Disclaimer: I don’t own anything, I am just a teenager, bored out of my mind... I know everything is owned by someone else, and is respectfully theirs, and if I did own Pokemon, hell there would be a ton of changes, like two pokemon trainers getting together if you catch my drift, but alas, not luck for me. Except for my vivid imagination. Please review once you’re finished to show me some love. Please?

Title: Heaven

Rating: PG-13

Genre: Romance/Fluff

Summary: A nice romantic fluff ^^. Ash and Misty go out for a walk that results in much more than walking. AAML of course with a bit of skinny dipping, always a good thing.

It was a dark night, no one was around, not even Brock; he had volunteered to stay behind and clean up and take care of the Pokemon while Ash and Misty went for a walk. He didn’t mind, he thought the two of them needed more alone time. And of course, he obliged into most of the things they wanted to do alone, hoping something was to come out of it; you see, they haven’t admitted they like each other yet. Misty, still having her crush on him since she had met him, and Ash, not that sure about his feelings, but was starting to admit to himself that he was a babbling idiot when they were in somewhat of a romantic situation. Brock explained it to him as him liking someone, as for Ash used the hypothetical version of, ‘What if my friend...’ and so on.

There were walking down a narrow path, nearing a lake, which Ash had suggested them taking a swim. Bad luck has it, they both didn’t have their bathing suits, which they had left them back at the Pokemon Center in a while ago, when Nurse Joy offered for them to be cleaned, along with most of their other clothes. Nonetheless, Ash was still ready, and willing to get cooled off, even if he would have to skinny dip.

“Ash, no, I’m not going in.” Misty said, crossing her arms over her chest, making her shirt rise a bit.

“Why not? Just because you don’t have your bathing suit it doesn’t mean you can’t go swimming.” he started staring a bit, then snapped himself out of it.

“But, Ash, I can’t...” she pleaded, hoping to change his mind on the matter.

He started taking his vest off, followed by his shirt, and of course Misty started to get interested, but was also curious on why he was getting undressed.

“What are you doing?”

“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m getting undressed so I can go swimming. If you’re not going in, I might as well.” He started fidgeting with the button to his pants and slid them off, then looked up to Misty.

“Turn around.” he said a bit impatiently, not wanting her to see anything.

“Why?”

“Just turn around.”

She sighed and did so, she heard rustling of clothes being either thrown or folded, and a few seconds later she heard a splash, followed by a sigh.

“Ah, Mist you don’t know what you’re missing. The water is so good.” he looked up to her from the water.

“But Ash...” he gave her a puppy dog look, which mixed with a sad smile, a lopsided grin, and those chocolate brown eyes. No one, not even his own mother, could refuse.

“Oh alright...” she gave in, not being able to resist, “But no peeking!” she growled.

“Fine, fine.” He went under, swimming a ways away.

She sighed to herself and started to undress, first her shirt, then she pulled the suspenders off her shoulders and then tugged at her shorts making them fall before she picked them up and folded them neatly, as long as her shirt. She made sure he wasn’t looking then took off the remainder of her clothing. Misty jumped in, immediately feeling how soothing the water was.

“Why isn’t Ash up yet?” she thought to herself.

The next second, Ash came up, around a foot away from Misty, which wasn’t really that far away, with a light blush creeping onto his face, which Misty failed to notice. Even though it was night, it was a clear water lake, and with Ash’s eyes open underwater, he could see everything. Not that he minded or anything, but he wasn’t going to tell Misty. He wasn’t going to spoil his own fun.

“Isn’t the water nice?” He said, trying to shake himself from his dirty thoughts.

She stayed in her exact spot, “Yeah, it’s really soothing; I love swimming at night like this.”

He was caught off-guard by her answer, “Wait, you swam before... in...in...”

“In... in... come on, spit it out Ash.” she asked, mocking him.

“In the nude?” he finished quickly, hoping that she wasn’t able to see the blush on his face due to lack of light.

