Hope at Last Disclaimer: If I were to own Pokemon, Ash exploring the Hoenn and Johto, pah! He should be Traveling the Yukon, Nova Scotia and the Cordillera (BC and a bit surrounding). I know those are real places so there’s my proof. What Misty didn’t know: the decider of their fate decided to give them a break. Misty heard something, a whistle, a musical whistle. It could be the wind, but something in Misty told her it wasn’t. This was her only chance, her only hope. Acacia heard footsteps approaching. Who could be out? “Please, help me,” Misty begged when she reached the stranger, “my friend over there is-”, yet she was interrupted by a loud sneeze that echoed trough the hollow. That explained everything. “He must have the flu, no time to waste!” and took off on a stroke. Ash shivered and sneezed. How was he going to get well? And that’s when he spotted Acacia, putting on a speed that nearly flattened Misty (don’t ask me, read it in a book), and was headed straight towards him. He sniffled. Sneezed too. Achoo! Misty took a liking to her immediately. Who was this Asian, slim, long silky haired, fashion forward girl who wore a yellow trench coat and shoulder pink tote. Misty pondered question after question. What was her name? Was she smart? Skilful –and just between you and me, yes.-? Ash saw the girl come to talk to him. “You don’t look very well, but before we take care of that, we’ll need a shelter,” Acacia told Ash, gazing up to where an evening star shone brightly. “Who are you anyway?” Ash interjected hoarsely. “oh,” Misty appeared behind Acacia, “she’s umm…uh…” Misty realized they had ran so fast that that had forgot the introductions. “My name’s Acacia,” she supplied, “and you?” “Misty. Here Togepi (toge-priii!), Pikachu (Pikachu-pi!), and Ash.” “Well, enough chitchat. Let’s get to work!”. Misty protested. She’d never built a snow fort before, let alone an igloo. At least they had an expert with them. Igloo was built, blocks out of the ground, and smoothed over to create an igloo with a storage space, and chimney, with a deep path leading right up to it; intriguing Ash to compliment them hoarsely and with ACHOO!!s. Reminding Acacia: “oh, and Ash, would you like a throat lozenge? I made them myself. Green apple flavor. I think that they’re good.” Ash agreed. Dusk had fallen. Inside the igloo, Acacia saw Misty, huddling in the corner -well, I guess not- pale and shivering. “Why- Misty, you must have caught Ash’s flu. Here, take another cough drop. Anyhow, it’s cold out here, you’ll need a jacket. Oh, and I’ll need some water. Pokemon, could you help? Go, Minun Plusle, Jigglypuff, and Riolu! Come on out! Help togepi, and pikachu collect this cauldron (she referred to a cauldron big enough to fit an elephant out of her shoulder tote).Hmm? ‘Pika Pika[why so big]’ Because snow is only one tenth water. ‘pikachu’. Now, about Misty’s coat.” “No, I won’t take your coat and there’s nowhere to buy one. And, I’m not sick.” Misty finished her statement with a loud sneeze. “ Don’t be modest, how about a violet purple velvet trench with an overlap?” Acacia had already decided, because she pulled out a bolt of fabric, some thread, a needle, and a gold starmie button. “How do you like this?” Acacia inquired when the final product was finished. It fit perfectly, was so flattering. Even Ash commented “You look great”. By that time, the helpful Pokemon had returned, with a full to the brim bucket. Soon there was a merry fire crackling under boiling water. Acacia had one more thing, that was a steaming apple pie. One last scene: ashes of the fire and everyone sleeping peacefully. Ps. Sorry, but Team rocket won’t be saying their motto or blasting off again until after Part 4! Also being an author is hard work! If you have an idea you need to write it down, even at 11 pm! Note: Sorry the chapters are so short. It’s just that I start with like 3 ½ pages and then, when I transfer, I just type from what I read. So it’s alot shorter, like speeches, and extra words. If you want me to, I’ll get someone to type up the originals so you can see them.
