Disclaimer: All I have to say is AAML 4ever! I don't own Pokémon, but I do own this fanfic so if you steal it, I will have no choice but to blow up your computer. This was written in January 2004.

Misty had been in the bathroom for at least two hours getting ready for the rest of the day. She just got out of the bathroom, fully dressed and ready to go out on deck if she wanted to. But she hadn't eaten anything for some time and she was hungry so she went over to the phone by the beds and dialed 1 for room service.

"Hello? This is room service. How may I help you?" the person on the other side asked.

"Oh, yes. Can you please bring up two bowls of clam chowder to room 183," Misty replied.

"Would you like something to drink?"

"Um, I guess a pitcher of coka cola."

"Is that all mam?"

"Yes, but can you tell me how long it will be?"

"It will take about 15 minutes to bring up your food. Thanks for using room service and if you need anything else, just dial one, bye.

"Bye bye, and thanks," Misty said and them hung up the phone.

Misty didn't know what to do. She noticed that Ash and Pikachu were gone, but Ash had left his backpack here for some reason.

'He probably left it because he doesn't need it while he's on a ship,' Misty thought.

"And I'll beat you tomarrow!" screamed Ash right outside the door.

"Pika pika!"

Ash opened the door to the room seeing Misty already in sitting on the bed.

"Who was that were yelling to?" Misty asked.

"That was Natalie, a Pokémon trainer I met while I was exploring the ship with Pikachu," Ash answered.

"So you said that you were going to beat her? Beat her in what? If it was a battle of wits, then you would lose," Misty said with a laugh.

"In a Pokémon battle of course. There's going to be a water Pokémon battle tournament tomarrow and for the next couple of days. Although, I don't know the prizes, but who cares as long as I win," Ash said with confidence.

"Well you'll have to get through me to win. Don't forget I'm training to be the world's greatest water Pokémon master ever." Misty said back to Ash.

"So how did you meet her?" Misty said acting a little jealous.

"Well that's a long story," Ash said.

"I'm not going anywhere. I just called room service and they're going to be up here with some clam chowder in about ten minutes."

"Really is there going to be enough for me? I'm starving," Ash said.

"Don't worry Ash, I knew that you would be back soon so I ordered enough for both of us."

"Oh well thanks Misty."

"Now tell me more about how you met this Natalie."

"Well okay, here goes."

A couple of hours ago, Ash and Pikachu were right outside of their room and Misty was just getting into the shower.

"Well, I don't want to stay around here and do nothing," Ash said to Pikachu. "Lets go and explore the ship and maybe we'll meet some Pokémon trainers."

"Pika!"

Ash and Pikachu went down the hall and went on the elevator so to go up on deck. When they got up there, it was a little after 12:00 noon, so there were a lot of people and a lot of Pokémon running about.

Ash and Pikachu were walking along until they saw a Wooper wearing a red scarf that looked like it was scared.

Ash and Pikachu walked up to it, knelt down, and said, "Hi Wooper, are you lost? Did you get separated from your trainer?"

The Wooper nodded once and said, "Wooper."

"Well don't worry. Come with me and I'll find your trainer," Ash said to it.

Wooper was reluctant to go with Ash because it didn't know him.

"Pika pika chu ka pi."

When Wooper heard Pikachu say this it perked up and jumped up on to Ash's other shoulder (Pikachu was already traveling on the other).

"I don't know what you said to it Pikachu but thanks. Now how about we try to find Officer Jenny. I bet she'll know what to do," Ash said to the two Pokémon.

Ash was walking along with the two Pokémon when out of no where Ash hears a whistle blow and sees Officer Jenny and a girl about Ash's age running towards him yelling,

"Stop right there theif!"

"A thief where? Did he steal a Pokémon?" Ash said looking around for the theif.

Officer Jenny finally gets to him and slaps the cuffs on him faster than he can do anything.

"Hey! What is this? I'm not a theif! I didn't steal anything!" Ash said to Officer Jenny.

The girl who was running with Jenny came up to her Wooper riding on Ash's shoulder and picked it up, then said to Ash,

"I hope you go away forever you theif!"

Everyone around Ash and Jenny were all looking at them.

"Wait a minute. I would never steal a Pokémon! You have to believe me!" Ash was trying to plead his case to Jenny.

"Save it for when your on the mainland in Ohnee. The judge is going to throw the book at you!" Jenny said to him. "And what about this Pikachu, I bet you stole it too."

After Jenny said this, Jenny tried to take Pikachu off of Ash's shoulder, but Pikachu jumped off in front of Ash, protecting him from Jenny.

"Pikachu!" it said, mad that Jenny would say such things about his best friend.

"Hold it Pikachu. Don't do anything to Jenny," Ash said to Pikachu.

