Keith and Ash have now been ambushed by a more powerful, determined and really pissed off Team Rocket and over 200 Police Officers near the Viridian City Airport!!! And this chapter has a big high-speed chase scene that makes other car chase scenes look like they are running in slow motion!!! It's so good, this scene might make the famous chase scene in "Bullitt" with Steve McQueen look like nothing!!! Expect Ash and Keith to reach speeds of well over 150 MPH with their cars. Though a Ferrari 550 Maranello reaches speeds of under 200 MPH. ENJOY!!!!

Chapter 15: Escape From Kanto, Steve McQueen Style!!
The Ferrari jet touched down at the Airport and was taken to a place near the loading dock. The people got to work refueling the jet and one of them was talking to the pilots about the police in the area.
"Well, rumor has it that two F1 drivers are here in Kanto. The police want to get their hands on those two for what they did to us in 2003." The guy said,
"Really? No shit. They must be like FBI most wanted type guys." The co-pilot said,
"Almost. They nearly took over all of Kanto and Johto before backing off. I don't want another invasion to happen." The guy said,
"I hope it doesn't happen to you also." The pilot said and the guy headed for the refueling rig. The pilot left the cockpit to tell the passengers about the police. "Seems like Ash and Keith are going to have a lot of resistance against them." The pilot said,
"And there's nothing we can do about it. I just hope Ash and Keith have the guts to face off against over 200 female police officers in short skirts." The Australian guy said,
"Same here." The Canadian guy said,
"Ditto on that." The Malaysian guy added. Back at the center of Viridian City, Ash and Keith were now more worried as ever.
"What do we do now, Keith?" Ash asked,
"We're dead. Plain and simple." Keith answered. The officers made their way to Keith's car first. When they got to the driver's door of the Ferrari, one of them panicked greatly and ran for cover. Soon the other officers ran for cover as well. Shortly, there was wide spread fear. Keith lowered his window to see what was going on.
"He's got a nuclear device in his car!! And it's ready to blow!!!" One of the Officers yelled out. Ash and his Pokémon were bewildered on the strange luck that has fallen their way. Keith looked in the back of his Ferrari and the nuclear device that was there was actually a flash bomb with a radiation decal on it.
"These people are stupider than I thought!!" Keith said as he tried not to laugh. This was the giant break he and Ash needed. Keith took the bomb and exited the car. "That's right!!! I got a nuke!!! And I'm willing to use it and blow this place to kingdom come!!!! This place will be like Hiroshima in a matter of minutes!!!" Keith yelled out, trying to scare the police and Team Rocket away. It was working as a lot of people became scared and ran for their lives. Ash was wondering what the hell was going on, but then he saw that Keith was covering up a United States military logo on the flash bomb. He was just showing people the radiation sign.
"OH!! Keith has a flash bomb that looks like a nuke." Ash said,
"What luck!! We may get out of here yet!!!" Meowth said,
[If we see a clear path, take it!!] Pikachu said,
"Understood, Pikachu." Ash said as he got the keys back in the ignition. All of a sudden, a clear path opened up right in front of them. Keith saw it also and tossed the flash bomb in the air. Everybody ran for their lives as Ash started his Supra and sped away. Keith detonated the flash bomb and everything was covered in the blinding light. Keith ran into his 550 Maranello, started it up and got the hell out of the death trap!! Seconds later, the police were hot on their tails. Team Rocket were still trying to see clearly when one of the group leaders yelled out in frustration.
"You idiots!! Get those two bastards!!! NOW!!!" The Rockets ran to their vehicles in hope that they can catch up with the two F1 drivers. Keith was well behind Ash, who was almost a mile ahead of the Ferrari driver due to his head start. Then, Keith looked in the rear view mirror and spotted 10 police cars closing in with lights and sirens blaring.
"Let's see what they got under the hood." Keith said and put the pedal to the metal. His 550 Maranello took off thanks to the V12 engine and lost sight of the pursuing cops. He spotted a highway on-ramp, which leads to the Airport around 25 miles away. If he did, Keith would have a clear shot to freedom all thanks to being an F1 driver.