She smiled at his shyness, and decided she would be having some fun tonight, “Yeah, I do it a lot when I’m alone... it makes me feel much better after a long, hard,” she emphasized that word, knowing that was Ash’s weak spot at this moment, “day, after building up a sweat walking.” she finished with the smile still on her face.

She saw his hand move lower, and she smiled inwardly to herself, knowing what he was doing at that movement; most likely repeating the phrase ‘down boy’ in his head. She started swimming around, avoiding Ash’s gaze. She started doing the breaststroke so he could see some of her back and her legs, teasing him, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

He was praying she would do the backstroke, but sadly, no avail. He cursed to himself, being sixteen had its advantages, and definitely had it’s downfalls. He hoped that Misty wouldn’t open her eyes underwater, but he had no choice, only to wait it out. It wasn’t like he was embarrassed by his... manliness... he was quite proud, inside. He just didn’t want to be tormented by Misty, but her attention was always appreciated by him, good or bad, teasing or kindness, he loved it, and just recently realized, he loved her. He wouldn’t believe it at first, then he saw her wearing a very nice blue dress, and the world slipped away when she had asked him to dance. That was one of his favorite memories, and he was sure they would have many more to look forward to.

She wanted to get him to give in to something, she had heard from Brock that the reason he was more friendly with her was because he had a secret for her, something that she should only hear from him. By the way he was always acting, she would gladly think it was for the better. Like winning a tournament, or catching a rare, and extinct pokemon. But the thought in the back of her mind, screaming to her, was, He loves you, you idiot! Go for it! She would never trust that voice though. She thought that one was just out of pure hope, or want, possibly even lust every day in and day out. She had definitely matured, nearing seventeen, she had grown perfectly into her frame and wasn’t at all scrawny, she was breathtaking, in Ash’s opinion, he thought she was a goddess, but he wouldn’t tell her that, would he?

He watched her swim back and forth, doing numerous swimming techniques that drove him wild, but he couldn’t do anything about it really, he just wanted to hold her in his arms, tell her that she is the most beautiful thing on the planet, in the universe, and he wanted to kiss her, oh, how he wanted to kiss her. He had never done it before, except for occasionally the kiss on the cheek, or under the mistletoe. He had never french kissed anyone and was willing to try. Only with Misty though, he wanted his first real kiss to be special, not by some random girl off the street, he wanted her.

“Problem, Ash?” she asked him politely, swimming up to him.

His heart stopped.

“She let her hair down.. She never does that... God she’s so beautiful... if only-“

“Ash?” she waved a hand in front of his face, “Anyone home? Or did they just leave the lights on?” she asked with a smile as he snapped out of his little reverie.

“Huh? Oh, no, nothing’s wrong, Mist.” he said, using her nickname. He knew she liked that. The smile appeared on her face once again as the words left his mouth and he smiled back at her.

“You look tense.” she said swimming around him, going behind him.

He turned his head only see her hands appear on his shoulders as she started to massage them. The little song played in his head, Heaven... I must be in... Heaven...

She smiled as she felt him loosen up, but just as she let go he went underwater.

“Strange...” she thought.

She could feel a strong tug at her legs as she went under, keeping her eyes closed -she didn’t want to irritate them again- and swam back to the surface, only to see a Ash, laughing and grinning at her.

“Oh? You want rough, eh?” She reached up and grabbed his head instead of his shoulders, she meant to pull him down underwater, but only achieved in pulling his head down inches away from her own. She didn’t want to move, she couldn’t. She felt like she was paralyzed. So she did the only thing she could possibly think of.

He moved forward slightly, wanting to kiss her like he had always wanted to, but in a strange turn of events, she was moving closer too, so he proved the voices shouting in his head wrong, the voices calling him a loser, a wimp, saying that he couldn’t even get enough courage to kiss her. But...

