THE WAR AGAINST DEMON SLAG

"12,472 years ago...The skies were red and the clouds were a rust color; everything was barren and the city was screaming with agony and loss while the fires bloomed over the markets and buildings. People kept sheltered inside an underground passageway."

"A dog-like creature rampage through the fires; its black fur beaming in the fire’s blaze and its red eyes gleaming with bloodlust and the lust of killing the poor city. This (young) dog was known to all as Maelstrom, for he occasionally wanders from place to place destroying many lives until his bloodlust was satisfy and then he would rest up in the mountains."

"As he destroyed the city, underneath the crust of the earth, the people prayed for a prayer to summon a Pious, strong, gigantic beast that were guardians of their world. Many hours gone by as their prayer was answered for a majestic white feline came out of holy light that fell from the sky and overcame the landscape with purity. The feline Pious was a beautiful creature, with five bushy tails, a slender body, four thin but powerful legs, and ocean color eyes that glistened with a mysterious radiance."

"This creature was said to have the power of three gods combined and could render a demon into mist with one glaze. But Maelstrom was a powerful demon for he was given the power to destroy a whole galaxy with one attack that he kept secret within his powers."

"Many nights and days passed as the Pious, Glorified Blaze, and Maelstrom battled. Their attacks were so mighty that the city above the people was now in ruins. Blow after blow; strike after strike, the two beasts assaulted with all their might to bring the other down and lay the final blow."

"After a year of having conflict, Glorified Blaze won the battle yet her body was injured and weak from the fight. Posterior, she concealed Maelstrom into a ruin that no one can get through, not even the mightiest of Pious or demon combine could break open the seal. Her body impotent, she went into the cool waters of a lake and into the reflection of the moon. Looking up into the night, she started to transform. She stood up on two human legs that transfigured from her own, and from there on she began to change some more."

"A couple of minutes passed and the exquisite, feline creature named Glorified Blaze, became a human female with blood-red hair that glazed in the moonlight. She was afraid of this, to change into a human once every full moon. Her lovely feline form was now a two-legged creature that was hairless, except the hair on her head, and smooth in skin."

"She was completely bare for she never did wore human clothing before and never will. Soon, she waded farther in the water disappearing into the mist of the lake called Transcendental Lake."

***

A dark redhead, teenage girl lounged on the couch with her hands underneath her head. She had a lollipop in her mouth and her ocean-color eyes gazed into oblivion. Her friend who was also a girl—but had brown hair and red eyes—read a book to her about a city 26,000 light years away that prayed for miracles and giant beast would pop out of nowhere to save them. Furthermore, one of them turns into a female (Interesting).

Ashley (but people call her Taco) threw an eraser at Misty. The girl just shot a glare at her and pitched it back. Taco dodged with ease.

"Misty, you better listen to this, this is going to be our book report for Ms. Davis soon, and I don’t want to make a C or an F on this just because someone didn’t help me finish it."

"Feh! Get real, that piece of crap won’t make my grade drop to a C... Besides, what is that going to do to me?"

"Misty, be a good girl and help out."

The redhead threw the lollipop stick into a trash basket by her desk and got up, cracking her neck first then stretching her aching and tired arms. Then she walked over and looked over her friend’s shoulder to see the 10 questions.

    1. Who was the main character of the book? (Boring and easy)
    2. Were the main character enemies? (Well, duh)
    3. What time period did the story start in? (Didn’t say nothing about that)
    4. Who was the villain? (That darn dog, what else?)
    5. What is the culture of the book? (Another one of those questions)
    6. Do you think this book could have some more interesting things? (Yeah, it should)
    7. What do you think the story could be if the author was more creative than what he wrote? (Don’t know, don’t care)…

"I had it! Enough with this!"

"What do you mean by that, Misty?"

"What is with this nonsense? I hate doing book reports!" The girl fell on the couch with her arms underneath her head.

Taco glared at her and then back at her book report.