Ash was doing 140 MPH in a 35 zone and approaching the Viridian Forest. He hit the breaks and turned around, only to see a souped up Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R with the Team Rocket logo on it right in front of the Supra. Ash got a good look at the driver and the passenger. It was Butch and Cassidy and she was doing the driving. Butch was still wearing that cast when Keith broke his arm just days ago.
"I told you Ketchum was driving a Toyota Supra. Even if that is a new version, it still can't outrun this beast that I enhanced myself." Cassidy said as she looked at Ash's Supra with a cold stare,
"Well, Cassidy. You're right for once. Think you can catch him?" Butch asked in that oh so irritating raspy voice of his,
"Oh, shit. Meowth, Pikachu... hold on!!! I'm gonna try to outrun a Nissan Skyline!" Ash said as he put the sports car in reverse and raced back into Viridian City. Both Meowth and Pikachu hid in the back until it was safe.
Dammit, looks like Team Rocket have got themselves some sports cars of their own. And there's no way I can outrun a 4 wheel drive Skyline. Not even in my wildest dreams! Ash thought as he sped down the highway and got mentally ready to be the chased instead of the chaser.

"He can't outrun us! Let's get him!!" Butch said as Cassidy started up the Skyline and was now in hot pursuit of Ash down the highway. Every time the Nissan got close to Ash, he would use some of his F1 driving skills to shake them off for a few seconds. Down the road, the police were setting up a roadblock and laid down spike strips in an effort to slow down Ash. Ash saw the police and the spike strips on the road and turned onto a different street.
"Oh, no. I'm not falling for the spike strip again. I still remember the time I hit those weeks ago!!" Ash said as he looked in the rear view mirror and saw the Skyline just miss the spike strips and was still hot on his tail. The police officers regrouped and were in hot pursuit of Ash.
"Captain!! Ketchum has avoided the trap!! And he's got a white Nissan Skyline with a giant "R" on its hood right behind him!!" One officer radioed back to HQ,
"That could be a Team Rocket car. Just keep following Ketchum and the Skyline. Celadon, Pewter, Cherrygrove and New Bark all have surprises waiting for Mr. Ketchum." The person radioed back as the cops continued the chase.

Keith was weaving his way in and out of traffic on an interstate heading for the airport. The other drivers on the highway kept on cutting Keith off every time he made a pass. This was helping the police catch up as the drivers who cut Keith off, just gave way. Keith almost lost control as he slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting an SUV. And it was really pissing him off.
"I won't be denied!!!" Keith yelled out as he made yet another pass on the SUV on the left side. When it started to move, Keith slammed on the brakes and then used the Ferrari's torque to power his way through on the right side. The driver of the SUV didn't have enough time to react and Keith passed. "Special delivery." Keith yelled as he rolled down the window and tossed out a bag of drywall nails. Nails strong enough to pop and destroy a run flat tire. Seconds later, the sounds of exploding tires, brakes slamming and cars crashing into each other. The end result was a 21-car pileup. Little did Keith know that just a few miles down the road, somebody will have a giant surprise waiting for him.

"Damn, this kid is good!!!" Cassidy said angrily as she barely missed crashing the Skyline into another car,
"What do you think, Cass? Ketchum's an F1 driver!! They always drive like psychopaths!" Butch said as Cassidy tried to hit Ash's car from behind, but Ash dove right between two cars. All Cassidy could do was slam on the brakes and force an opening to catch up to Ash, who was making good use of the turbo engine.
"We got away from them for now. We have to find a way to the airport and fast." Meowth said as he kept his face glued to the back windshield,
"GOOD!!! Move it, damn soccer moms!!" Ash yelled out as he passed some slow moving cars and sped into a right hand turn at 70 MPH. It wasn't long before he spotted the Team Rocket Skyline in his rear view mirror, closing in fast. Ash now resorted to speeding on sidewalks to get away. People and their Pokémon ran for their lives as Ash barreled down the sidewalk and turned onto a street that was heading for Indigo Plateau and away from the airport. Each time Ash was on the right road to the airport, somebody chased him the wrong way.

