Chapter 2:: Let's Be Friends
 
  Ryou continues to walk and he looks behind him, seeing his Pikachu walking 
slowly behind him.
  Ryou turns around and walks toward his Pikachu. "Is something wrong?" He asks.
  "Chu....{No....}" Pikachu exclaims. He starts to walk toward the right. 
  Ryou runs up to him and picks up his stubborn Pikachu. Pikachu gets upset and 
shocks Ryou. 
  "Gaaaaaaah!!!!" Ryou screams as he feels the shock in his body. Due to the 
shock, he lets go of Pikachu, giving the young Pokemon a chance of escaping. 
Pikachu climbs up a tree, high enough so that Ryou can't get him.
  When Ryou recovers from the shock, he looks at Pikachu and frowns a bit. "What 
was that for?!" He asks.
  "Chu chu. Pikachu.{I felt like it. I thought it was funny.}" The Pikachu says, 
with it's eyes closed.
  "Well, I don't think it was that funny. C'mon down from there." Ryou says 
walking towards the tree.
  Pikachu says nor does anything. 
  Ryou starts to climb the tree. He grabs one branch and pulls himself up. He 
grabs another one and pulls himself up. But then....
  
  Craaacckkk... Ryou slowly looks down and gasps as the branch his feet were on 
begins to break. Ryou quickly tries to pull himself up onto the next branch, 
but......
  SNAP! The branch below hie breaks off the tree. "Aahhhh!!" Ryou cries as he 
holds onto the next branch with both hands, just hanging.
  Pikachu begins to laugh at Ryou as he climbs one branch higher.
  Ryou looks down. He begins to shudder, then stops and looks up. He pulls 
himself up, and gets onto the next branch. He sits there, then slowly stands up. 
He grabs onto the tree to make sure he wouldn't fall.
  He looks up at the next branch and reaches one hand towards it, but starts to 
feel the branch he's standing on beginning to break. He puts his arm back down 
and wraps it around the tree. He moves one shaking foot and puts it on the tree, 
and starts to climb up that way.
  He climbs higher, not daring to look below him. He's just one branch away from 
Pikachu, so he grabs that branch. 
  Lifting himself up, he sits on the branch, his back on the tree. Ryou begins 
to breathe heavily. 
  Pikachu looks at Ryou then looks down. "Chu chu. Pikachu, pikachu.{You're a 
good climber. But, I don't think you want to look down.}" His Pokemon warns, as 
he begins to shudder.
  Ryou, still breathing heavily, nods. "I-I know." He then notices his Pikachu 
shaking. Ryou puts one hand out and touches Pikachu. 
  When Pikachu sees this, he.....
 
  Pikachu slowly walks toward Ryou and puts his head against his trainer's 
chest. 
  Ryou smiles, then slightly looks down. "Uh, uh, h-how are we going t-to get d-
down?!" He stammers.