The balmy winds blew in rhythmically through the glass doors that led outside to the balcony, it caressed Misty’s hair and made the small strands wave along with it. She glanced at the pictures on the mantelpiece, the pictures of Taco’s family and with her and Taco. There were a few portraits with only Taco in it or another family member. Some of the photos dealt with other people that she didn’t know. Such a family that she wished she had in it besides three elder sisters, more like a mother or a father within her family.

Misty got up from being excused and walked outside towards the balcony. The city of Phlogiston was beautiful with towering skyscrapers and buildings; the town of Phlogiston was a calm place, where most of the area was farmland and numerous parks. Cars went on their ways on the streets and the bird Pokemon flew by her cawing and chirping. People in the city was nice and said ‘good day’ when someone they saw fitting walked by them. The world she was in was a place where most of the sun shed its light on throughout the hours.

***

A boy rambled through the woods being followed by a gold Pikachu that had a reddish tinge to its fur. The boy had black hair and rich chocolate-brown eyes. He wore a black sweatshirt over a black no-sleeve shirt and black baggy pants along with ebony working boots; a red bandanna was on his head. The dead leaves overflowing the forest’s undersurface crunched and cracked beneath his boots. The forest was big and sturdy; the trees were high and deciduous. Their bark seemed to fall off when he touched it and the vegetation within the forest was damp and sodden along with the fertile ground.

He stopped for his Pokemon who was just eating a pinecone from the ground. The boy shook his head with a smile then walked over to his buddy. "Hey! What’cha got there?"

"Pika-pik!"

"Ah, pinecone. Must taste very good."

The mouse nodded its noggin and kept on eating her snack.

Ash took his Pokemon up in his arms and set her on his shoulder, then tramped on in the forest watching out for rocks and other things that would make him trip or fall.

The duo came across a cave that had a lot of fallen debris around its entrance. Ash scampered inside, such a dark place that even Pikachu couldn’t see inside. They walked on through the caverns, walking on ice bridges, and tunnels. Pokemon that lived in the cave gazed and stared in interest to see awkward species walk through their domain. The darkness began to fade as they reached a cavern that had crystals, diamonds, gems, and quartz all over its walls, and the floor was made out of limestone.

They walked deeper in its foreshadowing and came across a light that was shining brilliantly than any other light they ever saw. Mist formed around the object lying within the custody of a crimson, silky cushion in a black, metallic box. In the cushion was a pendant that had black, glistening string and held two, white stars that laid on top of one another making it seem as if it was one star with ten points.

Pikachu could sense evil in the pendant and warned Ash not to touch the pendant for it was corrupted and contained an amoral aura. The danger was stinging Pikachu so much that it put its tail between her legs and huddled in fear, afraid to come face to face with something so critical. The Pokemon gasped when Ash just walked over to it like he was in a trance, she cried out his name some more when he advance closer to the jewel. She leaped at him but was wiped out by a barrier that surrounded him and the pendant.

She tried using a Thunderbolt but it was reflected off a barrier and hit back at Pikachu. The mouse wasn’t affected by its own attacks anymore and just sat there helpless to see and watch her trainer go towards the evil.

The pendant floated up to Ash and gleam black, summoning him to hold it. The boy grasped the pendant in his hands and closed his eyes once a soft, translucent silk formed out of the pendant and covered him in a shield. The light grew white and shined much brighter than before. Overflowing him with a holy blaze, the pendant forced a blinding flash in the room. The flash and sound of a jet flying by drowned Pikachu’s cry.

Once the light subsided, Pikachu opened up her brown eyes and eyed at her trainer, whispering his name. The room seemed to dim as if the flash took their brightness from them. Ash was engulfed by a white and gray fire, which was burning around his body. Pikachu crawled to him, her tail still between her legs. She could still sense the burning sensation of the pendant’s aura still in the room but just couldn’t see it.

"Pika-pi? Pika-pi?"

