Writer's Notes:
In this chapter, Keith calls Ferrari to tell them that he and Ash are all right. The team tells the two that a jet is on its way to pick up the two drivers. Also, Brock and Suzie finally confess to each other. Then, Ash and Keith have to say goodbye to the others as they prepare to head to Europe for the Belgian Grand Prix. What surprises await Ash and Keith as they head for Viridian City?

Chapter 14: Planning, Confessions and Goodbyes
The Ferrari base in Italy was busy with packing the team transporters for the trip to the Belgian Grand Prix. While the employees of Ferrari starting to load up the cars, engines, parts and spare cars into the transporters for the long trip, Michael Schumacher was pulling his hair out trying to contact Keith. And he let everybody around him know about how he feels right now.
"I can't reach that goddamn bastard!! The shithead turned off his cell phone!!!" Michael said angrily as he stomped around the room when the phone on the table started to ring. "Stupid American!! He's mine!!!" Michael yelled out as he dove for the phone, but Ferrari Boss Luca di Montezemolo picked up the receiver as Michael slid over the well-polished table and crashed into the wall, making Rubens laugh out loud.
"Hello? Who is this?" He asked,
"Um... Mr. Montezemolo? It's Keith." Keith's voice was heard on the other line,
"Mr. Terrell. Would you mind explaining to me why you turned off your cell phone?" Mr. Montezemolo asked,
"Would you believe that Ash and I were attacked by Team Rocket twice, fired at by the Death Rockets, chased by female police officers in cute short skirts and getting beat up by a Pokémon?!!!! HUH?!!!" Keith asked. Rubens whistled after he heard what happened to Keith and Ash.
"Damn. Good thing I'm not him." Rubens said to Michael,
"Shove it, Rubens. If I were running this team, I would have fired him already!!!" Michael said disgusted. Keith could hear both of them over the phone.
"I heard that, assholes!!! Lucky for me, I'm over in Pallet and I can't kick both your asses!!!" Keith yelled out,
"Michael. Will you just calm down? We all know that you and Keith never see eye to eye. Basically, it's my fault for not listening to him when he told me he was being shot at by Team Rocket." Mr. di Montezemolo said,
"Why, thank you very fucking much, sir. At least somebody still appreciates me!!!" Keith said sarcastically,
"Aw, let me shoot him!! Then, I'll bring Jacques back from NASCAR and put him in the car." Michael said,
"And have all of the United States pissed off at you so much that they will drop nuclear bombs to you and Corinna's home? Would you like that, Michael?" Rubens asked sternly, reminding Michael of what the U.S. would do to him. The 6-time champion just shut himself up. "I knew you didn't want them to blow you to bits." Rubens said,
"Be quiet, you two. This is between me and Mr. Terrell." The Ferrari boss said, now becoming annoyed with Michael and Rubens' arguments.
"Sir. I don't know how much longer Ash and I can last out here. It seems like everybody here is trying to get their hands on us for what you assholes did to them 2 years ago!!! First, it was some Pokémon trainers, then Team Rocket, now it's the Police, the Elite Four, a Pokémon on steroids and the Death Rockets!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they sent the goddamn National Guard after us!! I WANT OUT!!! HE WANTS OUT!!! I'm about to lose my sanity here!!" Keith panicked,
"Calm down, Mr. Terrell. A jet is preparing to leave here to pick you two up. I think it should be there at Viridian City around 11:30 the next day."
"WHOOOOOO-HOOOO!!!! WE'RE HOME FREE!!!" Keith yelled out and started to do cart wheels in the middle of the street. He and Ash were getting the hell out of there. But, one thing was nagging art him. "Uh... one more thing, Boss." Keith said,
"Yes, Mr. Terrell?" Mr. Montezemolo asked,
"Put Michael on the phone." Keith answered,
"Why? If I may ask?" The boss asked, then Michael snatched the phone from Mr. Montezemolo.
"Let me have it! I want to yell at him!!! Yeah, Terrell?" Michael asked,
"YOU WILL OWE ME BIG AFTER THIS, SCHUMI!!!! REMEMBER THAT!!! I ALMOST GOT KILLED!!! I WANT REDEMPION YOU GERMAN SON OF A BITCH!!!" Keith yelled into the cell phone and hung up. Michael dropped the phone and yelled out.
