Hoping to See You Again Master Yami Cami Disclaimer:: The only thing I own is the story is the story line. Nothing else, expect a few non-important characters. Ash Ketchem: 11 1/16 Misty Waterflowers: 11 1/16 Brock Pewter(I guess that's his last name): 11 1/16 Gary Oak: 11 1/16 "Hi, Ash!" Misty Waterflowers welcomed Ash Ketchem as he sat down at his desk. Ash smiled and exclaimed, "Hi, Misty!". There were only six students in Miss Gill's fifth grade class. Miss Gill was at her desk, writing happily with her rainbow pen. Ash sat on his desk. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray Pokemon shirt, and a pair of Bulbasaur sneakers. His black, pointy hair matched his big, black eyes. Misty wore a tank-top with a bunch of water Pokemon on it, blue shorts, and Horsea shoes. Her orange hair was put up in pig-tails. Her blue eyes sparkled in the beam of light from the sun. Ash and Misty were chatting when their friend, Brock Pewter, walked up and reminded them about the "End-of-the-Year Field Trip/Party" and that it was that day. "Darn it! I forgot it was today." Ash cried. "How could you forget, Ash? Didn't you right it down in your planner or your calendar that's in your binder?" Brock asked. "Uhhhhhhhhhh... no." Ash replied in embarrassment. His face turned bright red. Later on that day, on the bus to Pokemon Tower, where Professor Oak would be talking that day. Ash and Misty were the same seat, Brock was parrel from them, talking to Gary Oak. They were talking about Pokemon. Everyone in the fifth grade knew that Gary was the grandson of Professor Oak. He was famous, kinda. "Hey, Gary! Is it true that a Pikachu can only become a Raichu with the Thunder Stone?" A boy named Sam asked from the seat behind Ash. Ash nodded his head, telling Gary that he wanted to know that, too. "Yeah. If not, then it stays a Pikachu." Gary answered confidently. Sam smiled and thanked Gary. "Darn, Gary, you're real good!" Ash said. "I mean, you must know everything about Pokemon!" Misty finished. Gary just grinned. Every kid on the bus was excited. Brock counted all the kids. "There's forty- seven kids, two teachers, five other adults, and one driver." He had told his three other friends. Ash and Misty were talking about their families. Misty's family ran the gym her city, Cerealin City. Her mom was gym leader, and once in awhile, she and her three sisters got to be gym leaders for a week. Her family's gym was a Water- type gym. That's why Misty loved Water Pokemon so much. Ash's family was in Pallet Town. He lived with his mom, who was on the bus near the front. Pallet Town was a quiet, little town. Gary lived there, too. They played on their game systems, played with Pokemon, hung out, and spent time with each other alot. "Misty, how far is Cerealin City?" Ash asked. He wanted to see Misty during the summer, since it was two days before school was out. "Cerealin City is the next city after Viridian City." Misty explained. "What?!" Ash cried in surprise. Ash was disappointed. He could only visit people in Pallet Town, Pewter City, and Viridian City! At the field trip, Misty, Ash, Brock, and Gary sat next to each other in the front row. They were talking about Pokemon. Then, the Pokemon conversation was only going on between Brock and Gary. Ash and Misty had other plans. "Tomorrow's the last day of school, Misty." Ash reminded her. Misty just nodded. She looked sad. A look of disappointment stayed on her face, as if it were stone. Ash felt sad, too. He had to think of some way to see Misty during the summer break. Little did Ash know, Misty was thinking the same. She would have to somehow... somehow... somehow... Ash and Misty's minds weren't really on what Professor Oak was saying. They were thinking about their own problems... They were thinking about their own problems on the way out... On the bus... Back at school... On their way home... At home, even! Ash layed on his side, still thinking. 'What am I going to do?!' He thought as he turned onto his back. 