The Team Rocket Rumble
Part 5
Narrator: After their encounter with TR, Ash, Misty, and Brock continue their journey to Pallet Town.
Misty: (complaining) Can we please stop and rest for a while? My feet are killing me!
Ash: (sitting down) Oh ok.
Brock: Hey guys, good news. We're almost there.
Misty: Finally.
Brock: Just as long as we have no more interruptions, if ya know what I mean.
TR had been showing up more and more lately, and they were almost certain they'd show up again.
Meanwhile...
Two shadowed figures are seen in front of a screen.
Giovanni: (on screen) Those two bumbling idiots have failed me again. I want you two to change them for the better.
Butch: Your wish is our command.
Cassidy: That Jessie and her stupid partner James won't fail you anymore. We will take full control of them.
Giovanni: Good. I will leave you two to your business. Don't fail me.
The screen clicks off.
Cassidy: (smiling evilly) This is going to so perfect.
Butch: Those two will finally see that we are much more capable of getting the job done. So what's the plan?
Cassidy: We'll use Drowzee's hypnotic powers like we did back on the Orange Islands, only we'll have to reverse the hypnotic waves.
Butch: But how will we find them?
Cassidy: Well, they're always following that kid with the Pikachu, right?
Butch: Yeah, so?
Cassidy: So if we follow the kid then it'll probably lead to them.
Butch: Perfect...
Later...
Ash, Misty, and Brock approach a small town.
Ash: Hey, what's this place?
Brock: Hmm...the map says its a place called Cloudy City.
Misty notices a huge tower off to the right.
Misty: What's that big tower over there?
Brock: I don't know. We might as well find a place to stock up on potions.
Ash: Yeah.
Ash and Brock leave while Misty still stares at that tower.
Misty: This seems so familiar.
Ash: Hey Mist! You coming?
Misty: Yeah, wait up.
She catches up to them.
In the bushes...
James: There they are. What's our plan this time?
Jessie: Maybe we should try a sneak attack.
Meowth: Hey, I know!
Jessie: Forget it Meowth! Your dumb plans never work!
Meowth: I don't see you two comin' up with anything!
Cassidy: Well, I have an idea.
They all turn around.
TR: Huh?
Jessie: Oh, what are you two doing here?!
Cassidy: Oh, now that's no way to talk to your fellow teammates.
James: Well, what are you doing here anyway?
Butch: The boss thinks you've been slacking off.
Meowth: Uh-oh.
Butch: He instructed us to toughen you three up.
Meowth: What are ya talkin' about?! We're the toughest team around!
Cassidy: He wants more than just tough...he wants evil.
Jessie: E-evil? We already are evil! Besides, we don't want your help or need it!
Cassidy: Ha, that's what you think. You don't have a choice.
Butch: Now Drowzee!
Drowzee: Drowzee-drowzee!
Jessie: Huh?
James: What's...it...doing?
Meowth: Ugh...not again...
Cassidy: Perfect, its working.
Drowzee takes full control of TR. They each have there own evil looking glare.
Butch: Good job Drowzee.
Cassidy: Now you'll obey us.
TR: Yes master.
Later...
Ash, Misty, and Brock are in a store buying items.
Brock: Well, is that it?
Ash: Yeah, I think.
Brock: Ok, I'll pay for it. You two can wait outside.
They nod and walk out. Misty finds a bench and sits down, Ash sits next to her.
Ash: I can't wait until we get home.
Pikachu: Pika pi.
Misty: Me neither.
Togepi: Choki prii!
Misty puts Togepi down so it can play with Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pipipi. (Hi there Togepi.)
Togepi: Choki choki. (Hi Uncle Pikachu.)
Pikachu starts to play with Togepi using its tail.
Misty: Aww...that's so cute.
Ash: Yeah. (looking up) Its been such a long week.
Misty: Yeah, I know. Don't remind me.
Misty rests her head on top of Ash's shoulder and he instinctively puts his arm around her. Misty closes her eyes.
Pikachu: Pikapi chu pikachupi. (Ash really loves Misty.)
Togepi: Choki choki prii! (Mommy and Daddy love each other!)
Misty sighs.
Ash: Is something wrong?
Misty: No, everything's just perfect.
Ash smiles and pulls her into a light hug.
Brock: (coming out) Ok, come on you two. Time to go to the pokemon center.
Ash/Misty: Ok.
They head off to the pokemon center.