"I didn't steal Pikachu. He was my first Pokémon and we're best friends," Ash said to Jenny.

"Okay, but how can I be sure that you didn't steal Natalie's Wooper," Jenny said to Ash.

"Who's Natalie?" Ash said confused.

"I'm Natalie, the trainer that the Wooper you stole belongs to," the girl who was now holding Wooper said.

"Hold it. This is all sircumstantial evidence. I mean is there any concrete proof that I stole Wooper?"

"Well I saw him do it," a person from the crowd said coming forward towards Jenny and Ash.

"What did he do?" Jenny asked him.

"He was walking on this deck not too long ago when he came up to the girl's Wooper. Then he knelt down and said some stuff to it, but it wasn't until his Pikachu talked to it that Wooper jumped up onto his shoulder and then he started walking again until you, Officer Jenny, came running up and slapped the cuffs on him."

"What did you say to it," Jenny asked Ash.

"I said that if you come with me and Pikachu I'll find your trainer for you," Ash said.

"Liar!," Natalie said to him with a angry look on her face.

"Okay, I can prove to all of you that I didn't steal this girl's Wooper," Ash said to all of them.

"And just how are you going to do that?" Jenny asked Ash.

"I know Professor Oak. He was the one that first gave me Pikachu a long time ago. If you call him up, he'll tell you that I don't steal Pokémon."

"Okay, but you might be lying," Jenny said to him.

Ash, Pikachu, Natalie, her Wooper and Jenny all went down to the brig and put Ash in front of the video phone.

Jenny picked up the phone and said,

"If you really know Professor Oak, then what's his number?" Jenny asked Ash.

"It's 118-762-5465," Ash replied.

"So you know his phone number, doesn't mean you know him," Jenny said.

Jenny dialed the number and waited while the phone was ringing. She waited about thirty seconds, and then she put the phone down.

"There was no answer Ash, so your going in the brig," Jenny said to him.

"I'm sorry but since your going into the cell, I'm going to have to confiscate your Pokémon," Jenny said to Ash. Jenny reached behind Ash and took his five Pokéballs from him and set them on the table.

"And your Pikachu is going to have to be put into it's Pokéball," Jenny said to Ash.

"I'm sorry but that's impossible," Ash said with a grin on his face. "Pikachu doesn't like to be in it's Pokéball so he always stays out with me. And anyway, I don't carry around his Pokéball with me. It's at my house because I don't really have any use for it anymore."

"Well then Pikachu will have to come with me for now," Jenny said to Pikachu.

"Pika pika!" he said as Jenny tried to pick it up.

"Don't worry. Pikachu can stay here with me. He won't do anything to get me out."

"Why is it that I don't believe you," Jenny said to him.

Jenny threw him in to the jail cell, and was just about to close and lock the door when Ash said,

"If Misty was here, she would tell you that I'm not a theif," Ash said to Jenny.

"Who's Misty?" Jenny asked Ash.

"She came with me on this cruise because we're friends," Ash said.

"And where are we supposed to find her?" Jenny asked.

"We're staying in room 183, but I think that she's in the shower right now, and, oh my gosh, her backpack is in there too!" Ash yelled. He was almost out of options.

"Wait a second. I just remembered something. We don't need Professor Oak, or Misty. My backpack is in room 183 and it has something in it that will finally prove to both of you that I don't steal Pokémon."

"And just what would that be?" Jenny asked him.

"Enough of this!" Natalie yelled out. "He stole my Wooper so I want to see him go in jail!"

"Not just yet Natalie!" Ash yelled to her.

"Jenny. Don't listen to him. He's taking you on a wild Zangoose chase. Just throw him in jail, and this will all be over!" Natalie yelled.

"Not if he can prove his innocence," Jenny said to her.

"Oh thank you Officer Jenny," Ash said."

"Now Ash, what is this thing that you have in your backpack?" Jenny asked him.

"I thought I heard someone come into the room while I was in the shower," Misty said to Ash.

"Yeah, that was me, Natalie, her Wooper, Pikachu and Officer Jenny."

"Hello?" Knock knock "Room service," a guy on the other side of the door said.

"Great it's here, come in!" Misty said.

The guy with the food opened the door and came in with a rolling cart with some soup and a pitcher of coka cola on the tray.

"Here you go. That'll be $23.18," the guy said.

"Okay," Ash said as he came over to the guy and gave him $30.00. "Keep the change."

"Thank you sir. And if you need anything else, just dial 1 for room service."

"Thanks," Ash and Misty said together, and then the guy left Ash and Misty to eat their lunch.

Ash and Misty rolled the cart in between the two beds and they both sat down and started eating.

"Well don't leave me hanin'. What happened next, Ash?"

"Now Ash, what is this thing that you have in your backpack?" Jenny asked him.