The boy didn’t move yet Pikachu could see that something was wrong, she could sense a much stronger evil coming from ‘him’. Pikachu shed a tear once Ash didn’t turn around when she called his name once more and sat on her haunches with drooped ears. Her eyes ready to turn into a leaking faucet. Suddenly she perked up after hearing the voice of her trainer and best friend spoke her name out. She responded and got on her two hind legs smiling.

Ash turned around his long bangs obscuring his eyes. Pikachu’s smile started to fade once she saw that something was wrong. As she looked up the boy’s lean but athletic figure, everything did seem okay, he wasn’t injured or nothing; instantly she noticed the problem, he was wearing the pendant. Pikachu rushed to him and leaped at him, wanting to get a hug from him. A hug that made him her Ash; an embrace that separated him from the others, but instead of an embrace she got backslap by him and was sent flying into a wall. She looked up at him and saw two gold eyes filled with hate instead of those friendly chocolate-brown eyes that showed not a single bit of hatred within them. A black monkey tail swayed behind him.

Pikachu got up from the ground and eyed him hurt. She cried out a "What are you doing, Ash? What forced you to do that? Was it the pendant?"

When the non-loving person didn’t respond she screamed out "Answer me!"

The figure gave out a smirk and a sigh. "Pathetic… little… rat. Can’t you see that you’re beloved Ash is now gone?"

"What do you mean?"

He snickered and walked over to her. "I guess you don’t?"

Pikachu cringed at the sound of ‘Ash’s’ voice and knew that something or someone possessed him. She hated to do this to Ash especially when it’s not him that’s doing the wrongdoing. Pikachu charged up with a Thunder Cannon but was too late when the possessor eyes flashed gold and she was surrounded by a black light and floated up into the air. She was then slammed into a wall. The pressure of something pushing her against the wall was all she could feel and whimpered when a hurt strokes her heart.

"Listen, you sunburn rat. Ash is gone; I overtook him, a demon-dog. Get in my way and face my fan—" He was cut short when a smell overtook his nostrils, a scent that no mere human could smell. It smelled like humidity mixed with the flowers of tropical islands and also spices.

Pikachu was dropped to the ground once the demon lost concentration and was busy sniffing the smell. She cringed when he grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and started sniffing at her. "You have the smell on you besides your scent."

The creature perked up some black Pikachu ears and walked out the caverns, carrying the rodent. "Let’s just see what this strange smell is."

***

Misty was riding her bike back to her house. The sky was starting to set and the moon could be seen above the orange tinge from the sun’s setting glow. She now came across the lake by her hometown and gazed at its perfect beauty. The moon’s light reflected off of it and made it look mysterious.

As she sped down a hill that led to her home, Pokemon scampered out of the way letting the girl ride down the hill.

Misty walked inside her room and petted her Pokemon Togetoe. The white Pokemon glanced at her with a smile and walked in the bathroom with her. She saw that the bathtub was filled with water and felt it with her hand to make sure it was hot enough. The girl then took off her pink, no- sleeve turtleneck and then her maroon pants.

Togetoe watched her from his spot on the floor and rested. Misty lowered herself in the tub once she washed herself from grime and dirt standing up out of the pool. The water relaxed her as she dozed off, thinking about what she would do tomorrow. It was a wonderful day today but she did miss her friends back in Kanto. She wondered if she would ever see them again, she wished that she could at least see someone.

The girl got in a blue, button shirt and some violet panties, and then she got in her bed, so fluffy and cozy enough that she fell to sleep right away. Her room was part of her world and Uncle Irrigate, Mick, Kobe, and Cousin Squall and Jocose were just downstairs. She missed out on dinner because of feeling a little not right when she walked inside the house. Her ‘wonderful’ 21-year-old boy-cousin, Jocose, greeted her with a hug and ruffled her hair in a headlock. While her other boy-cousin, Squall, who was 26 years old, lectured her about the things that were going to happen to her if she didn’t come home early. Her uncles just talked on and cooked after saying their hellos.

