leaving a small yellow mouse on the end of the bed wide awake and rather shaken. “Pikaaa!” “Its ok, Pikachu, Ash’s just hungry,” she said soothing the electric rodent. Misty smiled, knowing why he had been blushing when he looked at her. She was by no means conceited; she just knew guys thought she was attractive, which kind of sucked sometimes. Thinking about the look he had when he had stared into her eyes, she did a happy little dance around the room, followed by Pikachu, who knew all about why she was so cheerful. ‘It’s working,’ she thought to herself. ‘He’s falling in love with me all over again!’ This was her master plan, to make the “new” Ash fall head over heels for her, so it wouldn’t matter whether or not he remembered the love they shared before the accident with the fireworks. So far it was working, if only... She heard a yell from downstairs, and knew instantly what it was. Duplica was awake. “Oh great,” she muttered. “Pika pii-kaaa,” moaned Pikachu. “Don’t worry, we’re working on it,” she told him. Then with Pikachu on her shoulder she walked down the stairs to the kitchen to help. She found Duplica strapped into the chair Brock had modified for her that let her have one arm out to feed herself, but didn’t let her leap at Ash in a fit of craziness that had taken hold of her. Needless to say, she wasn’t fond of the setup. “LET ME OOUUUUUTTT!” she screamed, trying to get free and over to where Ash sat opposite her at the table. Ash, still not too sure what to think of her, simply sat there eating his breakfast. Brock sat on the floor filling the Pokemon bowls with his own homemade Poke food. As Misty sat down on the 3rd side of the table Ash looked up and smiled at her. She smiled back, earning herself a vicious glare from Duplica. “You keep away from MY Ash!” she spat. Misty just ignored her. It seemed to work. “So Brock, any ideas about today then?” she asked. He stood up and sat at the table. “Not really. May’s boyfriend, his brother Sandy and her brother Max are out looking for May, but Dawn, Gary and Tracey are on their way here. Keeping up a fast pace they should arrive by tomorrow afternoon. Then we will all head to Cerulean, and from there...well, I don’t quite know.” he shrugged. “Well after all that we can catch a short ferry back around to Pallet Town. Hopefully by then he will know a little more and we can work on getting him to remember his mom.” “Good idea; I hope Max finds his sister.” “Maybe they might want to come with us? May could’ve headed out in this direction” Brock thought for a moment. “I’ll put the idea to them. At the very least it’ll give us a few more people to watch Duplica,” he said. Then Misty had a thought. “And this way, Dawn will have Sandy to comfort her. According to Tracey, she’s really upset over this whole thing, but she’s ok when Sandy’s around. Aww,” she giggled, thinking of the love struck youngsters. It had been love at first sight for them, and seeing the two of them together for the first time gave her hope that soon Ash would be ok, and that he would remember that they had confessed their love for each other. She wasn’t sure if he would actually remember it or not, but as long as he loved her it didn’t matter. “So, who’s Dawn?” asked Ash. “And May? And Max?” Brock got up and took a photo frame off of the bench. He showed it to him. It was a picture the two of them with a short boy with glasses and a girl about his height with long brown hair and a red bandanna. “The girl is May, and that’s her brother Max,” Brock explained, pointing to each of them. “I’m afraid I don’t have any pictures of Dawn, but you’ll see her tomorrow. And of course, we don’t have any of Gary, since he was you’re rival.” “Do you remember him?” Misty asked. Ash thought for a moment. “When I remembered Pikachu, I saw flashes of scenes. One was of me bumping into a boy with brown spiky hair and a blue shirt…that WAS Gary, wasn’t it?” he asked. Misty nodded. “Yeah, that’s him. Oh, and I have a picture of Tracey, it’s here somewhere...ah! Here, see? That’s him on the right, holding the sketchbook.” Ash looked at the photo of him and Misty on the back of a Lapras, laughing with their arms around each other, while the boy called Tracey sat on a rock with a book in his hands. Ash shook his head. “Nope, doesn’t ring a bell.” He said. “Oh well, he’s coming with Dawn, so you might remember them tomorrow.” Brock stood up. “In the meantime, we have to go shopping for supplies. I don’t know about you, Misty, but I’m fresh out.” She agreed to take Ash with her to the Poke Mart to stock up while Brock and Duplica’s Ditto, who Professor Oak sent over, would continue trying the techniques the doctors at the hospital had recommended when they learned of her whereabouts. “Well Ash, I need a shower, and I’d say you’re about due for a bath. We’ll leave in about half an hour, so be ready would you?” She stood up and stretched her arms, heading for the stairs again. “Ok Misty,” he said. “Ash...bath?” Duplica said. “Uh oh,” said Brock. “MINE!!!” Duplica thrashed and kicked, but couldn’t get free. “Ash, come back! Take me with you! Love meee!!!” she yelled. Misty sighed. She went and ran a bath for Ash, then headed to the other bathroom for her shower. She washed her hair and was done in 10 minutes, then dried herself off and got dressed into her yellow top and shorts but left her suspenders off her shoulders for the time being. She left her hair down, since she had a feeling Ash liked it better that way and wanted to look good for him when he first saw her. She walked into the room she was sharing with Ash, brushing her hair, when the door to the bathroom opened a little