The Darkness Within

Author notes: Er, I saw a rumour about where Ash's Pikachu came from on a 
website. It was something like "Pikachu might be the son of a Dark Pikachu 
and it escaped."

And I thought "Hey, shouldn't Pikachu be dark if it's mum/dad was dark?" And 
I had made a Dark Pikachu a few years ago...

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon and I doubt I ever will. I created my 
version of Dark Pikachu and Dark Raichu, so there! (but the originals belong 
to whoever made them)

Note: Pokemon talk translated to human is in []s.

It was a usual day in the Land of Johto. Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu and 
Togepi were on their way to Blackthorn city and the next Gym Battle.

Pikachu was asleep on Ash's head.
Togepi was randonly chriping "Toki toki! Priii!"

Ash tripped up and Pikachu fell flat on his face.

"Pi-ka-chuuuuu!"

Pikachu shocked Ash.

Ash didn't feel much pain, it was a Thundershock and he was used to 
Thunderbolts.

"That's funny." Said Brock. "Pikachu never shocks Ash nowadays!"

Togepi hopped down from Misty's grasp and faced Pikachu.

"Toki, toki, prii?" [What was that all about?]

"Pika pika chu! Chu pika pikachu..." [I don't know! A strange thing came 
over me...]

Togepi shrugged and Misty picked him up again.

There was an explosion from behind.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"Make it double!"

[Oh, not them again!] Pikachu cried.

[I wonder what disturbing contraption they'll come up with this time?] Said 
Togepi. Pikachu stared at him cos Togepi NEVER said smart things.

"Okay, dey know da rest!" Meowth cried. "HA HA HA! We've come up with da 
poifect plan to catch that Pikachu!"

"HA HA HA!" James hurled an Element-proof net over Pikachu.

"Pikapi!" Pikachu's muffled cry came from inside the bag.

"Toki!" Togepi went into a battle stance. He started moving his arms from 
side to side. After a few seconds, they glowed blue and Togepi spat water at 
the net- a Hydro Pump attack!

[Pikachu! Now's your chance to use Thunderbolt!] Togepi yelled.

"Pi-ka-" Pikachu clenched his fists and charged up his Thunderbolt.

The net started to spark with electricity.

BLACK electricity.
