Return to the Federation-Chapter 3-The Choice

Well I was heading back to my room in the Gs hotel after a long day of training with master. Phew at least we didn't end up in some crazy battle. I was even too tired to maintain my human form, so I reverted to my Mewtwo form, panting heavily as i actually use the key to open the door to my room. I barely noticed my surprise visitors as I trudged to my bed, collapsing onto it.

"Captain are you alright?"

I thought I heard a voice from the past talking to me, Diane. But this illusion was more interesting, I could feel something touching my shoulder. It felt as though somone was in my room, tending to my training wounds. Then I suddenly realized someone was, and there was a moist cloth being applied to my body. Then I heard a familar sound, the beeps of a medical tricorder. I almost tripped out and jumped off the bed, but then I heard the familar voice again.

"Shh, Captain, it's alright."

I opened my eyes to see Diane hovering over me, and I did almost trip out. First, how did she know it was me, even though I was in Mewtwo form? Second, how did she find me? I glance over her shoulder, and see a familar figure also from my past. Mina had brought Diane here, I could tell. They both were in my room, and hovering over me. I was a little freaked out, yet releaved to see my mate.

"Mina?" I slowly asked.

"Yes, love?" she replied.

I had so many questions, but was to afraid to ask. I knew the lab was a terrible place, for all of us. I was willing to guess she found an oppurtunity to get away, but then I noticed her collar.

"Would you like that device off, love?" I asked her.

"That would be great!" she exclaimed, smiling.

Diane took out a small device, they figured out the codings since that last incidents with Stephen before I was taken away apparently. She put the device up to Min's collar and about five seconds later the collar turned off and removed itself from around her neck.

"Thank you Diane," Mina started, tears already in her eyes. "Love they killed our last litter."

"WHAT!!!" I was enraged, tears forming in my own eyes.

She came to me, and we both cuddled together, crying. I could believe that it would happen, but it still hurts to know they had to kill our firstborn litter. I wanted to kill them all, but I knew I wouldn't get away with that. So I just cuddled with my mate and cried with her. Diane watched us for a few minutes, before she finally cleared her throat.

"Captain," she started. "It's time to go."

"Go where?" I questioned.

"To return to your post."

"That's not going to happen," a voice from the door interjected. It was Miya.

"And why not?" Diane asked.

"Well," I started. "One, it's stupid to bring me back, once I take command the Renada will decalre war on the Federation again."

"Two, he now belongs here, with his master Lucky." Miya blurted out.

"And I'd rather not be the cause of the destruction of the ship I hold dear" I finished. "So I'm staying here."

"What about me?" Mina asked.

"I guess master wouldn't mind if you stayed with me." I conjured.

"I'll do that then."

"Diane, take good care of my ship."

"Yes sir," Diane answered.

Diane walked off, followed by Miya. Some time later, Miya returned.

"She's gone," he informed us.

"Thank you Miya. Tomorrow love, you will meet Lucky."

"Ok," Mina replied.

Miya closed the door and went to his room. Mina and myself cuddled close together in the bed. It wasn't long before we mated again, and after we mated, we both collapsed, falling asleep together. I hoped Lucky wouldn't mind having Mina here.
