Part 1: The Brides and Rivals Arrive



	Our heros, have decided to head to the kanto reigon to visit proffesor oak, recently Proffesor 
Oak had called ash to tell him that he had present for him and also to visit Ash's mom.Although as they 
headed to the route that led to Pallet town and Pewter city Brock announced that he had to visit his 
parents to see how they were doing.That left Ash and Dawn to head to Pallet town 
together.\tab\tab\tab\par
	"Hey Ash, I bet your mom embaresses you." Dawn asked Ash cheerfully. "Don't all parents do" 
Ash replied. "Tee hee, I guess your right" Dawn replied. "Hey Ash how old are you" Dawn asked Ash. 
"13, why do you ask?" ash replied. "Just wanted to know" Dawn replied. "Hey Dawn - " Ash's sentence 
was interrupted as they arrived in Pallet Town, but something was different, it was snowing. Ash took 
Pikachu out of his backpack and showed him the winter wounderland "Wake up Pikachu" Ash told 
him.Pikachu woke up half asleep but woke up fully instantly when he saw the  winter wounderland 
"pika" Pickachu said amazed at the winter wounderland "Ash its cold brrrrr" Dawn told Ash as she was 
shivering."Your right, we have to head to my house hurry let's go brrrrrrrr." Ash told Dawn as he was 
shivering too. Ash and Dawn headed to Ash's house to warm up. As Ash entered he felt a pair of arms 
wrap around him.\par
	"My little baby, did you remember to wear clean underwear today?" it was Ash's mom. "I can 
see why you think she's embaressing" Dawn told Ash as she giggled. "Who's this" Ash's mom asked. 
"I'm Dawn, Ash's friend" Dawn told her."Hey Ash." Ash knew that voice, it was a familiar voice.Ash 
turned around and it was no other than May."Hey, Ash long time no see, My parents asked your mom 
if I could stay here while they and Max went on vacation, I would have went to,but i got in trouble at 
home for breaking my mom's "Special Vase" that cost her a fortune" May then turned to Dawn " I bet 
Ash has been causing you a lot of trouble, Dawn." Dawn just slightly laughed."What happened to 
brock" May asked Ash."Right here." Brock entered with a tall figure behind him.\par
	Pikachu rushed out of Ash's backpack and right into the tall figures arms."Hi Ash, I see your 
taking good care of Pikachu."The mysterious figure was no other than Misty."Misty" Ash replied 
surprised at her arrival."Hello Ash, May, Mrs.Ketchum, and who's this."Misty grinned as she looked at 
Ash."so you got yourself a new girlfriend, huh  Ash?""Girlfriend!"Ash replied shocked."I'm, I'm not his 
girlfriend!"Dawn replied blushing slightly."um, anyway Mrs. ketchum what did proffesor Oak 
want?Brock replied curious."Oh, Ash, your dad is back, this will be your first times seeing him since you 
were 3!" "My dad?!" he replied both exited and puzzled."Yes Ash, your dad, he left to become the 
greatest pokemon master ever, he ever won the world tournement just last week and I told Professer 
Oak to tell you to come here as a surprise, he's been traveling for ten years.""Well what are we waiting 
for, lets go and visit him!" Ash said eagerly.
	"Sure lets go right now, Misty,May,Dawn,Brock would all of you like to come too?"Everyone 
agreed and Misty gave Pikachu to Ash.The gang headed to Proffesor Oaks Labratory."Ash long time no 
see, I bet you can't wait to see your father."Proffesor Oak told Ash."Hi Proffesor Oak." Dawn said. 
"Good to see you Dawn.Ash rushed past proffesor Oak and right to his living room and saw someone 
sipping tea in the room.
	"Hey Ash haven't seen you in a long time, Are you staying long enough for the festival?" It was 
no other than Tracy. "what festival" Ash replied back " Your dad will tell you, man I can't wait for the 
festival anyway, I bet your looking for your dad." Tracy said."Yes i'm trying to look for him, Proffesor 
Oak told me that he would be here today."Ash replied back "He's in the back playing with the rest of 
your pokemon."Tracy replied back. "Alright, thanks come on Pikachu,lets go." "Pika pika" Pikachu 
repiled back.Ash rushed to the Back of the labrotory.
	"Dad are you here?" Ash saw a figure playing with his Bulbasaur."Hello your Ash if I can recall 
right?" The mysterious figure said. It was none other than Drew. "Drew, what are you doing here?" 
Ash said to him."I came for the festival." Drew Replied "Festival, What festi- oh never mind have you 
seen a guy around here?" Ash replied. "The only man that I know that came here was the winner of 
the pokemon world tournement, thats what he told me at least." Drew responded. "Where did he 
go?" Ash replied. "He went inside in the research lab with Proffesor Oak" Drew replied.
	Ash rushed inside the lab and sliped on the slipery floor and fell flat on his back looking up he 
saw a mysterious figure. "I can see your very clumsy, your Ash right Dawn told me all about you." Ash 
was expecting his father to be looking down at him, but it was none other than Kenny, Dawn's 
childhood friend."Dawn told me that you were looking for your father, right?" "Yes have you seen him, 
Me and Pikachu are very eager to see him, right buddy? "Pika Pika" Pikachu responded."What are you 
here for Kenny, wait let me guess your here for the festival." "How did you Know?" Kenny responded 
back. "Just had a lot of experience" Ash said. "Well anyway have you seen my dad?" Ash said to 
Kenny. "He told me that he went into proffesor Oak's living room" Kenny replied back.Ash and Pikachu 
rushed into the living room to meet Ash's father.When he entered he saw 1 figure in the room alone.
	"Hello Ash i haven't seen you since you were 3 years old."it was none other than Ash's dad. 
Ash sat down and told his father of all the adventures him and pikachu had and his father told Ash of 
all of his adventures."Hey son are you going to the festival?" Ash's dad said " what festival is that?" Ash 
replied back. "You havent heard of the Pallet Town love festival? His father replied. "Love festival?!" 
Ash said "I can't quite remember the legend clearly, maybe you should ask your mother, everybody 
went to our house with your mother so maybe you should go there if you want to hear the legend.
	Ash and Pikachu headed tword his house and were stopped by May."Ash, can I talk to you for 
a minute?" Ash and Pikachu continued to his house with may in their party."Ash, Its been a year since 
we've ever talked like this, hasn't it."May said "You said you wanted to tell me something, what was 
it?" Ash said. They approached Ash's house just when May was about to answer his question.Ash and 
Pikachu entered and asked Ash's mom about the love festival legend.
	"Well Ash, the love festival is a special time where two lovers go to spend the night 
together.At the end of the festival, if all goes well between the lovers, they will be together forever, 
the tradition started a long time ago when two lovers were killed during a great war in this very town 
on Pallet Peak, but it is known to lovers as Lovers peak and we celebrate the love that the two lovers 
had for each other by having a big festival that only lovers go to." Ash's mom explained to him."When 
is it?" Ash replied.
	"It takes place 15 days from now." Ash's mom said."That means you have 15 days to get a date, 
Ash."Ash's mom said as she teased him."A Date!!!" Ash replied slightly blushing. "Who are you going 
to invite?" "Misty, May , or Dawn?"Ash's mom teased him. "Mom, please don't embaress me!"Ash 
went to bed and awote the next day.