Misty loved the guys of her other family. The oldest was her 42-year-old Uncle Irrigate, the eldest of the three brothers, which were her uncles; and the sister, her mom. Her cousins weren’t that bad but just talked about guy things and sometimes let her play with them or they would go on an adventure through the woods, with Lakers, their Siberian Husky.

She knew that they would never harm her in any way or let her get harmed by anyone else.

The sun shined brightly over the horizon and the sunlight irritated Misty so much that she put a pillow over her head. The covers were partly off of her and her shirt showed her belly and a few buttons sort of came open to show her bra. Jocose came in with a greeting, Misty awoken to find Jocose just giving her a sly half-grin. She looked down her form to see her bra exposed and pulled up the covers throwing a pillow at him.

"You know that you should be glad that it was me. If it was Squall he would just go on and on about why young ladies like you shouldn’t be in bed half dressed."

"Get out, Jocose! Or I’ll call the cops!"

"OK, princess, but before I go I have to tell you that I’m going to get your ego."

"You better not, mister! Or else!"

"Too late!" And out the door he went.

Misty quickly got out of bed—falling once or twice—and put on a blue, spaghetti-strap tank top that ended at her stomach and rich, dark blue pants. She put on some pink (non-woolly) socks and blue, Sketcher brand shoes. After putting on a green belt, she raced out the door and downstairs eating her fill of breakfast.

The morning was just as yesterday, in the mid-70 along with clear skies. Misty stretched her cramped up arms and strolled down to the park, which was not far from where she lived. The forest was filled with life; all she could hear were the birds chirping and all she could see were playful youngsters frolicking on the grass. The flower garden was more beautiful in spring where Butterfrees and Beedrills pollinated the flowers and the Beedrills will make delicious honey.

Misty saw some Cyndaquil romping around and play-fighting with one another, she watched the battle and when they were finished she would crawl on her knees and play with them. The Pokemon here knew humans so well that they knew that most of the people here were kind and would feed them their favorite foods, especially the children. The girl made friends with the Cyndaquil, two Ratattas, a Pineco, and three Hoothoots. They explored through the gigantic park following the leader and playing hide-and-go-seek, plus they all swam in the lake.

Night fell and all the Pokemon left to find their parents and Misty waved goodbye to all of them. She lay down on the grass and looked up at the sky, the gibbous moon shined so brightly in the deep blue and stars luster brilliantly along with it, they both seemed to sing the night away. A soft breeze blew her hair and she breathed deeply and went fast asleep.

A figure was on a tree before the sleeping maiden holding a Pikachu within its grasp. The boy examined the girl’s form, shoulder-length hair that looked as if it was soaked in blood. Rich peach-color skin, bushy eyelashes, and a smooth and curvy body that was slender and looked frail. A few muscles were in some parts of her arms but just a few mostly in her biceps. This girl wasn’t voluptuous as some women were and wasn’t flat-chest neither, sort of average you might put it.

Sakura fell from the tree he was on and fell on the girl, one fell on her cheek and she opened her eyes and got up off the ground. She stretched her arms again and scratched her head. Just as she was about to straighten her tank top, the boy lost his balance and fell off the branch he was on and to the ground. Scaring Misty behind a bush.

***

Ash got up from the ground rubbing his head and Pikachu just peered down on him from the branch she sat on. Misty walked up to the boy kneeled down to see if he was all right. He looked up into the eyes of the girl and she sort of cramped up after seeing a guy with golden eyes that were like two suns.

The boy quickly leaped up on his two feet and glared at her. He had three slash marks on his right cheek. His black hair was black silk when it was highlighted under the moon.

"You OK, you fell from the tree, I may add," Misty stated getting up off her knees.

‘Don’t tell me this woman here is the source of that smell.’

"Hello? Are you listening? I said you fell from the tree."

"Just a bruise, nothing else."

Misty spotted some fangs poking out when he talked and plus—close up—she saw two canines coming out of the side of his mouth. Ash just looked at her, getting annoyed by that look she was giving him, like she wanted to know what’s that on him or something. He growled a bit to get her attention and she snapped out of her trance and looked at him. She peeked a glance at the tail on him.

