Chapter 8: The Halloween Party!

The big day finally arrived; everyone got into their costumes and awaited the 
announcement for them to go to the Dance Hall, where the party was being held.
"I can't wait any longer, I'm going to freak if they don't announce it soon!" 
Jason said as all 4 of them waited in Tony and Mario's room impatiently.

<Attention students- at this time please report to the Dance Hall in a quiet and 
orderly fashion> the announcer lady said.
"That's our q" Mike said.
They rushed to the dance hall hoping to be the first ones there, but to their 
surprise, the "others" were there first!
"Well well well" the leader, Ronny said, "We didn't think you'd show up"
"Well you were wrong cause we're here, and you better not pull another one of 
your pranks to make this well planned party ruined!"
"What if we do?"
"We'll just have to take care of you ourselves," Mike said.
"Oh really?" Jake said. "Go ahead and try!"
"With pleasure…" Mike said as he move towards Jake when suddenly Ms. Elm 
entered the room.
"Well you sure are early!" she said.
"Yup!" Ronny said trying to suck up to the Ms. Elm.
"Well please take your seats and await the rest of the academy to join us!"
"We sure will!" Tony said.
A few minutes passed and the entire Academy was finally at the dance hall 
waiting for the party to start. Each student had to put a number on his or her back 
for the costume contest. The student with the best costume will be the winner and 
will receive a Pokémon pass as a prize. That meant they could skip one of the 8 
battling teachers when they thought it was needed.
As it started, everyone began to dance! Everyone except "the others" Tony has a 
feeling they were up to something.
As Tony, Mario, Mike and Jason started dancing again, Tony saw Ronny 
holding a glass of Fruit Punch, and he wasn't drinking it. He was about to pour it on 
Mayra! Ronny was just about to put it on her when…
"Mayra, watch out!!!" Tony screamed.
Tony managed to save Mayra and himself.
"What's going on here?" Ms Elm said as she came rushing as soon as she heard 
the commotion. 
Ronny quickly put the glass on Tony's hands.
"Tony was about to pour glass on Mayra." Ronny said trying to be a goodie-to-
shoo! "I saw him with my own EARS!"
"Tony, is this true?" Ms Elm asked looking at him furiously.
"No honest!" Tony said.
"He's lying, we saw him!" Jake, Jerry and Mason said.
"No he's not!" Mario said. 
"Yeah, we saw Ronny trying to pour it on Mayra…" Mike said.
"But Tony pushed her to save her from getting wet!" Jason said.
"Is this true, Mayra!"
"Well, I was dancing and all of a sudden I was pushed and then I saw Tony 
hugging me on the floor!"
"You see!" Tony said.
"She's lying!" Mason said.
"!" Ronny said.
"What was that?" Mike said.
"Let's go back to the tape!" Jason said, taking out a handheld tape recorder.
< Shut up, you're going to blow our cover! > The tape said in the voice of Ronny.

< Shut up, you're going to blow our cover! >
"Ronny Pickelnose, you're in big trouble mister, you will not be allowed to finish 
the party, but you will spend the rest of the time in detention hall, you and your 
lying buddies!" Ms. Elm said taking them out the dance hall.
"You'll pay Tony!" Ronny said from afar.
"Thanks for helping me Tony!"
"Aww, it was nothing!" Tony said blushing.
<Attention everyone, I will now announce the winners for the costume contest> 
the guy in the stage said.
Everyone got nervous.
<The winner for the best female costume is Princess Mayra>
"Congratulations Mayra!" Tony said.
"Thanks!" Mayra said.
Everyone went wild!
<And the winner for the best male costume is…>
