Chapter Six: Disaster Strikes! The Gyarados wasn't pleased. I glanced at my friends, who were all worried, then at Ms Holland and Mr Cauchi. They weren't worried. Mr Pannuchio wasn't either, but Mrs Herring thankfully began to get us out of the water. "All right! Hurry now, get out of the water!" she called. I wish people had their pokémon, to fight the raging Gyarados. Speaking of Gyarados, the wild pokémon formed a yellow beam and aimed it at the water. A wave splashed over us, as we scrambled to shore for our lives. "Why... Why is this thing chasing us?" I heard Mathew yell. "I don't kno...Augh!" I cried, being dumped by another wave created by yet another Hyper Beam. "Mathew! Robert! Dion! Hel-Augh!" The waves and angry Gyarados were pushing me under the water, and I had no chance of survival unless one of my friends would help me. Strong arms came and lifted me up and strong legs paddled furiously against the current to shore. I couldn't see who my rescuer was, as my eyes were shut tight, but I was very grateful to him. It was rough, but I was also helpless. My rescuer and I were splashed down by another wave, and the sea had become very choppy because of that Gyarados. The Gyarados hadn't finished with Grade 6 of Poke Immaculate yet. It was now physically trying to attack and finish us off, without Dragon Rages or Hyper Beams. It lurched down and barely missed Fiona and Tiffany. Then it went for Daniel. After that, missing both times, it spotted my rescuer and me. It sped down, trying to hit us, but missed, creating a wave. The person rescuing me was smart, and rode the wave to shore. When I landed on the sand, a wave---no, a rush---of relieve washed over me. I rubbed my eyes and slowly opened them to reveal my mystery rescuer. It was Robert. "Robert!" I cried. "You...You saved my life back there!" Robert looked down at the sand. "It was nothing," he mumbled, blushing slightly. "Oh yes it was!" I said. "You just saved my life from a raging Gyarados. I don't know many eleven year olds that can say they did that!" "Well," Robert began. "Good job mate!" Matt congratulated him, slapping his shoulder. "Yeah, good on ya mate!" Dion added, patting his back. "That's okay," he said. "You're welcome Tara." ------------- The students were in their cabins, getting ready for bed. The boys were just getting out of the showers, well, most of them. Robert was waiting against the door of the bathroom for Dion to come out. As soon as Dion got out of the bathroom, Robert pulled him aside. "Can you do me a favor?" he whispered. "What type of favor?" Dion asked. "Well," Robert began. "I've heard that psychic pokémon can create dreams. Could you get Abra to listen to me? Can I borrow Abra for the night?" "Okay," Dion sighed. "Abra?" he asked, letting out the psychic pokémon. "I want you to listen to Robert for the night okay? He wants to borrow you, okay?" Abra nodded. "Thanks Dion," Robert thanked, looking and sounding less glum than he had been for the past couple of days. As Dion walked away, Robert knelt down and whispered to Abra. "Abra, I need you to create a dream for a person..."