Ash: Nurse Joy, could you please revitalize our pokemon?
Nurse J.: Of course!
Brock: (girl-mode) Uh, uh Nurse Joy, its a pleasure to meet you. My name's Brock.
Nurse J.: Uh, hi Brock.
Misty: (rolling her eyes) Oh no.
Nurse J.: Oh, before I forget, would your name happen to be Ash?
Ash: Yeah, that's me.
Nurse J.: You have a message.
She hands him a folded up piece of paper then leaves to heal their pokemon.
Ash: Thank you. Hmm...
Misty: What's it say?
Ash: Let's see..."Come to the old tower in the middle of the city."
Brock: Who's it from?
Ash: It doesn't say. Well, what do we do?
Brock: Maybe we should check it out.
Ash: Ok.
Misty: Are you guys sure about this? I mean, this could be some sort of trap.
Brock: Actually, she could be right.
Ash: You two worry too much.
Nurse J.: Ash, your pokemon are all done.
Ash: Oh, thanks Nurse Joy. How are ya feeling Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pikachu! (Great!)
Ash: Your up for a little adventure aren't ya?
Pikachu: Pika...pi pikachu. (Well...I guess.)
Ash: Great, then let's go.
Misty: (sarcastically) Terrific.
They leave then head towards the mysterious tower.
Ash: Well, we're here.
Pikachu: (scared) Pikachu.
Misty: This place gives me the creeps.
Togepi: (scared) Prii.
It tucks itself inside of Misty's backpack.
Brock: Come on, let's get this over with.
Inside...
Cassidy: They're falling right for our trap.
Butch: You three know what to do right?
TR: We destroy them.
Downstairs...
Ash, Misty, and Brock are just entering the tower.
Ash: Hello! Is anybody here?
Misty: Well, no one's here, let's go.
Ash: Not so fast. We just got here. Let's look around.
Misty: I was afraid you were going to say that.
All of a sudden they hear a creaking sound.
Misty: (hiding behind Ash) Wha-what was that?
Ash: I don't know.
Brock: Well, I don't see anyone here so why don't we go.
Cassidy: Hold it right there!
Ash: Huh? Who's there?
Butch and Cassidy come out of no where and land in front of them.
Cassidy/Butch: Prepare for trouble and make it double!
Cassidy: To infect the world from devastation.
Butch: To plight all peoples in every nation.
Cassidy: To denounce the goodness of truth and love.
Butch: To extend our wrath to the stars above.
Cassidy: Cassidy!
Butch: Butch!
Cassidy: TR circling the earth all day and night.
Butch: Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight.
Raticate: Raticate!
Ash: Not you two again.
Butch: This time we're not alone.
3 figures are hidden in the shadows.
Misty: Huh? TR? But I thought you guys hated each other, what gives?
Butch: We did, but we've recently found new ways of working together.
Drowzee: Drowzee.
Ash: Oh no. Its that same Drowzee.
Misty: Hey Ash, what if its using its psychic powers like last time.
Ash: Then that means they have complete control over them.
Brock: Uh...mind filling me in?
Misty: We'll explain it to ya later.
TR smile evilly.
Cassidy: We'll leave this to you 3.
Brock: What's wrong with them? They seem...different.
Jessie: (evilly) That's because we are.
James: We're not the same pushovers you once knew.
Meowth: Yeah, now hand over all your pokemon or else.
Ash: Or else what?
Meowth: Or else we destroy you.
Misty: Huh? D-destroy us?
Ash: Come on you guys, snap out of it. You wouldn't destroy us.
Jessie: Don't push us.
TR bring out these miniature lasers.
Brock: What are those?
Cassidy: Those are electricity filled lasers.
Butch: Very dangerous. It probably has more electricity than your Pikachu could ever produce.
They aim their lasers at the trio.
James: This is your last warning. Give us your pokemon.
Ash: Forget it!
Meowth: Then you leave us no choice.
Ash stands in front of Misty protectively.
Ash: Stand back.
Misty: But Ash-
Ash: Just do it.
Misty: (thinking) Hey! I know.
She digs through her bag and finds a mirror.
Misty: Perfect.
She hides it behind her back.
Misty: (pushing through Ash) Come on TR! Give me your best shot!
Ash: (holding her back) Are you crazy!? You'll get killed.
Misty: Don't worry. I have an idea.
Ash: Huh?
Butch: She's nuts.
Ash: (sighs) Be careful.
