I'm not really sure where I'm going with this story so I'm going to rate it 
13+ just to be safe. This is my first fic ever. Hope you enjoy..............




Prologue:                             Bugged Line

Ages: Ash 18, Misty 20, Brock 23.



The static on the video phone screen fizzled into a picture. On the screen 
stood a teenage boy with jet black hair and dark eyes. He wore a dark blue 
jacket over a black top and below
that, also black pants. On his head sat a red and white hat with a peculiar 
symbol on it.
The teenager’s breath was heavy as though he had just run a fair way.

Professor Oak sat in front of the video phone studying the boy. Their was 
something familiar
about him.

"This line is bugged so I have to be quick," said the teenage boy, "I hope 
you recognize who
I am, professor, I went through a lot to get this connection to you."

Professor Oak gasped, "Ash?"

"As you already know team rocket had coursed mayhem in 2005 by successfully 
taking over most of the Kento region. Giovanni was getting old and team 
rocket thought fit to elect a new leader who proved to be much more skilled 
at the job. During this time a secret organization called the 'Cold Killers' 
was formed. Over the years they growed in power and recruited more and more 
members. They first showed themselves in 2007 and defeated team rocket. Now 
the world lies in ruins with most people dead or in hiding. Only the 
strongest Pokemon trainers roam the cities which are now completely 
destroyed.

Ash glanced to one side of the screen as though hearing something beyond 
Professor Oaks
vision.

"I did some dangerous 'research' and discovered by over hearing some 
careless cold killer
members that an orb exists in their possession. The orb is called Gia which 
is the name for
the god of nature. If we got our hands on it and unleashed its power we 
could renew the
world. Trees and animals would return and grow. Life would continue on as it 
once did."

Professor if we managed to get hol.............." his voice was suddenly cut 
off and the screen returned to static.
