Doctor: Tom, ash, come here. 
 
Ash: what happened? 
 
Doctor: two things: first, the nightgown that misty was wearing, the second is 
that the  
gunshot hole, has vanished, and the vitals have returned to normal. 
 
Tom: how could the gunshot hole just disapear? 
 
Ash: Will ' but how?' 
 
Doctor: there are two patient coming in, but to be safe misty should stay the 
night. 
 
Ash: Fine by me 'Will is a genius' 
 
<a few minutes later in misty's room> 
 
Misty: Dad i am fine.  and in fact i felt better about 15 minutes after will 
left 
 
Mr. waterflower: will? is this a new boyfriend i should be wondering about? 
 
misty: no ash is still the one i like.  besides, will is two years younger than 
i am. 
 
Mr. waterflower: fine, just remember that i trust your judgment, but try to look 
for  
someone new. <leaves the room> 
 
Misty: so ash, why did these bullet holes disappear? 
 
Ash: no one is sure. but my guess is a time disturbance. 
 
Misty: a What?! 
<will enters the room> 
Will: that would be where something or someone goes back in time to change the  
outcome to force something else to happen.  my dad taught me about that. 
 
Misty: ah will so nice of you to come back. can you introduce us to your 
parents? 
 
Will: if i could find them, they are somewhere in this hotel.  the told me once 
i got done  
visiting people just to head back to home, and they would catch up. let me 
describe them  
to you. My dad is a great pokemon master.  and after taking many blows during 
his late  
teenage years released all except for a pikachu, and a mr. mime that belonged to 
his mom  
while she was alive.  he was an accomplished pilot and became the head of the 
time  
travel at NASA. 
 
Ash: Wow. you know my mom has a mr. mime.  
 
Misty: what about your mom? 
 
Will: She was a gym leader, but, though she was stubborn to him, had a crush on 
my  
father.  she hated bug types.  she also went in to become a flight director at 
NASA.  she  
always loved water pokemon... 
 
Misty: wow that sounds a lot like people i know. 
 
Ash: yeah. ' he is so bluffing' 
 
will: i stopped by the airfield and you left this there. < hands misty's 
nightgown to her > 
 
Misty: thanks i guess. 'i thought i had this on when i came here' 
 
<mysterious ringing> 
 
will: 'great the one time i need towell i think i should go, but first i need to 
get these out'  
 
Ash: how can we thank you for getting us out of this situation? 
 
will: it is nothing ... well< slips ash a sheet of paper > there is that. 
 
Ash: are you sure? 
 
will: i need that promise 
 
Ash: i will do it.  are you happy? 
 
Will: yes, and trust me you will be happy with the decision too. 
 
Misty: what are you talking about? 
 
<ash hand misty the note.> 
 
will: well i really need to get home. < starts to walk out. >  oh and Guys?  
 
Ash/ misty: yeah? 
 
Will: catch. <tosses two pokeballs to them.> 
 
Misty: <opens hers.> neat a necklace with all the pokemon i caught.<will walks 
out.> 
 
Ash: <opens his> Cool.  Thanks... will? 
 
Misty: where did he go? 
Ash: I do not know 
 
Attendant: <over intercom > will a mister ash catchem come to the front desk 
there is a  
call for you. 
 
Ash: i will be right back. 
 
<in the lobby> 
 
Ash: hello My name is ash catchum. 
 
Attendant: there is a cal from a samuel Oak. 
 
Ash: ok <takes the phone > hello professor. 
 
Oak: oh ash, i am so sorry but your mom... <Bang> ...died last night. 
 
Alarms: red alert.  breach in room B144 
 
Ash: that's misty's room.  <pulls out a Pokemon Handheld Organizer and plugs it 
into the  
phone. hangs up.> i will need to talk to your for a victory in this battle.  
Great the door is  
locked... is scizor purified? 
 
Oak: of course. it is in slot 626 
 
<ash hit the keys and the Pokeball appeared in the slot above keypad> 
 
Ash: come on out scizor. 
 