Misty: You know I will.
She faces TR.
Misty: Well, come on! What are you waiting for?
Jessie: I admire your courage, but it won't help you once your burned to a crisp.
Brock: I hope she knows what she's doing.
Ash: She does.
Cassidy: Hmm...that kid's up to something.
Misty starts to walk up to them.
Misty: Well, come on!
Jessie: You asked for it.
Ash: (thinking) This better work. I would never forgive myself if anything happened to her.
TR aim their lasers at Misty.
Jessie: Ready!
James: Aim!
Meowth: Fire!
They fire their lasers at the same time. At the last second, Misty pulls out her mirror, which reflects the electricity back at TR.
Cassidy: Oh no!
Brock: Hey, that was a great idea.
TR: AAAH!
They fall to the ground.
Misty: (exhaling) That was way too close.
Ash gives out a sigh of relief as Misty puts the mirror away.
Butch: No! They've ruined our plans again!
Cassidy: That brat's going to get it!
Jessie: Huh?
James: what happened?
Meowth: Where are we?
Brock: Same ole' Team Rocket.
Jessie: (turning around) Huh? Hey! It's the twerps!
Cassidy: We almost had them!
Jessie: Huh? Cassidy?! Oh, now I remember. You two hypnotized us!
James: (boasting) Yeah, but it's a good thing we're stronger than that.
Butch: Yeah right. The only reason you remember is because of that bratty girl.
He points to Misty. Cassidy and Butch take the lasers away from TR and aim them at Misty.
Cassidy: Let the pros show you how its done.
Butch: Let's see you try that little trick again.
Misty: (thinking) Oh great. Now what do I do?
She hears footsteps running behind her. Ash jumps in front of her.
Cassidy: Aww, now isn't this cute.
Misty: Ash?
Ash: (smiling) I have an idea.
Misty smiles. Butch and Cassidy then aim their lasers at Ash.
Ash: Now Pikachu! Max power!
Pikachu: Pika! (Right!)
Ash: Now, use your thunder!
Butch: Uh-oh.
Pikachu charges up and hits Butch and Cassidy with its best thunder attack. Their lasers explode sending them...
Butch/Cassidy: Blasting off again!
Ash: Good job Pikachu.
Pikachu: Pikachu. (Thanks.)
Ash: (turning around) You ok?
Misty: Yeah, thanks.
Brock runs up to them.
Brock: Hey, are you guys ok?
Ash/Misty: Yeah.
Brock: By the way Misty, that was a great plan to try and trick TR.
Misty: Thanks Brock. I figured they wouldn't pass up the opportunity to try and take out their revenge.
Ash: Hey, speaking of TR.
They look around and find no trace of them anywhere.
Misty: Hey, I wonder where they went?
Brock: Hmm...I don't know. The least they could have done was thank you for de-hypnotizing them.
Ash: (laughing) Hey, maybe they were embarrassed because you helped them. They probably didn't think you cold come up with anything that smart.
Misty: And what is that supposed to mean!?
Ash: Well, that was a pretty smart idea you had there.
Misty: (hitting him) So, what are you saying I'm stupid?
Ash: Ouch. No of course not.
Misty: So then what is it, huh?
Ash: Uh...I love ya Misty.
Misty: Oh no, that's not gonna work this time.
Brock: (smiling) Oh brother.
Misty wraps her arms around Ash's waist.
Misty: So what are ya gonna do now, huh?
He turns around and hugs her back.
Ash: hey, I was kidding. I'm just glad your ok. You had me worried when you stepped up in front of them.
Misty: Ya know, you can be really sweet when your in your caring-mode.
Ash: I'm always in my caring-mode.
Misty: (rolling her eyes) Yeah right.
Ash: (smiling sincerely) You know I care about you, right?
Misty: (softly) Yeah...
Ash kisses her on the forehead.
Brock: Aww, where's my camera?
Ash: Ok, ok. We get the picture, let's go.
Outside...
Jessie: I-I can't believe that bratty girl helped us.
James: Yeah, especially after all the trouble we've caused her and her friends before.
Meowth: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Get over it! They're our enemies, remember?
James: Oh yeah. Right.
Jessie: We have to stay focused...
James: And concentrate on the task at hand.
TR: We're gonna get you Pikachu!
Narrator: Well, it seems as if our heroes have once again triumphed over the evil known as Team Rocket. Even more adventures and excitement await them in Pallet.
