The Forbidden Kingdom, Book One: The Search, Chapter One: The Talk Show,

As told by Mike,

"The Forbidden Kingdom received its name from an old tale of two kids from an ancient unknown tribe that went into the area and never came back. The land was rumored to be filled with mountains of gold, and unlimited supply of fruit, and some of the rarest most powerful Pokemon ever. But after the two kids never returned and search teams couldn't find them or the kingdom anywhere, it was restricted that anyone ever return or look for the kingdom." said by a DJ on an A.M. Radio talk show, "The Hangout".

SWITCH!!! Serge turned off his radio alarm clock and headed for the shower to get ready for school. After he took a shower he got dressed, grabbed a Pop Tart, and ran out the door to meet his girl friend, Kate at the bus stop.

While on the bus over the loud notice of kids talking about the newest trick they taught there Pokemon to do or a battle they just participated in Kate was trying to listen to "The Hangout" that if you trying hard enough you could hear in the background.

"You don't actually believe in this crap do you?" Serge said.

"Hey if you heard all the stories I’ve heard about this place it's kind of hard not to" Kate says while lightly punching Serge in the arm.

Then the bus stops at my stop. I hop on and sit behind Serge and Kate. My name is Mike, and I’ve been friends with Serge forever but ever since he’s been going out with Kate he's been ditching me for her a lot. I can't blame him; Kate is a very pretty girl with a great personality. To top that all off she’s a pro with training Pokemon for pets. Her and Serge are perfect together. Both are the life of practically any event they go to.

"Hey Mike you ever hear of the "Forbidden Kingdom"?" Kate said.

"Yes, it's that place they recently found a clue the suggests that the story is true." Mike said.

"It would be cool to go check that place out sometime and catch some rare Pokemon. To bad we would have no way to get there." Serge said.

"What are you talking about? You just said the whole thing was a load of crap!" Kate said.

"Actually Serge the "Forbidden Kingdom" is supposed to be located in a large forest in Northern Canada. If we could raise some money and talk are parents into it, it wouldn't be to hard to go during summer vacation."

"Hold it you idiots! One we don't know where it is! Two were not strong enough to go there by ourselves, were not exactly backpacking through woods people no matter how close this place is to our home in Northern Minnesota! Three in order to catch rare powerful Pokemon you need to have some powerful Pokemon to weaken then down and your little Squritle wont cut it Serge! And finally like our parents are just going to let us 3 go on an unsupervised adventure to and unknown place that could be dangerous!" Kate said.

Screech!!! The bus stopped and everyone got off.

Serge picked up his backpack and hugged Kate goodbye.

"Yes, I guess you right about the whole Kingdom thing Kate. I'll see you at lunch" Serge said.

Then Serge and I walked to our first class of the day, American History in Mrs. Claywood's class. Today’s class was nothing special. Same old boring class, same old boring teacher, and same old annoying jocks that can't keep their mouth shut. Then when the class was about halfway done another teacher, Mr. Saygrade, walks in.

"Quick turn on the TV! There’s just been an unbelievable sighting around where the area where Forbidden Kingdom is supposed to be!" Mr. Saygrade said.

"Ow Geez you don't believe this crap do you?" Serge yelled out.

"Serge that’s a warning!" Mrs. Claywood said.

So Mrs. Claywood went and turned on the TV. Near the area apparently there were some extremely unusual lights and very odd shaped flying Pokemon.

"The sky started flashing red and green with trees flying out of the ground and into the air! Then about five large odd shaped flying Pokemon start flying in circles!" a local resident said.

Then the bell rang and it was time to go to the next class, gym in my case. It should be pretty fun because it's our unit on Pokemon battling. Yes, I still have to deal with the fact that there’s a bunch of stuck up football players, and that Serge and Kate are both in the class so Serge’s brain is going to shrink 8 sizes but it's a chance for me to prove myself. I'm no "Poke Master" in anyway but compared to most people I'm very good.

About a year ago Serge, Kate, and I all took Pokemon Trainers classes together. Serge started with Squritle, Kate started with Bulbasaur, and I got a Charmander. The only Pokemon I’ve caught since then was a Pidgot so I’ve had allot of time to train my Pokemon and have a very good bond with both of them. Charmander just evolved into a Charizard about a week ago. At first I was a little afraid that he would no longer listen to me but he’s very loyal. He’s so loyal infact two days ago some jerk tried to steal him he’s busted out and kicked the kids a**!

Serge doesn’t really have the same bond with any of his Pokemon. He's so busy all the time that he just doesn’t have any time to train. With all his hobbies he had to drop something and Pokemon got the short end of the stick. Sometimes he doesn’t even let them out every day. His Squritle is still an Squritle but has learned some cool stuff. Serge’s dad has a Typhlosion that is very loyal to his whole family so in battle Serge can use her. That’s what makes our battles so even.

Kate on the other hand isn't a very big battler. She loves Pokemon, and all animals for that matter, but thinks Pokemon battling should be the Pokemon's choice not the trainers. Her Bulbasaur choose not to evolve but is at a very high experience level. It's so powerful if she ever battled it, it would be very good competition to my Charizard. Her parents also gave her a Rapidash for her birthday. Eversence then she's been a very big and competitive Pokemon racer.

To Be Continued....

Ok next addition it will take place in the gym class and be told from Serge’s point of view.

Please reply if you liked this story. If I get positive replies I'll keep writing if not I'll stop. Regardless of what feedback I get I'll post one more because this is just an intro basically.

PS: I’m new here so if I just wrote a story a little similar to anyone else’s or broke some rule can someone please tell me so I won’t do it again.