bit, and then she heard some mumbling. Curiosity overcoming her, she peeped through the tiny gap the door had made and smiled. Ash had been on his way out and had opened the door, but dropped the tip of his towel into the bath, making it wet. Since he only had one hand, he was finding it hard to wring the towel out and since he thought he was alone, Ash had let it slip down off him to make it easier, revealing his bare legs, waistline and – in Misty’s opinion – his cute butt. She stifled a giggle, then backed over to her bed to wait for him, feeling a little hot from seeing Ash naked in the bathroom, even if it was from behind. “Stupid towel,” Ash grumbled as he wrapped it around his waist again and opened the door, only to find Misty, lying back on one of the beds, smiling rather seductively at him. She watched his jaw drop, and on cue, so did his towel. Misty blushed a dark red, trying not to stare at Ash’s abs, legs and...manhood. It was hard not to, since he didn’t seem to realize he was stark naked in front of her. Finally, Misty gave in and let her eyes wander over him. She giggled, and he came to his senses, blushing furiously and fumbling with the towel, wrapping it around him protectively. “Uhh, maybe I could have some privacy, Misty?” he said, indicating the clothes he had set out on the bed to wear. Misty smiled again, giggling as she turned around, not leaving the room. He groaned and walked over past her to his bed, grabbing his clothes. Misty waited, listening to him getting changed, but it sounded like he was having trouble with his arm. “Ash, do you need some help? Seriously,” she asked. “It’s ok, you can turn around,” he said. She turned and saw he had his pants on, but was stuck doing up the buttons on a nice dark blue shirt. She walked over to him and helped him slide his arm through, her hand lightly caressing his chest as she did it, making her breath quicken. She didn’t hide it like she normally would, instead just letting the feeling flow as she continued. She did up his buttons, sorry to be hiding his chest, up until her hands were resting on his shoulders. He looked down at her, mesmerized by her eyes. “Thanks...Misty,” he whispered. She looked at him, he looked at her, and at once they both decided to give in to what they were overcome by and they kissed, passionately, their arms wrapping around each other. Misty couldn’t believe how much she had wanted to taste those lips a second time, missing the sweet embrace they had shared briefly the night of the accident. Before either of them knew it, they were shuffling backwards towards the bed, Ash’s buttons coming undone and the fly on Misty’s shorts loosening bit by bit. Misty felt Ash lower her to the bed, reaching for him and pulling him down on top of her. They paused for air and Misty looked into Ash’s eyes. Ash pulled back. “I’m...I’m sorry Misty,” he said. “I didn’t mean for that to happen.” She smiled and kissed him. “It’s ok, Ash.” She said. “But yeah, I guess we’d better get going.” She stood up, doing up his buttons as he pulled up her zipper. They walked to the door, but before they could get to it, it burst open and Duplica ran into the room, with Brock on her heels. “WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN HERE WITH ASH???” she screamed. Before Brock or Ash could say anything, Misty stepped forward with fire in her eyes. “HE’S NOT YOURS!!!” she bellowed. Duplica shrank back under Misty’s wrath, cowering in the corner of the room. “HE ISN’T YOURS TO OWN AND I CAN SPEND AS MUCH TIME WITH HIM AS I WANT!!!" and with that, she took Ash’s hand and led him past a subdued Duplica and a speechless Brock. --Outside the gym-- “Hmm, sounds like the twerps are having a bit of trouble with that copycat twerp.” “Things do seem a little strange around here Jess.” “Meowth, that’s right, the twoips are actin’ weird.” “You mean that’s them?” Jessie and James looked over to May, who was sitting with her arms crossed next to them, her Rocket Elite cape draped around her slender frame. “Err, well they’re quite a handful...” Jessie said. “Either that or you’re all just losers.” “Well, that is a good point…” BONK. “OW!” “What do you mean that’s a good point?? James they’re tough and you know it!!!” May smirked, pulling out a Pokeball. “Well, let’s see how tough they are against me...” she said, watching as Misty led Ash down the road towards the Poke Mart and out of sight. --Out in Viridian Forest-- "Tracey! We've seen that Mankey eating an apple twice before while in this forest! Why do WE have to hang back and move even slower than old Ashy-boy just because YOU want to sketch it!" "YES, we've seen it twice before and I've HELD OFF twice before, but it's a great scene to sketch and I can't resist the temptation three times. Besides, maybe we wouldn't still be here if DAWN knew how to read a map!" "Don't you two try to turn this on ME! If it wasn't for my superb map reading skills we wouldn't even be THIS far! You would've been in here so long you'd have nothing new to sketch!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well, that was fun. Not much happened really, I know. in case you’re wondering what happened yesterday, they basically just hung out and talked to doctors about Duplica, working out strategies to help cure both of them, and learned that May had disappeared from hospital. Please if you read this then review so I know how many people are reading my story. Oh and one more thing...I have another LARGE story to post, but it’s a little bit different, so I don’t know if I will actually put it out or not. If anyone wants info on it or anything else, review and we can email etc etc. byes