"I don’t like you."

"Good, you don’t have to like me. I’m not into boys, ya know? And never will be."

After she said that the two just stared at each other as if ready to have an all out battle. When instantly, Pikachu vaulted from her perch and landed on Misty’s shoulder.

"Misty! This is not who you think it is, he may look like Ash but he’s not. This is the creature Ash released and is now being possessed by it."

Misty heard the ‘Pika-pi’ Pikachu spoke out and knew right away that ‘Pika-pi’ meant for ‘Ash’. "Ash?"

The boy jerked at the sound of that name, it was this guy’s name even though it wasn’t ‘his’ name; he was the one that killed so many, back then. Destroying village after village until his bloodlust settled and he could rest; usually it took 74 villages to annihilate once he stops rampaging. That’s when he came upon a Pious and they fought in battle, Glorified Blaze was her name, and she was the guardian of that last city he put to ruins.

‘His’ name was Maelstrom, ruler of the central regions of Verve; a small, but magical place where not many people believed in. Saying that it was a flying island in the sky above the clouds. They also mentioned that the gigantic ‘flying island’ had beast that would protect them from any danger especially demons and monsters. The island was like a paradise, there were a lot of landscapes and diverse areas that went on for miles and miles. Each area contained its own species or culture too. He lived in a forest that was the life force of the island.

Fountains poured off the island and into the ocean underneath it. This island was home to numerous Pokemon and other creatures.

Maelstrom lived on this island before Man was even born, he saw the Pokemon evolve and the island becoming more exotic than before. He watched the fish get eaten and the forest in which he lived in becoming wider. He’s been around for almost 700,000 years; surviving the harsh winters and life-sucking summers. He was the strongest of his kind.

Maelstrom now understood what this young woman was, that scent clouding her form smelled just like the Pious he battled 4,000 years ago. This girl was the descendent of that same Pious that killed him and sealed him away in that cave. Maelstrom’s target was now Misty Waterflower.

"Is something wrong, why are you looking at me like that?"

Maelstrom gave out a low growl and started advancing toward her. She stood her ground but when he got too close to her she knew that she had to step back.

Bloodlust overtook Maelstrom’s mind, his fangs were bared and the hair on his head began to bristle. Misty saw that his pupils became thinner and his eyes slightly began to glow. Pikachu was still on Misty’s shoulder and leaped off her, landing onto the ground, and facing the demon before them. She growled back exposing her sharp (little) fangs.

Maelstrom just snickered and that made Pikachu clash him with a Thunderbolt; a barrier seemed to block Pikachu’s attack and the mouse gave up on the attack and lunged at him. Misty gasped when Maelstrom disappeared and reappeared right in front of her.

Pikachu’s ears perked up after hearing footsteps running away and looked back to see Misty running deeper into the park and Maelstrom just staring at the girl as she ran off. Then he disappeared once more. Pikachu gasped and ran after Misty.

***

Misty dodged trees and ran through a river. Exhausted and weak from running she stopped before a cliff and supported herself with a rock. She knew that the demon would find her and kill her on the spot. Was this the end for her? Was she really going to die? And after just meeting and getting along with her mom’s brothers and nephews?

"Enjoying the view?" a familiar voice spoke out.

She gasped and looked back to find Maelstrom leaning against a tree casually, waiting for her to say something.

"Who are you? You’re not Ash… are you?"

"If I was Ash then would I want to kill you? You know this Ash better than I do. You should’ve known right away."

Maelstrom got up and walked over to her. She felt fear spiked her adrenaline and her body went numb after she traced out the cliff’s edge with the tip of her foot. He got closer to her and stopped when he was just inches away from her, she could feel a cold aura surrounding his form.

"Now it’s time to say goodbye."