Their lips touched lightly at first, savoring each other for a moment. They closed their eyes and Misty subconsciously wrapped her arms around his neck, drawing him closer to her, and Ash put his arms underwater to reach around her bare waist, pulling her even closer. He wanted to, so he opened his mouth a bit and slid his tongue across Misty’s lips, wanting to gain entrance, which she happily obliged, as they began to kiss with more passion, and they were both enjoying it to the fullest.

They broke for a second, looking into each other’s eyes, before Misty pulled Ash’s head down in order for their lips to crash together passionately, finally letting out all of the built up emotion that had been growing stronger year after year.

They were on cloud nine; the thought that they were dreaming passed each one of their minds before entering complete bliss by continuing to kiss with more energy and force. Misty started leaning forward to gain her balance, but instead pushed Ash off his balance and made him fall backwards, bringing herself down with him, with them in still mid-lip lock.

A couple seconds later, they resurfaced; Ash with his hair matted to his face, and Misty with her hair floating around her on the surface of the water. They were not completely up, only above their nose, as they were inches away from each other again.

Suddenly they burst out laughing, for no reason at all, or just for making complete fools out of themselves.

“I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me.” she said with a visible blush on her cheeks matching his own, putting her arm behind her head, like he usually did, and he smiled at her adoringly.

“Sorry for what, really?” he asked her with sincerity in his voice.

“Sorry...” she paused, gathering the courage, and the knowledge, “sorry, for not doing it sooner.” she answered truthfully.

He smiled at her and she mirrored his facial expression.

“Ash, well, what I’ve been wanting to tell you is that,-“

“I’m in love with you.” he said, cutting her off, and practically reading her thoughts.

She beamed, grinning from ear to ear, and she rushed towards him and hugged him, pushing herself up against him, forgetting she was naked. She didn’t care, (even though he turned a bright shade of purple), neither did he. He loved the feeling of her warmth invading his own; it was heaven. He was definitely in heaven. Now, to break it to Brock. Now that wouldn’t be easy.

She moved a little bit back from him, still holding onto him, “I’m in love with you too.” she smiled as they kissed again, briefly this time.

“What’s Brock going to say?” she whispered to him, her face extremely close to his.

They weren’t aware of a presence overshadowing them, as they gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes, but broke out of their daydreaming when they heard a voice.

“Brock’s going to say it’s about damn time.” Brock interrupted, holding Misty’s clothes in one hand, and Ash’s in the other. You could say they were both shocked and embarrassed.

“Brock!” Misty slumped down, not wanting to reveal herself to him, but pushed herself up to Ash, making him seem a little uncomfortable in certain areas, and she felt him brush against her waist. Her eyes widened a bit, and she backed away, giving him a shy smile.

Brock smiled and shook his head, dropping the clothes closer to the edge of the lake and started walking away, muttering, “Kids.”

Misty moved back to him, and hugged him tightly, not removing her hands from his arms, and put her head on his shoulder.

Ash and Misty smiled at each other, with Misty still gripping onto him, “You know, could you let the circulation flow through my arms? Not like I needed them anyway.” he grinned as she let go abruptly, rubbing his arms.

“Oh! I’m sorry!” she looked up to him and kissed him on the cheek, “Well I guess I’ll have to make up for that later, now, turn.”

“Huh?”

“Turn.” she repeated again.

Ash sighed and turned around, hearing the splash of someone getting out.

“Don’t peek.” she said, wrapping a towel around herself.

“I won’t.” he said, but slyly adding, “yet.”

“Ash!” she got dressed quickly and stood there, looking at him, waiting for him to get out.

“Hey if I couldn’t look, you can’t look.” he said, mocking her tone.

She sighed and turned around, waiting as he got dressed. When he finished he went up to her,

“What do you mean you’ll make up for it later?” he asked with a smug grin.

“You’ll find out later.” she said, starting to walk away.

“I want to know!”

“Then catch me!” she started running down the forest trail with Ash on her tail.

“I want to know!!!” he whined, chasing after her. ‘Damn, she runs fast!’ he thought to himself while trying to catch up to her.

End.