"I got an award recently for saving some Pokémon from Team Rocket."

"Well we'll see about that. Come with me," Jenny said. Ash came out of the jail cell, got the cuffs slapped on him again and then they all left the brig to go up to room 183.

When they finally got there, Jenny asked, "Do you have the key card?"

"Yeah, it's in my wallet in my back pocket."

Jenny reached in Ash's back pocket, pulled out his wallet, opened it and came out with the key card. Then she took the card and swipped it on the pad on the door and she opened the door.

They all went in and heard that the shower was on.

"That's Misty in the shower like I told you," Ash said. "And there's my backpack on the floor."

Jenny went over to the backpack, opened it and started to look inside it. It was very unorganized so it took Jenny a few minutes to pull out the award and read it aloud.

"To Ash, Brock, May and Max," Jenny said reading the award. "Who are they?" Jenny asked Ash.

"I used to travel with them a few months ago before me and Misty decided to go alone to Ohnee. But that doesn't matter now, just keep reading my award," Ash said to Jenny.

Jenny started from the beginning again.

"To Ash, Brock, May and Max. Thank you all for saving all of the Pokémon in the Pokémon center from Team Rocket today. We salute your fine work to Hoenn and hope you all have a safe journey, signed Officer Jenny. P.S. Good luck in the Hoenn League Ash Ketchum. Do your best."

"You mean your Ash Ketchum!" Natalie yelled. "Oh I saw you at the Hoenn League. You were great. I'm sorry that you lost in the semi-finals, but your last battle was a match I'll never forget!"

"Oh, thanks Natalie. Does that mean you believe that I didn't steal your Wooper?"

"Not so fast. Officer Jenny, is the award authentic?" Natalie asked.

"It looks real, but it might be a fake. Lets go back to the brig and use the phone to call my sister back in Hoenn. I know which one of my family members it is because of the signiture. It looks a lot like my sister's in Ever Grande City. She'll be able to tell us if it's real or not, because she's the one who would have given this award to Ash and his friends," Jenny said.

So they all went back to the brig and Jenny calls up her sister.

Another Officer Jenny popped up on the screen and said,

"Hi sis. Havn't seen you in a long time."

"Hi Jenny. I'm calling to see if you can tell me who this is," Jenny said and got up to put Ash in front of the video phone.

"Oh hi Ash. I saw you at the Hoenn League. I was really rooting for you to win. I'm sorry that you lost in fourth place, but your battle was great."

"Thanks Officer Jenny. Can you please tell your sister that I would never steal Pokémon?" asked Ash.

"You steal Pokémon? After what you did for us? You would never steal Pokémon. I can tell that you really love Pokémon."

"Thanks sis," Jenny said going in front of the video phone again to talk to her sister, "that's all we needed to know. I'm sorry, but I can't talk to you more right now, because I owe Ash an appology."

"Okay, talk to you later, bye."

"Bye sis," and then the screen went blank and Jenny hung up the phone.

Jenny got up, turned to Ash and said,

"I'm so sorry Ash. Is there anything that I can do for you," Jenny asked Ash.

"Well you can start with getting me out of these handcuffs please," Ash said.

"Oh, yes, of course," Jenny said to him and reached behind Ash to unlock his handcuffs.

With Ash's hands finally free, he brought them in front of him and rubbed his wrists. They had red circles on them made from the handcuffs. Then Ash went over to his Pokéballs on the table and put them back onto his belt. Pikachu jumped back on his shoulder and said,

"Pi pika pi." He said this to Jenny and Natalie.

"Well if you two will excuse me, I must be going," Jenny said to Ash and Natalie. Then Jenny left the brig to go back up on deck.

"I hope that you can forgive me Ash. It's just that I've gotten my other Pokémon, a Golduck, stolen before, and even though I got it back, once I saw you with my Wooper, there was no doubt in my mind that you had stolen it from me. But you didn't, so I hope you can accept my appology."

"I forgive you. I'm a very forgiving guy, so it's no big deal," Ash said to her. "And so is Pikachu."

"Pi chu pikachu," he said with a smile on it's face.

"Thanks Ash, Pikachu. I feel really bad for putting you through all of this," Natalie said in a sad tone.

"Don't worry about it. These things happen. And if I was in your shoes, I would have acted the same way," Ash said to her.

"Well with that over with, the next time I see you will probably be at the compotition tomarrow. I know you'll be hard to beat if you got fourth in the Hoenn League, but if I get to battle you, I'll give you a battle you'll never forget," Natalie said.

"What compotition?" Ash asked.

"You mean you don't know?" Natalie questioned surprized.

"Know what?" Ash said confused.

"There's going to be a water Pokémon battle tournament starting tomarrow and for the next couple of days," Natalie answered.