Scizor: sci sci zor {hello ash} 
 
Ash: i need a metal punch to break open the door. 
 
Scizor: sci zor zor {done} <the door comes crashing down> 
 
Evice: well if it isn't the little thief; first my Ball, then my girl now my 
pokemon. 
 
Ash:  you can have the ball back, just answer me two questions.<walks toward 
misty> 
 
Evice: shoot 
 
Ash: first why do you want it? <moves closer> 
 
Evice: it is not any of your business. final question 
 
Ash: if you had Misty in custody for a day why didn't you notice she had it all 
along? <un  
clips the necklace from around misty's neck and tosses it to evoce> 
 
Evice: i.. uh... i guess we... thanks <exits room> 
 
Misty: uh. explanation? 
 
Ash: Evice and i were once friends, i accidentally grabbed a pokeball from his 
display.   
forgot about it and when he saw me a few months later with you as my girlfriend 
the ties  
were severed. 
 
Misty: oh 
 
<doctor walks in>  
 
dr. Robert: Miss Ty you are clear to leave. 
 
 
Misty: thanks.  <ash and misty leave room> 
 
Father: so how do we work this out. 
 
Ash: i have paid for one more night. you guys go to the hotel, i have gotten 
used to the  
accommodations on my shuttle. i have something i must work out.   
 
Father: sure, come along dear. 
 
Misty: right away dad. 
 
<later on the ship> 
 
Ash: now tell me how this happened.   
 
Gary: we do not know, mimey alerted to us this morning so she must have 
peacefully met  
her end during the night. 
 
Ash: well i need to get some sleep. goodnight <hangs up>well<opens pokeball> now 
for  
one last thing and this trip will be par.<dorbell rings> come on down.<hides 
pokeball n  
jacket> 
 
Misty: you call this comfortable? 
 
Ash: no i call this getting used to accommodations, just off the bridge is were 
i will  
usually sleep if i am alone. beside here is the only place with a phone line 
connection. 
 
Misty: so... what will be the plan of attack tomorrow? 
 
Ash: we go up, i go into the exploration pod that is docked on her back. you go 
in for  
landing. 
 
Misty: what will you be doing, and why can't we come?  
 
Ash: 1. i am going to observe the regions from the sky, and 2. when my pod 
separates, it  
will force you down toward Canaveral. 
 
Misty; oh i see. 
 
Ash: now go back to the hotel and get some shut eye.  we will leave early in the 
morning. 
 
father: it is only noon. 
 
Ash: oh yeah, hi. 
 
Father: now explain how you will sleep down here. 
 
Ash: like the astronauts do. now can i talk to you upstairs, <turns to misty> 
alone? 
 
Father: sure. 
<upstairs> 
 
ash: the reason why i asked for you to talk to me up here was, well i have known 
misty  
for a long time now and even though a lot of stuff has happened, i was 
wondering? <pulls  
out the pokeball> if i could have your permission to marry her. 
 
Father: i am sorry ash, but because of what happened i do not grant permission 
for you to  
marry her. 
 
Ash: ok, well there are still sites in the city neither you nor misty had seen.  
go on. i need  
to run a few check.< opens the hatch.>  misty could you please come up here? 
 
Misty: sure 
 
ash: thanks, i will see you tomorrow.  <scuries into a small hall and 
disappears.> ready  
for this trip the EPT must be. 
 
Misty: Later<leaves> 
 
Ash: gary can you power up your end of the EPT? 
 
Gary: sure.  but you would need to be within 1 mile of the house. 
 
Ash: does that cliff count? 
 
Gary: yes, ... you aren't going to attempt a suicide/homicide are you? 
 
Ash: No, just a little stunt. i guess  you could say the only one to die is Ash 
Catchem. and  
in his place will raise John Mccoy 
 
Gary: is that a name you are using to avoid publicity? 
 
Ash: you could say that.  that or someone, how did the results of the test on 
the gem come  
out positive? 
 
