Inside the Lab Chapter 5-Captured It's now another week or so before the end of my 5th quarter of school, and the dangers of the transformation were becoming more obvious. We have also been monitering what could be considered a "growing problem." There are about thirty Renegade Vessels decloaking at a low galactic orbit around Earth. At this point, the vessels seem to growing a fleet for battle, but we do not understand why. To make matters worse, the ship's Medical Hologram has concluded that I may not be in any condition to command the vessel. This was becoming a royal pain in the neck. (I would say other words, but I'll be nice just this time.) He has all but ordered me to resign my command. I have refused his demands, until now. This makes it difficult, because the NorthStar is currently assisting the US Navy by being a carrier ship for some of their planes. "As per NFS Regulation 295," The Doctor started. "I override the Captain's command and order him to resign from NFS Federation on a short term basis. I, at this point have no return date. I will classify J-Mac as Federation Property, on the strict note to keep him in the federation." Talk about HIGHLY Demoted!! I just went from a highly ranked officer to the lowest end of Federation rank! What really sucks is that property does not, and might I add, can not carry any federation ranks. Just like the friendly (NOT) person I was, I took the demotion lightly. I knew that it was the only thing they could do, especially since the entire crew feared that I would die in the captains chair. Now I would have to adapt to limited access to ship and federation systems. Looked like I only had access to the FIA Database, and maybe a few other minor systems. Because of the mission the NorthStar was on, I could not even obtain information regarding the ships location. Now that sucked!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------- "Well, what's this?" Jake questioned the air, seeming surprised. "The Federation is rebelling against him?? " "Jake, you know that's not true." Christopher answered. "They demoted him, to ensure he remains alive." "They also claim him as property!! He's OURS!! WE SAW HIM FIRST!!" "Jake calm down, that is temporary. They did that just to ensure he remains part of the federation." Please not another fight, I knew that everyone was up-tight, but why must they be at each others throats? Aren't they all human beings? I could barely stand listening to the almost consistant fighting happening in the lab, so I decided to keep myself, and Drako, preoccupied. I used my telekensis to keep us both a little "happy." I could tell he knew it was me, because he responded to my telekenetic touches. I could hear him breathing my name, for he knew that it was me, and that I was also in heat. I didn't wish to go into detail in regards to my personal affairs with Drako, but I knew that some minds may be a little too imaginitive. I believe that the worst I had done to him was to mark him as my mate. Using telekensis, he returned the mark, claiming me as his mate. Anyways, I used my powers to fondle him, and sometimes even suckle him. There were a couple of times when we did engage in telepathic mating, each time it was a little more than weird. I had never felt that way before. When I was unable to connect to him, I would feel terrible. Something they called "Seperation Anxiety." "Mina?" Christopher called to me. He had come to the cage. "Yes, sir?" I responded. "It won't be long now, Mina. Soon we will bring him here." Good, I thought. I won't be lonely anymore. Little did they realize what I was doing during their fights, at least until I started suffering from the seperation anxiety. That was when they realized that I had marked him, at least. So they were kind enough to let me go to his house when they went. They were also kind enough to let me do certain things to my sleeping mate. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- My demotion was short lived. Just as I was getting used to my new position as NFS property, something happened to the ship, and they required me to rejoin as Captain. The fleet of Renegade Vessels at started to fire phazors in the water sorrounding the ship. They didn't appear to actually be attempting to hit the ship at all, because each shot was fired at a measured location near the ship. Due to the latest "attacks," the ship is now under level 3 yellow alert. What makes matters worse is that we were still on our service duty with the US Navy. So all of our docking wings are holding Navy Jets. Since our docking wings use tractor beam technology, if the wings lose power, those planes would crash onto the main deck. That would put the ships Main Deck residents in danger. During a short quiet period, I sat in my ready room, reading some new information on the FIA Database. I suddenly felt Mina's paw begin to fondle my private region. Being surprised to the feeling, I flinched a little bit. She used telepathy to settle me down, so I relaxed, and let her continue her fondling. To be honest, I enjoyed the times when she did things like that, but I will not openly admit it. At least not yet. I