Appearance:
Hair: A dark sandy colour, best described as tawny. His hair is thick and cut back at the front so it won’t get in in his eyes, but covers that back of his neck. No fringe, but his hair does cover the sides of his forehead, just not the whole way across.
Eyes: Dark brown
Skin: Tanned
Build: Fairly tall for his age (around 6ft?) and well-built from both walking and training to use his weapon.
Clothes: He wears slightly bagging black trousers, a leather belt, brown boots, a brown jacket with buckles at the sleeves and a cream/tan coloured shirt underneath.

Weapon: Duos Potestas

History: Rai grew up in Mauville city with his father, the city‘s blacksmith. For the first fifteen years of his life he was tutored by his father to become a blacksmith and forged his first sword when he was eleven. He developed a like of electric Pokèmon after watching a battle between two trainers and seeing the power the electric Pokèmon possessed. His grandfather forged the Duos Potestas for him when he reached fifteen which replaced his normal single bladed weapon. It didn’t take him too long to master, although the twin blades react much differently than a single one would. Soon after Rai received the blade his father granted him permission to leave Mauville and the smithy. Rai set out on a journey to capture and train electric Pokèmon immediately, his first being an egnostic Eevee he met just south of Fortree city. It evolved the first time it came close to the Duos Potestas; why is still a mystery to both trainer and Pokemon.
