The Pokemon Project

Part 5

“Son, hello? Tim wake up. Wake up, dude. Wake up, it’s over. It’s all over. Wake up and see for yourself.”

When I woke up, I was sitting in a tank. It was filled with this red, watery fluid. I was actually breathing this stuff. I had wires that went to these monitering computers, literally all over me. Those CIA scientists were all there. Most of them were staring at the monitering computers.

It was five to ten minutes before someone looked in my direction. She was a red-headed scientist. Appaently, this was her first year on the job.

“Docter, he’s awake,” I heard her say to this tall, gray haired man.

“So, he is. Drain the tank and open it.”

The old man was apparently the one in charge. He had very little hair, blue eyes that looked like glasss, we was about 5’ 4” in height, and apparently in good health. He wore a white lab coat like everyone else.

There were quite a few scientists in the lab. These men that were dressed in black suits walked into the lab. They went straight to the old doctor.

“He’ll be just fine,” I heard the doctor say, “the evolution went perfectly. He seems to be doing fine, and he is awake now.”

“Do you think he knows what just happened?” One of the men questioned.

Then I noticed that one of the men was Jake. He was standing behind the precession of men. I new Jake from a lont time ago when I bumped into him at the Dugout. That was when I saw his CIA credunteals. That was when I realized that they were all agents!

“I am… um… quite unsure of that.” The old doctor replied. “He seems to not notice any changes.”

“Then we just might have to let him know what went on while he was out.”

What? What happened? I thought. Then I looked at my hands. Well, they were paws now. I now know what they are talking about! The evolution is completed. But why did they choose me? My mind bagan to race.

“Drain and open the tank. We are done here.”The old doctor comanded.

I sat there. The tank was draining and when it finished draining it opened up.

I could’ve gone somewhere but I just sat there. What was I thinking!

“J-Mac,” Jake said.

“Yes, sir.” I responded.

“Hey it’s me, Jake, you don’t have to adress me like that! Do you remember me? At the Dugout?”

“Yes, sir I do.”

“Now if you would be nice enough to follow me.”

I followed him to a break room. The break room looked more like a livingroom than a breakroom. Hey I wanted to take the DVD player home. I don’t need the VCR or the TV. There were two couches and four chairs, including an old rocking chair in the middle of the room.

“I need to tell you something.” Jake started out.

“There is no need, I already know.” I interupted.

“You do?”

“I have know for quite some time, Jake.”

“Well, then I guess that you don’t need any more info.”

“Nope. Dat3 back on the ship ran complete diagnostics to comfirm the expiriment.”

“I see.”

“So, when can I go back home?”

“As soon as we finish running a few more tests, just to make sure.”

“Jake, just between you and me, who is the other Mewtwo.”

“Honestly I think I should’ve told you that day at the Dugout about her, because you are going to be married to her. Her name is Jessi.”

Oh great. Betrothal. You din’t get to choose who you marry but you still get married. You might not meet them until the marriage. This sucks!

Looking on the bright side, at least Jessi and I grew to like each other.