"AHH!! Damn American!!! I'll kill him for that!!! Doesn't he know who I am?!!" Michael yelled out as he made his way out of the room, yelling out swears in German. 3 minutes later, the phone rang again and Rubens picked it up.
"Hello? Oh, it's you Mr. Andersson. Yes, sir. Keith just called us and said that Ash is perfectly fine and still alive. Yes, we have a jet prepared to go them him. He should be back in time for the Belgium GP." Rubens said and hung up,
"Who was it?" Mr. Montezemolo asked,
"It was Ove Andersson, the Toyota boss. He and the rest of the team were wondering about Ash." Rubens answered,
"If I was him, I would be worried too. At least Keith knows we're coming for him and the kid. Let's get back to work and get the cars ready for Belgium." The Boss said and the two left the room.

Nighttime has fallen in Pallet Town and Ash was showing some of his past F1 races to everybody. He was even doing his own commentary, telling them what he went through in each race. Keith was making fun of Ash because he usually exaggerates the truth about what he really did. As for Brock and Suzie, the two were still outside.
"And I passed Juan Montoya to take the lead of the Grand Prix Of Britain." Ash said as he showed everyone his pass on the Williams BMW driver,
"Only to blow your engine seconds after that." Meowth said and right on cue, the V10 engine in Ash's car done blowed up.
"And taking me and both Jordan drivers with you." Keith said as the Ferrari and both Jordan cars crash because of the oil,
"But, that did more up my teammate Allan McNish to 1st place and the win." Ash said,
"After Montoya ran over a piece of my Ferrari, punctured a hole in his tires, ripped off his front wing and pitted." Keith said,
"And 2nd place driver Ralf Schumacher tried to hit you and crashed into Kimi Raikkonen." Meowth added,
"Hey, give me a break!! I'm trying to do a show here!!" Ash said,
"I was lost after Ash passed that... Montoya guy." Duplica added,
"Um... are Suzie and Brock still outside? How long have they been out there?" Delia asked, looking outside to see the two Breeders still talking.
"Don't know. I was too busy seeing that Heidfeld guy go nuts with the champagne." Lorelei said as she watched the presentation where Nick Heidfeld drench race winner Allan McNish with champagne,
"Man, I need to get out all of this energy I have. What I wouldn't give for a PlayStation 2." Zane said as he got up from his seat and stretched,
"You mean this thing?" Keith asked as he left the house and head to his car, coming back with a PlayStation 2, two controllers, games and a flat screen TV.
"Yeah. Where did you get all of these?" Zane asked,
"I always take my PlayStation 2 with me. I got Grand Theft Auto Vice City." Keith answered as he showed him the most controversial game in history,
"Really?!! HOOK IT UP!!! I WANT TO KILL PEOPLE!!!" Zane said cheerfully and the two went into a room to prepare to break the law.
"Damn. I wanted to show Keith the 2004 United States Grand Prix and see if he has really bad flashbacks about losing that race." Ash said as he took out the DVD disc and put in a DVD disc with one of his earlier races in the player,
"Is Keith always that crazy around video games?" Lorelei asked,
"He's not a hardcore gamer. In fact, he, Riley, Francois and Ronin always have GTA Vice City nights. Those four just play games all night after the Grand Prix was run." Ash said and all of a sudden, they all heard Keith shout out, "You blew them up!! YEAH!!!"
"Um... well, Ash. What race is next?" Delia asked,
"The Grand Prix of San Marino, the race I should have won if it wasn't for David Coulthard!!!" Ash said,
"Ash hit David Coulthard out of his way with 5 laps to go!!! He was penalized 30 seconds!!! Montoya won that race!!!" Keith yelled out from the other room,
"Shut up, Terrell!!!" Ash yelled back. Back on the hill, Brock finally told Suzie about what happened to him with the two girls breaking his heart and the real reason he ran away from her.
"So, you're afraid that I might break your heart if we got together? Is that why you and Keith took that drive and got attacked?" Suzie asked,
"Yes. The pain is still too much for me to handle. I'm just afraid of being with someone right now. Maybe in a few years, I can deal with heartbreaks." Brock answered,
"Are you too afraid to be with me?" Suzie asked, hoping that Brock won't run away from her again.