About 1 mile up the interstate, a group of Officer Jennys from Lavender Town, Viridian City, Vermilion City, Cerulean City and Fuchsia City were gathered next to a Saffron City Jenny, who actually had a brand new McLaren F1 supercar locked away in police storage. After the F1 guys attacked all of Kanto and Johto, several Jennys raided a Team Rocket warehouse that Rubens Barrichello, Giancarlo Fisichella and Eddie Irvine cleaned out. Inside were a lot of exotic sports cars. Most of them would offer Keith and his Ferrari a run for his money.
"I don't think this is a good idea, Jenny. This Terrell guy is a professional. Even with that car we seized from Team Rocket back in 2003, you still wouldn't be able to keep up with him. You could even die if you make one mistake and crash!!" The Cerulean City Jenny said. This Jenny was 6 years older than the others there, so she made all the decisions.
"I did my homework after I found this. That 550 Maranello only has a top speed of 200 MPH. This car has a top speed of 231 MPH, all thanks to that 600 HP, V12 engine and a lot of stuff that was in a McLaren F1 car. I'll catch him!" The Saffron Jenny said as she opened the door and was about to get in,
"Jenny!! I will not let you go after that bastard in that car!! No Jenny has ever gone faster than 160 MPH after the accident with your mother in that Viper back in 2002!!" The older Jenny said sternly,
"I will do anything to get him!! Even if I lose my life, I will get him! My mother knew the risks and so do I!!!" All of a sudden, Keith's Ferrari sped past and Saffron Jenny started the powerful car to life. "Well, then. I'll see you in hell!! Terrell's mine!!" She yelled out to the others, closed the door and hit the gas. The tires lit up with smoke and the engine noise was deafening. The McLaren F1 went from 0-60 in less than 3 seconds and Saffron Jenny was now closing in on Keith.
"Thinks she has a chance of getting him?" The Vermilion Jenny asked,
"I would be so fucking shocked if she actually stayed on his tail, chased him into the airport and chased him on the runways with that demon of a car. If she gets him, I'm going to kiss her." The Cerulean City Jenny answered. It was seconds later that Keith saw the car in his rear view mirror.
"Oh, god lady luck!!! Don't fail me now!!! I've got a McLaren F1 hot on my ass!!" Keith yelled out and shifted into 6th gear and trying to figure out a way to lose the fastest production car in sports car history.

Back in Viridian City, Ash still had Butch and Cassidy behind him. Ash didn't want to admit it, but Cassidy is a pretty good driver for being able to stay with Ash for miles. He knew he had to focus on the road instead of the rear view mirror. If he did, he would have seen a police car use the pit maneuver on the Skyline and spinning it out.
"I didn't see that damn cop behind me!!! Come on, start you piece of crap!!!" Cassidy yelled out as she tried to get the Skyline restarted, but the engine overheated and needed to be cooled down.
"Now, why did the cops take us out? I thought they wanted Ketchum." Butch asked,
"Maybe the cops want him all to themselves. Those Jennys are so unpredictable." Cassidy said as the engine cooled down and she started the car back up and find Ash. Meowth looked outside and didn't see the Skyline behind them anymore.
"YEAH!! We lost them, twerp!!! Good driving!!" Meowth said when he didn't see the Skyline,
"Don't count your Pokémon eggs until they're hatched, Meowth. I got a bad feeling that the cops are going to ambush me." Ash said as he turned onto a highway that will lead them near the airport. All of a sudden, a police car came out of nowhere and did the pit maneuver on the Supra. Ash didn't even see the cop car until the car spun out and the engine stopped. Before Ash even got the car restarted, the door opened and somebody dragged out of the car. When Ash tried to see who it was that got him out of the car, the perp used a scissors kick right on Ash's head to put him to the ground hard. Ash groaned in pain as he got back to his feet and saw who attacked him. Right in front of him were 8 Officer Jennys, all ready to open up a giant can of whoop ass.
"Well, hello Mr. Ketchum. It's too bad your Formula One buddies aren't here to save you. I wanted to get my hands on Ralf Schumacher." One Officer Jenny said as she cracked her knuckles anticipating a battle,
"Hey, I'm beating up Ralf!! That son of a bitch almost tried to kill me. Just like what I am about to do to... YOU!!!!" Ash charged at the Jenny in front of him and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick, knocking the Officer right into the others. The fight was on.

