A Terri-FIC Story!

Chapter 2: A New Friend

Terri rushed to Whitney house to get the egg as fast as he could.

"Whitney, you got the egg?"

"Yeah, here you go" Whitney said. "Here take this too, you might need it!" she 
said handing him a Pokéball. 

"Thanks!"

"Take care, Terri!"

"I will!" he said waving from a distance.

Terri had rode for more than 2 hours now, and he was kind of tired. He decided 
to take a break, but he was barely in Ilex Forest!

He got out his lunch from his backpack as he tried to figure out how long it 
will take for him to get to new Bark Town in his virtual map.

"3 and a half more hours!" Terri said, "I just hope I can make it before it gets 
dark.

Suddenly he heard a Pokémon whining in pain! Terri knew the Pokémon was injured 
because of his experiences at the Goldenrod City Pokémon Center.

He rushed to the sound the came behind some bushes. It was an injured Houndour!

Terri right away got his first aid kit.

The Houndour knew it was supposed to dislike humans, but he was to hurt to even 
move.

The Houndour growled but Terri didn't care, he just went along and healed him.

Finally he healed him; he had tied a bandage around his injured leg.

Terri decided to go back to his spot, now that he knew the Houndour would be all 
right. As he packed up again to set off, the Houndour came back!

"Shoo Houndour, shoo!"  Terri said to go away but he wouldn't listen.

Houndour just had the little puppy dog eyes that told Terri to take him with 
him.

"Say boy, you wanna come with me?" Terri asked.

[Houndour] Houndour said excited.

"Hey Whitney was right, I would need this Pokéball!" he thought.

He threw the Pokéball at him and he gladly received it!

Terri set off once again. He checked his watch, it was 7:00 pm and quite dark. 
He rode for a couple of minutes till he saw lights in the distance.

He finally saw New Bark Town and a Welcome sign that said "Welcome to New bark 
Town: The town where new winds blow!"