"I don't know. I want to, but... I can't deal with that happening to me again. I'm still worried about something happening to both of us." All of a sudden, the couple heard both Keith and Zane cheer loudly as Keith blew away some cops in GTA Vice City,
"Well... we could take it one day at a time." Suzie said,
"I would like that. I just don't want all this to happen again." Brock said,
"Don't worry, Brock. It won't. I promise. I've been dreaming for a long time of being with you." Suzie said as she placed her head on Brock's shoulder. The only thing that matters for Brock is finally having a girl who will never break his heart. Ever again.

It was around 9 A.M. the next morning at the Ketchum household in Pallet and Keith and Zane were finally sleeping peacefully after their all night PlayStation 2 fest. when the two were drenched with Water Gun, courtesy Ash's Feraligatr.
"COLD!!! AHHH!! Son of a bitch!!! Water in my ear!" Zane yelled out as he jumped in the air in pure shock and shook his head to get the water out of his ears. Keith woke up and started having flashbacks of the 2004 U.S. Grand Prix in which he was ordered to pull over for Rubens, didn't and lost the race to Eddie Irvine's Jaguar.
"NO!!!!! Irvine passed me!!!!! Get out of my way Rubens!!! IRVINE!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Keith yelled out and was brought back to reality with a swift whack to the back of his head from his head by Ash's hand.
"Damn. You do have flashbacks that are worse than World War II flashbacks. No wonder Michael said you were crazy." Ash said as he recalled Feraligatr into his Poké Ball,
"What time is it?" Keith asked, rubbing the back of his head, which is now hurting real bad.
"9:21 A.M." Ash answered,
"Keith. Remind me never to challenge you to Gran Turismo 3." Zane said as he finally got the water out his ears and stood up,
"That's what you get for playing against an F1 driver." Keith said as he finally got back on his feet,
"Come on, you two. Mom almost has breakfast ready. And she made a lot, since you and I are heading to Belgium and back to the F1 circus." Ash said as the three walked inside the house for some food. Delia was busy making all kinds of stuff when she turned around.
"Good morning, you two... what the hell happened to you two?" Delia asked, looking at the two tired and soaking wet guys.
"Um... Keith and I played Gran Turismo 3 all night. I almost beat him in that last race." Zane said,
"Up yours!!! I beat you 400 times and you cried foul after every loss!!" Keith said,
"Both of you, be quiet and sit down." Delia ordered and Keith and Zane shut up and sat down without any backtalk. Minutes later, everybody was in the kitchen enjoying one of Delia's giant breakfast buffets.
"Mrs. Ketchum, these are the best waffles I have ever had in my life!!! My grandparents would be put to shame if they were still here." Keith said as he finished off another waffle,
"Yes, I haven't had this great of a breakfast since I was a little girl. I may want more after this. And I'm not a big fan of breakfast." Suzie said,
"Damn, Ash. Your Mom knows how to cook!!! Best food I have ever had!!" Duplica agreed,
"Oh, thank you very much. I always make sure that everybody likes my cooking." Delia said as she tried to hide her embarrassment. All this complementing from Ash's friends was making her feel a bit on the spot.
"Now I know why Ash has finished 4 of those pancakes. And now he's starting on his 3rd waffle. There's nothing like good old home cooked goodness." Keith said as Ash took another waffle from the plate,
"So, Ash. What's it like being inside a F1 car?" Richie asked,
"Well, you're stuffed inside a very strong fiberglass cocoon with a V10 engine right behind you, reclined in the chassis for maximum comfort." Ash said,
"And you can go 0-60 in less than two seconds. The force of the accelerator just pushes your body into the car. And don't get me started about how your body reacts to braking from 170 MPH to 40 in just mere seconds." Keith added,
"Amazing. You guys must have to be in great shape to be able to drive those cars with all these forces just beating on you all the time." Lorelei said,
"To tell you the truth, I crashed my first time inside a car because I wasn't used to the G-force effects at all. I had to start from square one to get where I am right now. I could drive an F1 car for over 3 hours and not get tired." Ash said,
[If Ash asked me to join him for a spin in his car, I wouldn't even get inside. I would be hanging on for dear life.] Pikachu said,
"Pikachu said he would not want to ride with me. He would be hanging on for dear life if he did." Ash said, translating for Pikachu.
