The New Duelests Part 1

    “I gotta beat her”, I said sleepily. I’m dueling my best friend, Sam.

Maybe I should start with my name. My name is Shelly Cordray. I just 

got into a new game call Duel Monsters. Me and Sam love to duel.

We looked at our hand. There was a flash and we were sucked

into a vortex. When it ended we were both knocked out. 

     “I found them laying on the ground”

I opened slowly opened my eyes. I looked around.

     “Hey, I think one of them awake”

“Where am I? And who are you.” I said confused.

I turned around and saw Sam still sleeping. I shook Sam till she 

woke up. 

“Where are we?” Sam asked me.

 “Your at my house, guys” said the kid with puzzle around his neck.

“Who are you guys anyway?" Sam asked.

 “I’m Yugi Moto”, said the puzzle kid.

 “I’m Joey Wheeler”, said the blonde kid.

 “And I’m Tristan Taylor” the browned headed kid.

 “I’m Ryou Bakura”, said the white headed kid.

 “And I’m Teah Gardener” said the girl.

 “Hi, I’m Shelly Cordray”, I said.

 “And I’m Samantha Boyd” Sam said

I looked around once more and found my hat lying on a table.

I took it and put it on.

 “Hey guys we should get going to get our stuff for the tournament”, said Joey.

 “Tournament, cool!  Can I enter”, I shouted.

 “Ok, Come on”, said Yogi.

 “Yeah”, I said, jumping up and down.

 “Can I enter too?”  Sam asked.

 “Sure come with me”, Yugi said

We walked out of Yugi’s house.

 “Welcome to Domino City”, Yugi said happily

 We walked to the duelest care shop.

Yugi walked up to the clerk. He opened his mouth to talk, but the clerk pointed

to the number machine. Yugi took a number and came to sit down with us.

He looked at the number. It was125.

 “Hi guys, we have to wait awhile," Yugi said.

 “I need number 125 up at the desk," said the clerk

 “Hey that’s us, guys," Sam said.

 “Ok let’s go” I said

We walked up to the counter and got our duel disks and locator cards.

 “Bye guys, I going to go find someone to duel” I said

 “I’m going to go with. If I know Shelly she’ll need me. That I want to duel 
too," Sam said.

We ran out of the door and into the city.

 “So where should go first, Shelly?” Sam asked me.

 “That way” I pointed north and ran off.

 “Hey Shelly wait for me” she ran after me.

I stopped.

 “Hey Shelly why did you stop” I just stood and stared. She looked up, and saw a 
guy. ”Oh”

He started to walk over to me. I was starting to getting neverous.

 “Hi I’m Lance Suzaku," He said.

 “Hi, I’m Shelly Cordray” I said to him.

 “And I’m Samantha Boyd” Sam said.

 “Will you duel me?” I asked

 “Sure” Lance answered

 “We started to duel.

 “ I’ll go first, I play Beaver Warrior in attack mode” I said.

 “ Ok my turn, I play Vampire Orchis in defense mode” Lance said.

 I drew a card from my deck. It was Fissure. I added it to my hand. In my hand 
there were Sangan, The Eye of Truth, Change of Heart, Continuous Destruction 
Punch, Union Rider, and Fissure. 

 “I play Sangan in Attack mode, Beaver Warrior attack his Vampire Orchis.