Just 8 miles from the airport, Saffron City's Officer Jenny in a McLaren F1 was now playing who wants to be in front of the other with Keith's Ferrari. Every time Keith was behind Jenny, he would power his way to the front by using the draft of the powerful sports car. Officer Jenny would do the same thing and force Keith to pull over. Keith was praying on using his F1 experience to lose the Officer, but that McLaren F1 was tough to lose with a 231 MPH top speed.
Damn, he's good. I can't even get in front of him. Jenny thought as she tried to make another pass on Keith, but he slammed the door causing her to let up off the gas for a second. This duel has been going on for miles and both Keith and Jenny were not making mistakes.
"She's pretty good in that McLaren F1. When I see Ron Dennis, I'm going to kill him for making that car!! That cop is making good use of that car." Keith said to himself as he dove to the outside lanes to miss a few police cars trying to slow him up. He then dove back to the shoulder to miss some slower cars. All Jenny had to do is stay behind Terrell as he plowed a way for her. A series of slow turns was coming up. The highway they were racing on was going through the Viridian Forest. After 3 miles of forest, the airport itself is just a stone throw away. With the slow turns ahead, Keith made his move. He slowed down to the right speed while making the turn hitting the apex perfectly for that burst out of the corner. Officer Jenny on the other hand had to slow down a lot and didn't get as much speed off the corners, because she's not used to driving a McLaren and didn't know jack shit about racing.
"DAMMIT!!! What I wouldn't give for a long piece of straight road!!! I'm losing him!" Jenny said angrily as she lost more ground to Keith and his Ferrari. As soon as Keith made the final apex exit of the last corner, he floored the gas and took off while Jenny was still in the final turns.
"I'm home free!!!" Keith yelled out cheerfully as he closing in on the airport. But in front of him, a Jenny from Pewter City was waiting for him and she was driving another powerful super car from the Ferrari family. A Ferrari F40!!!