"I don't blame Pikachu. Just keep me in the pits. That is where I belong." Meowth added,
"Oh, yeah. I think I remember Rubens saying how many Ferraris you destroyed while learning to drive. You even crashed Michael's favorite F1 car. His Ferrari F2000. Michael almost killed you for that." Keith said,
"Hey, I was learning!!" Ash said, trying to defend himself.
"And since F1 cars cost almost $1 Million bucks to build, and you totaled 16... that means Ferrari lost $16 Million dollars because of you." Keith said,
"Tell me about it. When you crashed Michael's car, he almost killed you three times. Lucky for you, I used Fury Swipes on him." Meowth said,
"Well, Michael made a lot of that back when he and Rubens had that giant Ferrari auction where people bid lots of cash on those broken cars and parts. The money went for a lot of charities that Ferrari supports." Ash said,
"$16 Million big ones of broken Formula One cars? I bet those guys at that team Keith drives for must have went into therapy for a long time." Richie said,
"$16 Million dollars. You know what I could do with that cash?" Brock asked,
"I could open tons of Pokémon Breeder shops all over the place with that kind of cash!! I could be a Pokémon breeding legend!!!" Zane said,
"I second that motion." Brock added,
"Um... pass the waffles, please?" Duplica asked as Suzie handed her some waffles.

Inside Team Rocket HQ, some guys in the communications room was listening into some transmissions from the Viridian City Airport. They were homing in on the Ferrari jet, which was one hour from landing at Viridian City.
"This is the control tower. We have you on our long-range radar. You will be in range in over an hour. Do you copy, over?" The control person asked,
"We copy, tower. Just give us some real estate to park until our cargo has arrived, over." The Ferrari jet pilot answered,
"Roger on the real estate request. We have a place selected for you to wait until your cargo has arrived. We expect you in the hour, over." The control person said,
"Understood. Plus, request refuel upon touchdown at the picked real estate. We have about an hour and a half of go-go juice here, over." The pilot said,
"Request for refuel upon touchdown confirmed. See you in the hour, over." The control person said,
"Roger that, over and out." The pilot said and cut contact. The rockets smiled slightly and one of them picked up a phone to contact Giovanni, who was busy with Jessie and James. Inside Giovanni's office, the phone rang.
"What now, you... you have just received word that the jet coming to pick up Ketchum and Terrell is one hour away? Excellent!!! Just keep monitoring the jet's progress. I will get back to you after my meeting." Giovanni said and hung up. He turned his attention to Jessie and James. "Seems like you got your wish of getting revenge on Ketchum and Meowth. Their jet is on route to the Viridian City Airport. I want the two of you to head the ambush at the airport when either Terrell of Ketchum get there." Giovanni said,
"Understood, sir. There's nothing more I like than getting my hands on that brat and Meowth." Jessie said,
"If you like, boss. We could get that traitor Mewoth, also. I've been itching to have another go with that feline." James said,
"I'll let you handle Meowth any way you want. I just want Terrell and Ketchum dead. Only then, will my plan to take over the United States commence. Dismissed." Giovanni said and the two exited the office. He stood up and looked out of a giant window overlooking the forest that Team Rocket HQ was hidden. "Keith Terrell, you're done for, my friend. You won't live through this next offensive." Giovanni said to himself before getting to work orchestrating the giant ambush at the Airport. Meanwhile in the Ferrari jet, the pilot entered a cabin and five men were inside reading F1 magazines and listening to music.
"We should be there in an hour, you guys. When we do land, just wait inside here until Team Rocket starts to attack. Mr. Montezemolo has a bad feeling that Ash and Keith might be attacked when leaving. We also have a bad feeling that Team Rocket might be tapping into our talks with the control tower." The pilot said,
"So, basically... be ready for anything." The first guy said, his voice sounded like he was Canadian.
"I can't wait for those Rockets to attack again!! I can dish out more punishment to those bastards!!!" The second guy said, he sounded like he was a native of Australia.
"Be careful what you wish for. You might just get attacked by tons of Team Rocket guys." The third guy said, this guy sounded like he was from Malaysia.