always looked foward to when, or if, she would use her powers to "visit" me, especially since the seperation anxiety that I suffered when she was not there was terrible. Maybe even worse than dying and going to hell. A few minutes later, her fondling stopped, and I no longer sensed her presence. I knew she had to return to whereever she really was. To make the situation even more interesting was that around the time that the Renegades started showing up, the CPU teams were encountering interesting chase situations. Not to mention that the teams were under an almost constant threat, so every operative had to be using the ACU Black armor systems. So I ended up taking many "side trips" to respond to supervisor presence requests. This was becoming a real pain. It was the final week of the quarter, and the pains of my jobs were now being accompanied by a different pain. By wednesday, the lab computers confirmed that my skeletal structure was begining to collapse. I knew DAT3 was correct in her reasoning that I would not survive after the next full moon, now coming up on monday, if they did not come and retreive me. She reminded me that again she would be unable to finish the experiment for them. "Can I officially call my life over?" I questioned, half serious. "You do, and I will be more than happy to make your un-life miserable." DAT3 responded. "Ooo, I just made up a new word!!" "This sucks..." I retorted. It was D-Day, Monday. I had to goto my school to take the C++ Class final. I was only there about an hour or so. That meant I got some extra time before my RS job. So I logged into the CPU Network for a couple of hours. That was when I got a frightening revolution. I had said the past two weeks were busy with all kinds of weird calls. Chases were people just seemed to vanish right in front of my OPs. Today was different, however. The network was completely dead for the two and a half hours that I was logged in. I went to my RS job, still with the lingering bad feeling that something was wrong. I couldn't stop thinking about the dead period on the network. I mean, CPU is a legal agency, so it is NEVER that dead. Even during slow periods, there are a few calls of minor cases, but there was never a two-hour dead period. Not in the history of CPU. This was a scary thought. I was going to have to see what in the world happened. Little did I know, I would never get the chance to do so. I was at the store for no more than an hour, and it was really busy. A couple of men walked in while I was with a customer. I was selling her a cell phone. They looked like car salesmen, so I decided I could try to greet them. "Anything I can help you two with?" I asked them. "Just finish what your doing, we'll be fine," they answered. Crilan, the manager, was just finishing his sale. He had noticed the two men as well. "How can I help you?" Crilan asked, with a heavy mid-eastern accent. "No, we're here to see Drako," they answered him. "There is noone here by that name." "He is here." "I'm sorry, but you are mistaken." "Sir, We are staring at Drako now." "There is no 'Drako' that works here." "His real name is J-Mac." Crilan just backed down, going to help another customer. I listened to the coversation while I finished programming the phone. I took little time to ring the customer up, help her learn some stuff about her new phone, and let her go. This was more or less my "procedure." Then I went to the two men. "Okay, What can I do for you today?" I asked, fearing their answer. I think I already knew what the answer was. It was going to be something like, "Come with us." "We also need Crilan available for this." was their answer this time. Crilan heard it and quickly finished his sale. "Ok. How can we help?" Crilan asked. "Lets goto your office," the taller of them stated. "We need to talk real quick." Inside the office the conversation got more serious. "I am Jasen Laughlen," the taller one said, pulling out some sort of ID. "Agent Jasen Laughlen of the United States Central Intelligence Agency." "We need Drako for a few days." the shorter man stated. "J-Mac will be with us, serving the country for about three to four days." Jason continued. "We need you to excuse his absence from work for that time period, and allow him to return when he is done." "Sure, I can do that for you," Crilan replied. "When will he be leaving?" "We need him now." "Alright, then. J-Mac I will see you in a few days." They clocked me out and, as I guessed, told me to go with them. So just out of curiousity, and because I obey Government officials, I went with them. Of course I did not get to be awake during my transport to wherever it was they took me. When I woke up, I was sitting in some sort of tank. There was a warm fluid in the tank as well, and I was breathing the fluid!! I looked around and it looked like some sort of lab, similar to my own lab on the ship, but this was not on the ship. I then noticed that I had paws, and a tail. Most of my transformation had already completed. When I looked off to my left, I saw Mina, sitting in a small cage. I touched a paw to the glass. I still had no clue where I was, or what they did to me.