'The last day of school is tomorrow! I want to see Misty again... but I can't go to Cerealin City! Maybe my mom will say "yes"!! Maybe... maybe... maybe...' Ash finally got up and ran to the kitchen, where his mom was cooking dinner. Her Pokemon helper, Mr. Mime, was sweeping the rug in front of the front door. "Mime!! {Ash!!}" Mr. Mime cried when he saw ash running into the kitchen. "Mom!! I need to-AAHHH!!!!!" Ash yelled as he fell down after tripping over his book bag. Delia, Ash's mom, heard her son's scream. "Ash? Are you okay, sweetie?" She asked. Ash sat up, crossed-legged. "Yeah, Mom. I'm fine." He replied as he stood up. "Mom, can I ask you something?" Ash asked. He bit his lower lip in fear, hoping that she wouldn't say "no" when he asked her the question. "Sure, honey! You know that you can always ask me something." Delia exclaimed. Ash took in a deep breath, and asked away. "Mom, could you take me to Cerealin City during the summer?!" Ash closed his eyes, clenched his fists, and bit harder into his lower lip. He waited for an answer... and waited... and waited... and... "Sure, dear! I'll take you to Cerealin City anytime!!" His mom answered with. Ash had let out a huge sigh of relief. 'Whew...!' He opened his eyes and unclenched his fists. Ash ran up to his mom and gave her a tight, good hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mom!!!!!" He thanked his mom. "You're welcome, sweetie!" She hugged him back. Ash had let go and ran back to his room. "Dinner'll be ready in a few minutes, so wash up, honey!" Delia called. The next day at school, Misty told Ash the news. "my mom won't let!" She stated. She cried and tears rolled down her cheeks like rivers going at slow speeds. Ash felt like crying, too. Seeing his one and only love crying felt so hard to cope with. Ash didn't want to tell Misty that he was alloyed to go to her house. He wanted to surprise her during the summer. Ash had to bite his lower lip so that he wouldn't tell Misty what his mom said. Unfortchantly, Misty asked him what his mom said! Ash shook in fear. He had to think of something... and quick!! "I, uh, didn't ask my mom. Sorry 'bout that, Misty." Ash lied. Well... he didn't lie about the second thing he said. Misty looked even more depressed than before. "O-oh, o-okay, Ash." She replied through tears. She didn't look at Ash for the rest of the day. Later on that day, at reseus, Ash called Brock and Gary over for a secret meeting under their favorite, shady tree. "Misty didn't look at me at all today. You guys noticed, right?!" He questioned. Brock and Gary nodded. Gary didn't know much about girls, but luckily, Brock did, for he lived with five other girls and eight other boys. "It's probably 'cause of something you said to her today. What have you told her?" Brock asked in his mature-acting voice. Ash gulped, and nodded sheepishly. Gary, Brock, and Ash stared at each other and talked some more. At 12:00 PM, Brock walked home and told Ash and Gary that he'll see them soon. Ash, Gary, and Misty got on the bus to go home. Misty was dropped off first. Ash talked to Gary about girls. Gary slept over at Ash's house that night. "Are you going to Misty's house tomorrow, Ash?" Gary asked. Ash only shrugged. After Gary left Ash's house, Delia took Ash to Cerealin City. Ash stared out window as he rode in his mom's car. 'Will Misty still be sad and not talk to me?!' Ash thought sadly. Delia dropped him off in front of the Cerealin City gym. "Call me when you're ready, honey!!" His mom called. "Sure! Okay! Whatever!" Ash called back. He turned to see his mom leave him there. Ash sighed as he turned around to knock on the door. "Who is it?" Ash could tell that it was Misty's voice. "It's Ash Ketchem!" Ash called back. Misty slowly opened the door. "Ash?! Is that you? Gasp! It IS you!! But, I thought-" Misty was interpreted by Ash. "Heh heh! Well, um, I'm sorry, but, I lied. I did ask my Mom and she "yes"! I'm very sorry! I-" Misty interpreted him. "Don't say it! I got it!" Then she leaned over and hugged him. "I love you, Ash Ketchem." Misty whispered in his ear. Ash hugged Misty, too. "I love you, too, Misty Waterflowers." He whispered. THE END! Well, I hope you all liked it. This story is based on certain parts in my life, and upcoming events. Master Yami Cami