Gary: yes, however we are talking about pokemon, not human who are more complex.   
however the duplicator is in full working order, but the clone will only survive 
for a few  
minute. 
 
Ash: that will be enough.  i am using my remote controllable ship so that i can 
disguise  
myself and hide catchem corpse in the ship and sink it down to proper depth.

signing off<hangs up>  
 
<the next Day> 
 
Ash: welcome onboard. todays flight will be non-stop to outer space. from there 
i will be  
departed for an extended space Extra vehicular activity.  at which time you will 
begin  
your descent. 
 
Mr. waterflower: this has nothing to do with that our talk last night. 
 
Ash: <sweatdrops.> no none at all. 
 
<a few hours later> 
 
Ash: Lady and gentleman, i now proudly announce that we have achieved Orbit.   
<turning to misty>  remember me and look up a friend of mine by the name of John  
Mccoy. 
 
Misty: Ash? 
 
Ash: computer. give me five minutes until detachment of space pod BR549. then  
autopilot the ship back down to canaveral, lock computers by voice password: My 
love.  
<says something inaudible to all but the computer>  Good bye Waterflowers. 
<exits the  
room.> 
 
Misty: Goodbye Ash. <turns to her father.>  How could you? 
 
Mr. waterflower; what are you talking about? 
 
Misty: last night i overheard you saying he could marry me, and seeing as his 
mom had  
died. i do not see how you could have not seen that. 
 
Mr. waterflower: well, i ... 
 
Computer: Pod separation in t-20 seconds.   prepare for landing procedures. 
 
Misty: in your seat now! 
 
<on the ground> 
 
Will: well, well misty, how much you have grown since i last saw you. 
 
Misty: that was a week ago. now show me to the monitor room i have a pod to 
check on. 
 
Jenna: sure cuz.  what is the signal 
 
Misty: BR549. 
 
Will: i thought he was with you. 
 
Mr. waterflower: no he bailed when we hit the orbit. 
 
Jenna: What was his reason? 
 
Misty: i think he said he wanted to map out a new region. 
 
Jenna: let us hope we are not too late. 
 
<misty threw her a father a look that when loosely translated said "if he is 
dead, your  
corpse will join his."> 
 
Mr. waterflower: now why would a sweet little girl do something like that? 
 
Will:  what had happened in his personal life? 
 
Father: He could not compete in a tournament, a maniac stole my daughter, i did 
not let  
him marry her, his mother died. 
 
Will: she is mad at you.  good luck with that. 
 
Father:oh. 
 
<in the pod.> 
 
Gary: how are things going john? 
 
Ash: good, initiate EPT on my mark 3...2...1... 
 
Gary: Mark! 
 
<in the lab> 
 
<the procedure is a success and the New ash is alive for a few minutes the real 
ash's hair  
is now a shade of Brown, instead of Black> 
 
Gary: the Copy need his jacket. 
 
Ash: done, a spitting image,  thanks. <puts on a brown trench coat with matching 
derby.> 
 
Gary: now to put him back. 
 
John: EPT him now! 
 
Gary: OK 
 
<the copy leaves in a flash of light.> 
 
<at the airfield> 
 
Jenna: this is bad 
 
Misty What? 
 
Jenna: first off, ash has lost all vital signs and he is strapped to the bed.  
the ships hull  
cracked on entry and the ship is just of the coast in Cloyster Lake. 
 
Misty: i am off. 
 
Will: where are you going? 
 
Misty: to an old friends. 
 
<at prof. oak's lab> 
 
Gary: hi misty, can i help you? 
 
Misty: where is ash? 
 
<ash enters the room> 
 
John Mccoy: about 5 miles of shore, and 100 nautical yards down. Sorry for the 
intrusion,  
but my name is John Mccoy Private Eye. 
 
Misty: hi.  how did you know ash? 
 
John: we grew up together but i moved away 5 years after we met.  he caught up 
with me  
a few months ago.  during his "alone time"  he never ventured farther than the 
viridian  
forest.  he had memories that he wanted to suppress. i told him that he needed 
to have  
friends around him that life was to short to not live.  he got on a pidgeot and 
flew away. 
 