Back at the ambush, Ash was using all of his fighting moves he knows to fend off 8 Officer Jennys from different cities. He has only knocked the Cherrygrove Jenny out and was trying to outwit the New Bark Town and Pewter City Jennys. After the Formula One drivers left Kanto and Johto in a mess, they were all afraid of retaliation by Team Rocket. So, the FIA ordered the teams and drivers to learn all kinds of fighting moves, fighting styles, train with hand weapons and carry guns in order to defend themselves in case of a Team Rocket attack. Ash actually trained with Michael and Rubens during his first full season with Renault and has used his size and Pokémon to his advantage.
"Dammit!! How did you ladies get so much faster and know all of these fighting moves?!!" Ash asked as he dodged many punches and kicks from 3 Jennys, who surrounded him and tried to take him down. One Jenny threw a punch, but Ash caught her arm and did an armbreaker on her. The officer yelled out in pain and fell to the pavement.
"Simple. After your F1 friends left, we started training in hand to hand combat and use numbers to our advantage." The Pewter Jenny said as she tried hitting Ash with a high kick, but Ash dodged that one.
"Take out one of us, another will take her place. And so on." Another Pewter Jenny added as she snuck behind Ash to grab him. Ash just ran backwards to a wall and used his body and the wall to sandwich the officer, letting go of him. He leaped onto the hood of a car and jumped off to avoid two Celadon Jennys from nabbing him.
"Damn!! We did the same... AAAHHHHH!!!" Ash yelled out as a New Bark Town Jenny nailed Ash in the back of the head with a nightstick. As soon as Ash was defenseless, the Jennys tackled him to the pavement and started beating him down with kicks and nightsticks.
[That's it!! I'm helping Ash!!] Pikachu said as the mouse Pokémon jumped out of the car,
"Pikachu, get back in here!!! Ash can take care of himself." Meowth yelled out, but Pikachu's mind was made up. Ash finally got away from the beating, after punching a Jenny right in the stomach and a sweeping kick to take all of the Officers off their feet and fall to the ground. Ash was already bleeding from the attack and he was favoring his right arm a bit. 5 Jennys were still in the fight and Ash needed a miracle to get out of this jam. Lucky for him, that miracle was Pikachu.
[Leave Ash alone before I shock you all to death!!] Pikachu yelled out as it jumped on top of the Supra,
"What did he say?" One of the Jennys asked,
"PIKACHU!!! Thunder Wave on them!!! NOW!!!" Ash yelled out and Pikachu let loose a powerful electric charge meant to paralyze opponents. The move works well against Pokémon, but it works really great with humans!! They become paralyzed on the spot for over 20 minutes!! The Jennys all yelled out in pain as they found out they couldn't move an inch at all. Ash was immune to Thunder Wave and he just pushed the Officers from him and got back in his car.
"You lucky son of a bitch!!! That Michael Schumacher guy did the same thing to me!!!" The Celadon Jenny yelled out as she and the other officers tried to get up, but couldn't.
"I'll tell him you said hi!! And don't worry. You all will be getting back up in about 20 minutes. Bye." Ash said as he and Pikachu got back into the car, started it up and took off, only to have another cop car slam right into his side. The impact tipped the Supra on its side and a few more cop cars were ramming hard into the Toyota. All Ash, Pikachu and Meowth could do was hold on.

Keith was so busy with celebrating his win over an Officer Jenny in a McLaren F1, he didn't see another Jenny in a Ferrari F40 waiting to hit him.
"Here he comes... NOW!!!!!" Jenny yelled out as she turned the F40 right at Keith. He saw the car headed right for his car and slammed on the brakes to try to avoid her. It was too late as The Ferrari F40's left front slammed into the 550 Maranello's right rear. The 550 started to head for the inside barrier, but Keith tried to correct the car. It was futile because the 550 started to fishtail and spun out. The car slammed right into the outside barrier, damaging the whole right side of the 550 Maranello and most of the front nose. As for Jenny's F40, as soon as the car slammed into Keith's car, it corrected itself and Jenny slowed down to make an arrest. Keith was a bit shaken up, but the engine of the car was still running and no tire damage was seen. The other Jenny in the McLaren F1 was at the scene after slowing down when she saw Keith's spin.
"3 miles left. I gotta take this chance!!!!" Keith said to himself and shifted into 1st gear to get the car out of its predicament. The car's rear wheels spun so much trying to get grip that the momentum actually spun Keith in the right direction and got out of there in a hurry.
"Dammit!! I thought I had him!!!" The Pewter Jenny said as she and Saffron Jenny were closing in on the wrecked Ferrari.
"Hey, Jenny! Where did you get that Ferrari F40?" Saffron Jenny asked,
"The same place where you found that McLaren F1. I just saw it there, begging to be taken. So, I kept it." Pewter Jenny answered,
"That's against police policy!! The others will be so mad at you!!"
"Well, you did the same thing with that thing!! And I always wanted a Ferrari."
"Well, whatever floats your boat, Jenny." Saffron Jenny said as the two officers closed in on the wounded Ferrari.