"Really? Where can I sign up for it?"

"You can go down to the Pokémon center and sign up there," Natalie said. "Do you know where it is?"

"Well, no. I don't. I just got one this ship close to an hour ago and I havn't visited the Pokémon center yet."

"I know where it is, follow me," Natalie said to Ash.

Natalie and Ash left the brig and started to head towards the Pokémon center.

When they finally got there, Ash went over to the front desk where Joy was and said,

"Can I still sign up for the water Pokémon compotition?"

"Sure you can. Just tell me your name and the Pokémon that you'll be using for the battle tomarrow," Nurse Joy said to Ash.

"Uh, how many Pokémon can I use tomarrow?" Ash asked her.

"You can use only one Pokémon for your Pokémon battle tomarrow."

"Only one huh. Well I guess I'll go with my Totodile," Ash answered.

"And what's your name?" Joy asked him.

"I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town."

A few key strokes on her computer later Joy said,

"Okay Ash. You and your Totodile are registered for your battle. Just show up on deck tomarrow before 11:00 A.M."

"Thanks Nurse Joy," Ash said.

"Your welcome Ash, now if you'll excuse me," and Nurse Joy went over to another person who was by the front desk near were Ash is.

"Well, I don't have my Totodile with me here, but I can get it transfered to me here from Professor Oak," Ash said to Natalie. The he and Natalie went over to the teleporter and called Professor Oak.

This time Professor Oak answered and said,

"Hi Ash, always good to hear from you."

"Hey Professor, when I tried to call you about a half an hour ago no one anwered. Where were you?" Ash asked him.

"Oh, well, I was out in the field conducting some research and Brock and Max were with me. Why did you call?"

"I am going to be in a water Pokémon battle tomarrow so I need my Totidile here with me. Can you send it over, please?"

"Yes, I can, but you need to send one of your Pokémon back here before I can send you Totodile."

"Okay. I'll send you my Swellow," Ash said then got out his Pokéball with his Swellow in it and placed it in the transporter.

"It's in the transporter Professor."

The transporter activated and the Pokéball vanished. Then a couple of seconds later, another Pokéball, a Lureball, appeared on the transporter and Ash picked it up.

"I got it Professor. Thanks."

"Is that all that you needed Ash?"

"Yeah Professor, that's all for now I guess."

"Okay I have to go. I'll talk to you later Ash, bye."

"Bye Professor," Ash said and then the screen went blank. Ash hung up the phone and put his Lureball on his belt.

"Well it was nice meeting you Natalie but I must be going," Ash said.

"Wait a second. You said that you had just gotten on this ship not too long ago?" Natalie asked.

"Yes, I did, so?"

"So, you don't know your way around the ship. It's really big so it's easy to get lost. How about I take you and your Pikachu on a tour of the ship. I've been on it before so I know where everything is. What do ya say, Ash?"

"Well, okay. Pikachu and I don't have anything better to do. Where to first?"

"Well, lets see. You've already been in the brig, the Pokémon center, and you know where the passengers' rooms are. So I thought that you and I could go to the swimming pools first. How about it? Wanna take a swim with me?"

"Sure, just let me go to my room first to get my swim suit," Ash said.

"And just to make sure that you don't get lost, I'll go with you," Natalie said.

"Okay, lets go."

Ash, Pikachu, and Natalie went back to Ash's room and when Ash opened the door, he said to Natalie,

"Can you wait out here while I change into my swim suit. Misty is already in the shower so I will have to change in my room, okay?"

"Sure, I'll wait. But don't take long," Natalie said.

Ash went inside and closed the door. He went over to his backpack and searched through it for his swim suit. It took him a while but he finally found it. He took it out and quickly jumped into it. Then he just grabbed his sunsreen, towel, and his sunglasses and then he was just about to leave when he heard Misty say on the other side of the bathroom door,

"Is that you Ash?"

"Yeah. Pikachu and I were just going to take a swim. I'll see you later, bye."

And then Ash and Pikachu left the room and rejoined Natalie outside of room 183.

"I remember you coming in. I was just about to say I was gonna join you but since I had just taken a shower, I decided not to," Misty said.

"That's too bad, it was a good swim. You would have loved it."

"Well that's in the past and there will always be more chances to swim. Anyway, go on, tell me more. What happened next?" Misty asked anxious to hear more.

"Well okay, then..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well there's part 6 of this saga "New Beginnings" and I thought it turned out pretty well considering on what I had to do. I would like to tell you something that I'm sorry about. Originally parts 6 and 7 were supposed to be one part but it turned out to be so large, I had to cut it into two seperate parts (6 and 7). I'm sorry how part six ended, because I usually don't end stories in a cliff hanger. Please review. That's all for now. Misty101803 signing off.
