Last time, Ash and his cousin Katie were throwing a Christmas for all of Pallet 
Town, until a mysterious was invited by Katie herself.  The one person whom she 
met over the summer turns out to be.......
 
Katie:  Everyone, this is.......
 
Everyone:  *gasp*
 
Katie:  Daniel Ketchum, Ash's father!
 
Delia:  *gasp*  Oh......my......is it really you, Daniel?
 
Daniel:  Yes, Delia!  It's me, my darling!  I haven't seen you
            in many, many years.  *hugs Delia*
 
Delia:  *lets go* But, why didn't you contact me or Ash all
            this time?
 
Daniel:  Because I felt so embarassed by my own failures 
           that I didn't wanted to come back ever again.  Now
           that a few kind people managed to help me find my
           inner strength, things are getting to be my own sweet
           path.  *winks at Katie and Sandra*
 
Ash:  Dad?
 
Daniel:  Ash!  My little boy!  It's great to see you all this time!
 
Ash:  It's great to see you too!  *smiles and then starts to
        cry*  But, how come you didn't come back?
 
Daniel:  I wanted to accomplish my goal of becoming a 
          Pokemon master.
 
Ash:  That's my goal too!
 
Daniel:  Well, like father, like son!  *hugs Ash*
 
Ash:  Let's sit down and talk for a while.....
 
Daniel:  Ok!
 
*sitting down on the couch*
 
Ash:  So, what's all that over the years?
 
Daniel:  A few months after you were born, I told your 
           mother that I wanted to become a Pokemon master.
           So, I packed up some things and left home to 
           accomplish my goal.  But after many failures, I didn't
          want to come back home.  It seems like it happened
          only yesterday.........
 
*flashback to young Ash's days when he was infant(3 months at least)*
 
Daniel: Delia, I want to fulfill my dream of becoming a 
           Pokemon master just like my father.
 
Delia:  But, when you will come back?  *tears in her eyes*
 
Daniel:  Soon, enough, Delia, my dear!  It will be soon 
           enough!  *kisses Delia*  I leave as soon I do 
           something important to remember my last time with
           you and our little boy, Ash. *opens the door to see
           Ash*  Ash?  Hey there, little buddy!  *picks up Ash*
           Well, your daddy is going off on journey to become
           a Pokemon master.  So, I'll be going now.  *puts Ash
           down*  Pleasant dreams, my little boy, Ashton 
           Joseph Ketchum.
 
Delia:  *looks at Daniel*  Good-bye.........Daniel!  *cries*
 
Daniel:  Good-bye, Delia!  I'll remember you and Ash, 
            always!
 
Delia:  *walks into Ash's room*  I wonder how Ash is going
           take not having a father around for a very long time.
 
*a few years later*
 
Ash:  Mom, where's dad?
 
Delia:  Well, he's gone a journey and may not come back
        for a long time.
 
Ash:  What??????  *runs to his room crying*
 
*flashback to the party*
 
Ash:  Ahhhhh!!!!  So, that's what happened!  You left on a 
        journey to fulfill your dream just like I'm doing.
 
Daniel:  Yes!  I'm proud of you, Ashton Joseph Ketchum!
 
Ash:  Thanks, Dad!
 
Sandra:  Hey, everybody!  We've also invited a special guest
            tonight:  Samantha Martinez!!!!!!!  *everyone claps*
 
Ash:  Wha???  hahahaha  Samantha?  You came here to
        see my dad, right?  
 
Samantha:  Well, I was willing to perform for all the party
                guests, but I'll make it a special one especially
                your dad!  OK?  
 
Daniel: Samantha?
 
Samantha:  Yes, uncle?????
 
Daniel:  I'm your Uncle Daniel!  
 
Samantha:  *smiles and laughs*   I'm sorry I just didn't 
                recognize you back there.
 
Daniel:  That's ok, it happens sometimes especially when I
            come back from a journey thinking that everyone 
            would forget about me.
 
Ash and Katie:  Not us!
 
Katie:  OK, let's get this performance started!
 
*Samantha starts performing a medley of Jingle Bells, Santa Claus Coming To 
Town, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer*
 
It seems as though that the mystery has been solved as well for Ash discovering 
the truth about his past.  The party was a complete success and everyone had a 
good time!  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!