He grabbed her by the neck with one hand and raised her over the cliff’s edge. Misty looked down to find a forest beneath her but also it appeared to be just 2 miles down. The demon then let go of her neck but she instantly grabbed onto his pendant. He was pretty strong for a demon as he was on all fours with a girl holding the end of his pendant for dear life (what strong string).

Misty whimpered and looked up at him, that almost familiar face along with big, black eyebrows. The girl could feel the blood running down her arm since the two stars were very sharp and cut through her skin like a knife. She closed her eyes very hard while the demon just stared at her boringly. A tear fell from Misty’s eyes.

"Why so afraid, little girl? You can always end your life by jumping. It’ll all be over." He then snickered.

"You and your species, how much can you humans bear? I heard all about your kind, I’ve seen them work and seen them die within their sweat and pain. You shouldn’t have become the descendent of that Pious I fought along time ago. Because then you wouldn’t have to suffer so much… as much as she put on me. Wretched… insignificant… wench."

At that last word, Misty opened her eyes enrage, and all of a sudden she used all of her power to lung at him and pin him to the ground. The girl panted grasping his shirt collar with sweat falling on her head. He sneered at her and that shocked her. Contiguously he pushed her off of him and while she was still feeling the aftermath, he got on her holding down her wrists. She couldn’t force him off of her and grunted in trying.

"You know what? You got a lot of spunk in your blood; I sort of like that in most women. But I never loved them, I like their personality for battles."

"So you’re a ladies’ man, aren’t ya?"

"Well, sort of—huh?"

The pendant on him started glowing white and soon it was beaming with brilliance. Maelstrom was soon forced off of her and slammed into a tree. Misty just looked at him with confusion. The boy slid off the tree and onto the grass, he shook his head and looked up to see Misty.

"What the heck just happened?"

He looked down at the pendant again and found it transformed into a six-pointed star with a black rosary bead in the middle along with gold embroidery around its black points but an embroidery also outlined the rosary bead, which had a white bead within it.

Misty tried to help him up but he grudged her off. "Hey! I was just helping you, OK?"

"I don’t need your help, wench!"

"Will you quit with the ‘wench’! I got a name you know; it’s Misty, Miss-sty. Got that?"

"I consider you women to be all the same."

Misty punched him. "Oh yeah! Well I’m consider different!"

He rubbed the mark on his cheek and walked away.

"Where’d you think you’re going?" she asked sarcastically.

"Away from you!"

"Fine."

"Even if I wanted to."

She looked at him with crossed arms and one eye opened. What was he talking about ‘Even if he wanted to?’ Was there like something behind that saying? "What do you mean by that?" Her voice became calmer than before.

There was a silence; a dead silence that nobody spoke out even Pikachu (who was just standing 2 feet from Misty) didn’t move an ear. He then looked at her from the side of his eye. She stared at him. "You wanna know why?"

"Uh-huh, are you saying like you want to stay with me?"

That popped a vein and soon he stomped over to her, growling at her. "Do I wanna? Since your stupid blood covered my necklace, I guess we’re blood-bonded!"

Misty was aghast after hearing that and put her hand to her mouth. Blood-bonded? Does he mean the type that when a person puts its blood within another then they could feel each other’s pain and presence? Misty felt ill; she couldn’t be bonded with a demon, then he’ll never leave her alone, and since it was her blood, he would never leave her. She heard that if it was the one that blood-bonded them together… and if she died then he’d die too. She guessed that he already knew since he didn’t like it.

"Who in the seven hells gave you the idea of blood-bonding me?" he yelled at the top of his lungs. He then stomped closer to her.

"I didn’t know, OK? You don’t have to yell at me!"

"I don’t want to hear it! You and your hussy ways; no wonder I hate you humans!"

"Why hate me, when you don’t even know me?"

"I know that you’re just like that Pious I battled."

"I’m not a Pious! I don’t even know what a Pious is!"

That got his attention for he perked his ears up and switched his tail like a feline’s. "You joking?"

"Of course not."