"You should be more concerned about Team Rocket's Pokémon. We're at a disadvantage since Ash and Keith are the only two of us who have Pokémon." The fourth guy added. He has a British accent in his voice.
"Anyway, if we are to get out of there with our lives, we have to go on the offensive. Just like what we did back in 2003." The fifth guy said, his voice had a heavy Russian accent to it.
"Well, we'll have plenty of time to attack Team Rocket. You five just keep them at bay while we load the cars into the jet." The pilot said before heading back to the cockpit,
"Easy for you to say!! You just have to load the cars. We have to fight!!" The second guy yelled back at the pilot.

With about one hour left before the jet is to arrive in Viridian City, Ash and Keith packed their stuff and were about to say goodbye to the others.
"Ash, please be careful. I don't know what I would do if you were ever injured in one of those cars of yours." Delia said with some concern in her voice,
"Don't worry about me, Mom. I'll be fine. F1 has a great medical team." Ash said,
"And, Pikachu and I will keep and eye on him like we have been doing for years." Meowth said,
[Ditto on what Meowth said.] Pikachu added,
"Thanks, you two. And Keith... don't beat up everybody you see all the time." Delia said,
"I can't help it, Mrs. Ketchum!! They tried to kill ME!!! I'm just acting on self-defense." Keith said,
"You call self-defense running over everybody in that car of yours?" Duplica asked,
"Yup." Keith said with a giant smirk on his face,
"But, why would you wanna screw up a nice car like that?" Richie asked,
"Because it is really effective in hurting people." Keith answered,
"Well, Ash. Looks like its time to say goodbye once again. At least we're doing it the right way unlike last time. Take care of yourself. Think you could win a race for us sometime soon?" Brock asked,
"I'll try, Brock. I just hope the Toyota guys finished the new engine for Belgium. I need some more speed in my car." Ash said. Off to the side, Keith and Lorelei were just looking away at each other, trying to figure out what to say.
"Well... Lorelei, I... um... " Keith tried to think of something to say to her, but it wasn't working very well. Saying goodbye to a new friend was something he wasn't really good at. Lorelei was thinking of something to say to him also. Deep down, she wished he didn't have to go back to Formula One and would just stay with her for a while longer. All of a sudden, Lorelei handed Keith some pictures of her and a blank card that had a small message on it.
"Here. Um... if you ever get lonely during your races, just give me a call. Just something to remember me by, that's all." Lorelei said, she was blushing a little bit and Keith was a bit shocked because he has her phone number. He realized that he doesn't have anything to give her at all. All of a sudden, one of Keith's Poké Balls started to jiggle around and Keith took it out. The Poké Ball opened and Suicune appeared once again.
[Well, hello people. Ooh, what do you have here, boss?] Suicune asked as he looked at Lorelei's pictures,
"Suicune, stop that!" Keith said,
[Hey, you should give her something too!!! It's only fair. I know!!] Suicune said and looked in the back of the Ferrari behind the passenger seat. Seconds later, Suicune came back with one of Keith's podium finish trophies in its mouth. He instantly recognized the one Suicune had. [Give her this! You have the original one at home!! This was the copy you asked for.] Suicune said as he handed Keith the Italy GP winner's cup,
"My 2004 Italian Grand Prix winner's trophy!!!" Keith said as he looked at his most prized possession. That trophy was his favorite out of all of the ones he received from his 12 Podium finishes. Michael Schumacher gave him that after Keith drove his heart out in that race. When Rubens went out earlier, Keith stepped up to the plate and raced hard against Montoya and Panis in what the Tifosi called the best Italian Grand Prix ever. "Here. It's only fair that I give you something to remind you of me." Keith said as he handed her the trophy,
"It's so large!! Is this what you guys get when you win?" Lorelei asked as she looked at the huge piece of hardware in her arms. It looked like it was sculpted with the best crystals and rare metals that money can buy. Many drivers would die for a chance to get one of those in their trophy case.
"Yeah. It's the real thing. The 2nd and 3rd place guys get a smaller version of the winner's trophy." Ash said,
"Keith... I don't know what to say. Thank you." Lorelei said. This made Keith blush a little bit and Suicune kept heckling him about it. Ash now turned his attention to Richie and Duplica. They all met just yesterday, now Ash has to say goodbye to them again. Just like what happened when he and Pikachu were on their Pokémon Journey.
