Tony's Poetic Journey!

The next day, Pidgey woke us up with their beautiful chirping,
A new day was waiting and already approaching.

As we packed up a kid came up and said:
"I challenge you to a battle, do you accept or refuse instead?"

"Wow, my first real battle!" I thought and agreed.
"Does a 2-on-2 sound okay?" "Yes indeed!"


The kid threw a Pokéball and it opened releasing light,
It soon transformed into a green lizard, it was a Treecko all right!

I began to think, "Who should I choose?"
Jet of course, I'm sure we won't loose!

The Treecko came racing with a Quick Attack,
But Jet was faster and Quick Attacked right back!

The attacks collided and I told Jet to Fly,
Treecko tried to reach him but he was too up high!

Jet dived at Treecko with amazing speed,
Treecko dodged it and made Jet crash indeed.

Treecko was fast and we needed a way to slow him down,
We needed to be faster, faster then the speed of sound!

So I ordered Jet to use a powerful Wing Attack,
It hit Treecko head on, throwing him on his back.

Treecko tried to get up, but it was no use,
As much as he tried, he had to loose.

The kid returned his injured Pokémon, and I knew it wasn't the end,
I knew the battle was just beginning, and I know I needed to win!