He sighed and walked away, sitting on a boulder with his tail wrapped around him. Misty was afraid to get near him and rubbed her arm, then she walked over to him slowly. Maelstrom sensed her presence advancing closer to him. He could sense placidity in her interior and knew that she wanted to get near him so he could be pitied. Misty sat on the boulder next to him and Pikachu leaped on his lap.

The boy looked at the Pikachu smiling on his lap. She knew that somewhere in that heart of his he held a little bit of her Ash, but for now they had to wait so they could get along with one another before advancing on. Maelstrom glared at Misty who was sitting with him resting her chin on her knee and wrapping her arm around her leg. He sighed and looked at her once more. "What’s your name again?"

"Hmm? Oh! It’s Misty. How about you?"

"My name’s Phantasmagoric."

"Phantasmorgreek?" Misty tried to say it. "Don’t you have a nickname?" She smiled.

Snicker. " It’s Slag."

"Slag? Don’t you think that’s a very mean name?"

"Oh! I don’t mind, since I gotten use to it for awhile. It’s better than calling me Phantasmagoric."

"You can say that again."

"Who’s she?" Slag looked down at the sleeping mouse.

"She? That’s Pikachu."

"Pikachu?"

The mouse stirred in her sleep and snuggled even closer to Slag. His scent was just like Ash’s but held an aroma that smelled like Nature. She licked his hand still asleep and laid her head on it. ‘I guess… she likes me.’ He looked up to find Misty fast asleep also. That scent message became stronger from her, he knew right away that she was not afraid of him anymore. ‘That same odor. She’s staying with me.’

***

Slag landed on Misty’s balcony, he had Misty on his back and Pikachu on his shoulder. The sleeping forms snoozed away humbly. He walked inside of the house and into her room. The boy set Pikachu in his arms then placed the mouse on the bed, he then did the same thing to Misty but put her under the blankets.

The dog-boy settle Pikachu in with Misty; he towered over them making sure they will be all right while he was gone. Somehow he felt relieved when Misty smiled and shook his head once he got too soft. What was he doing? He was a demon, for crying out loud! Demon males and human females could never be together, specifically half-breed pups and human teenagers. They could never have an intercourse. But like what they said, ‘Dogs are a Man’s best friend.’ But can a dog be a girl’s best friend? It could be possible.

His father was a demon but his mother… he didn’t want to get into the past right now, he’ll leave that in the back and dusty part of his mind. Misty breathed daintily in her slumber.

Slag could feel the blood-bond rise within him, that fiery substance burning his soul, telling him to not leave her side because of danger. The blood-bond told him to stay by her side and it transform into a much deadly form of blood-blond called the Hemoglobin; a form of blood-bond in his kind that could surrender a demon to its blood-bond master or human partner.

Misty did look desirable, along with her pink, palatable lips; smooth yet lovely face and those eyes when she looked at him, sort of warmed him inside. But still, she was a human—a sexy human—No! She was not like that, he couldn’t think like that! He could still fill that burning sensation burning in his soul, the pain squeezing his heart made him want to fall to his knees.

His body ached and sweat fell off his forehead, Slag knew that the Hemoglobin would take over his body soon enough. He sunk to the floor grinning. The pendant around his neck (also his life force) acted like a firefly, its light going on and off. Slag could feel his blood burn with the sensation that overflowed him and he just had to crawl to a corner of the room and huddle in a ball. His life force was leaving him. He was getting weaker by the moment and felt like dying. This was just the beginning of Hemoglobin, the last stage could mean of destroying himself if it was bad enough.

The door opens and Jocose came in. He saw that Misty was in the bed and was confused, he never knew she came in… and with a Pikachu. He heard a growl and looked over at a corner to find a boy about his age and height glaring at him with bared fangs. His black hair bristled and he slowly got on one knee, his fangs ready to protect what was rightfully his and that was the girl and Pikachu in the bed.

Jocose heard the door slam behind him by a strong force. He giggled as the demon got up still growling at him.