"Duplica. Richie. I just met you guys again yesterday. Now, I have to say goodbye yet again." Ash said sadly,
"I know, Ash. But, look on the bright side. Now that all F1 drivers aren't such bad guys after all, I might go see a race one of these days. On the other hand, we'll see each other again down the road of life. I know it." Richie said and he and Ash hi-fived each other like old times,
"I don't know what to say. Take care and give them a giant headache when you get back, Ashy-boy." Duplica said and Ash started to blush like Keith,
"Don't call me that!!" Ash said embarrassed,
"What's wrong, cutie? Don't you like it when I call you Ashy-boy?" Duplica said playfully, she was now trying to flirt with Ash.
"Hey, Ash. Now you know how I feel!!" Keith said. Then, his watch alarm started to go off. It was now time to go and Ash knew it. He turned to his Mother, who was already fighting back some tears from her eyes. Ash and Delia shared one final mother/son hug before sending him off to race.
"Be careful, Ash. I love you." Delia said,
"I love you too, Mom." Ash said and they hugged once more before Delia let him go. Ash and Keith walked to their cars, along with Pikachu, Suicune and Meowth. Everybody was now saying goodbye and Ash waved back and Keith gave them all the thumbs up. The two started their powerful cars and sped out of Pallet. Seconds later, they were gone.
"I just pray that nothing bad happens to those two." Brock said,
"Same here." Everyone agreed.

Just 4 miles in Viridian City, Police Officers from all over Kanto and Johto were gathering near the Airport for one reason. Stop Ash Ketchum and Keith Terrell. Well over 200 officers were present for the biggest police operation in history. As for Team Rocket, they were already at the Airport hiding from the cops. All parties kept themselves near radios to hear of anybody has spotted Ash and or Keith. As for the two, they weren't racing for the Airport, but just taking their time driving down the streets. They passed a Pokémon Center where a Team Rocket member was hiding in the bushes.
"Pay dirt. Heads up, Rockets. Terrell and Ketchum are on their way. Get ready for the ambush." The Rocket said into the radio. At the same time, one of the Viridian City Jennys spotted the two F1 drivers and called to the group to ambush them as well. Both Ash and Keith were nervous as hell, thinking that they were gonna be jumped by anybody at anytime.
"I don't like this, Keith. It's too quiet." Ash said. He was talking to Keith on his cell phone.
"I know, Ash. Be on the alert." Keith said. As the two entered the center of Viridian City, it happened. 100 Police Officers with guns drawn quickly surrounded them with their cars.
"FUCK!!!" Both Ash and Keith yelled out. They were caught with their pants around their ankles.
"We'll give you two one warning!! Come out of the cars with your hands up and we'll go easy on you!! If you resist, we will not hesitate to fire on you!!!" One officer said into a loudspeaker. Ash looked at Keith for a plan, instead Keith turned off his Ferrari's engine and took the keys out of the ignition. Ash saw the look in Keith's eyes. It was over. They weren't going to go back home. Ash too shut the Toyota's engine off. But, as he took the keys out of the ignition, Team Rocket arrived with well over 300 members, ready to tear Ash and Keith limb from limb!!!
"Oh, no! This has gone from bad to worse!!!" Meowth said,
[ What will we do now, Ash?] Pikachu asked,
"I don't know, Pikachu. I just don't know." Ash said worried,
All this just to get me? I am now convinced that Ash and I will not get out of Kanto alive!! Keith thought to himself as it looks like both the Police and Team Rocket were together for one cause. Get Ash and Keith.
"Giovanni. We have cornered both Ketchum and Terrell." One Rocket said into a cell phone,
"Well done!! I want them alive and take their Pokémon!!! But, bring Terrell to me. I want to kill him myself!" Giovanni ordered,
"Your wish my command, sir." The Rocket said. Then, he motioned to some officers to drag the two out of their cars. The situation was getting worse by the minute. Is this the end of Ash Ketchum and Keith Terrell?!!!!

Yup. Team Rocket has struck back. And this time, the whole Kanto Police force is focused on getting Ash and Keith as well!!!