Misty: nice to meet you, my name is misty.  <begins to sob on his shoulder> 
 
John: it's going to be alright Mist... <looking at gary who is nonverbal trying 
to say "  
don't blow your cover>... y 
 
Misty: what did you call me?< mallet in hand> 
 
John: Misty, that is your name right?  now what are you going to do with that? 
 
Misty: sorry it is just that I thought you were Ash catchem. 
 
John:   he is close.  in fact i will show you i am not him. 
 
< a few hours later> 
 
<john, misty, gary, and brock are on board a ship.  Brock and john are trying to 
comfort  
Misty. Gary is maneuvering  the boat to coordinates.> 
 
Gary: here we are, Mccoy time to go below deck. 
 
John: aye aye captain. 
 
<below Deck> 
 
Gary: is the ship set? 
 
John: yup. 
 
Gary: is the log in place? 
 
John: yes. <quietly>did you grab the pokeball holding the ring? 
 
Gary: <producing a small orb> yes. but maybe i should hold on to it. 
 
 
 
<at few hours later. > 
 
John: < over radio >i am sorry, but the sub is too deep for any man-made sub to 
be safe. 
 
Gary: ok, come back up. 
 
<a few minutes later. >  
 
Misty: well? 
 
John: no luck. 
 
<later at the dock. > 
 
Misty: i am going to take a walk, john will you join me? 
 
John: sure. < a few minutes later. > what did you want to talk about? 
 
Misty: actually i was thinking we could play the game of truths. 
 
John: whats that? 
 
Misty: it is like truth or dare, only no dares. 
 
John: count me in. Ladies first. 
 
Misty: What was your first pokemon? 
 
John: a pidgey. if you could have one pokemon what would it be? 
 
Misty: tentacruel. how did you know Ash? 
 
John: i helped him to train a few years ago when i helped to train for a 
tournament when  
he became a master. <shows a photos>  we were so close 'smirks' you could say we 
were  
one person. same question. 
 
Misty: i rescued him and traveled with him until i got my bike back, even still 
i would  
meet up with him from time and again.  When did you come into existence? 
 
John: a few years ago, but i started being him as my main identity about a few 
hours ago.  
 
Misty: what do you mean? 
 
John: Look at the Photo you will notice that both of the competitors have the 
same hat. 
 
Misty: so how did you get brown hair? 
 
John: it was somewhere between the EPT and the cloning. 
 
Misty: what do you mean? i did not have any changes in features. 
 
John/ash: remember, you were traveling a 2.0, quite safe.  while the pod i was 
in had a  
0.5 prototype. highly radioactive. 
 
Misty: the ship? 
 
Ash: it was the sub.  i just used a manikin so you would not be suspicious. Did 
you love  
Ash? 
 
Misty:  Yes 
<Ash reaches over and gives her a kiss on the lips.> 
 
Misty: ash? 
 
Ash: yes 
 
Mr. Waterflower: misty! 
 
Ash: <low whisper> start crying. 
 
Mr. waterflower: i am so glad you are safe.  You were crying? 
 
Ash: yes sir.  mourning the loss of a friend.  
 
Mr. waterflower: i do not believe that that we have not been introduced. 
 
Ash: <tipping his hat revealing brown hair> John McCoy. 
 
Mr. waterflower: nice try Ash. good to see you are still among the living. And 
yes i  
consent. 
Ash: thank you. Misty how about we had back for dinner on the ranch 
 
Misty: May i 
 
Mr. waterflower nods and walks away. 
<later at the ranch> 
Ash: there is something i need to ask you. < reach in his trench-coat>  
 
Misty: what is it? 
 
Ash: i know we have been for a long time, i love you. and i want to know, <gets 
down on  
one knee and opens the pokeball> will you be my wife. 
 
Misty: yes, i will.  
 
<they share a passionate Kiss.>
