A Love That Lasts By: PikaPower Ages: Ash: 12 Misty: 13 I dedicate this story to my girlfriend Jen Poborski for the inspiration and care that she gave me for this story. I will love her eternally. Ash and Misty have never met before. They are in the same pokegrade but they have been in different schools until now. It was 6:15am when Ash Ketchum awoke on his first day at the Pokemon Academy. He rushed downstairs and hurried to eat his breakfast. “Whoa Ash, I know you’re excited but don’t give yourself a stomachache.” Ash’s mom said which only got Ash to respond “I’m not mom I just want to catch my bus.” “Ash your bus doesn’t come until 7:23am and you leave at 7:00am. Right now it’s only 6:20am.” Ms. Ketchum told Ash. Ash still complained “Mom I also want some time to play before I leave.” Ash said as he was getting dressed. “Oh well I guess I can’t stop you.” Ms. Ketchum said. 6:40am came around and Ash was finally ready for school. He would have been done sooner if his mom hadn’t made him put on deodorant and waste his time brushing his mess that she calls hair. When 6:50 came around Ms. Ketchum wanted Ash to go outside so she could get some pictures. After about five minutes of pictures Ash and his mother went to the shelter just down the road where the bus normally picked up kids for school. At the bus stop Ash met up with his friends Mark and Tanisha. Ash hung out with Mark more but he was still friends with Tanisha. “Hey Mark are you excited about our first day of school?” asked Ash which got the response “No, why would I be excited about going to that hell hole they call school?” asked Mark back. Tanisha, however, was as excited as Ash about their first day at the Pokemon Academy. Well 7:23am came and went. When 8:00am came and there was still no sign of a bus headed for the Pokemon Academy. Sure they had seen a bus drive by and flash its lights without stopping but other wise that was it. Ash’s mother had gone to find out what happened. Ash, Mark, and Tanisha were late for school and they hadn’t even been there one day. When Ms. Ketchum returned she had good news. “Ash, Ash, they’re sending another bus to pick you guys up.” Ash was relieved. There were times he said that he’d start walking because of how close the Academy was. I was only a mile and a half. He could have walked it. Just as he finished with these thoughts a bus pulled into the lot. “I’m here for the students who were missed for their first day at the Pokemon Academy.” asked the bus driver. “That’s us.” Ash told the driver who told them to hop on. After about seven minutes of driving they arrived at the academy. They had to face a security guard when they reached the main door. “Hey, are you 8th graders?” asked the guard. “No we’re 7th graders. It’s our first day here at the academy and our bus drove past us.” Ash explained to the security guard. “Well then we’ll get one of our officers to guide you to the auditorium.” And they did just that. When they arrived at the auditorium they were patient to listen to the last of the students who were being told their homerooms. Ash, Mark, and Tanisha all listened closely for their names. When they didn’t hear their names called, they realized that he had already called their names. When the three approached the announcer it was Ash who pulled up the courage to ask him “Sir, what homerooms are we in. Our bus never picked us up and we missed our names.” “Alright kid, being you asked first I’ll tell you first. What is your name?” “Ash Ketchum sir.” The announcer looked through all the homerooms until he found it. “Ah Ash Ketchum you’re in room 113 for homeroom and 1st period. Our Officer Don will guide you to your class.” “Thank you sir.” said Ash. When he saw Don his first impression was, like the strictest teacher you’ve got, that he was someone that you didn’t want to mess with. When they arrived at room 113 Don guided Ash in, took him to the teacher, and explained the situation. “Ah yes, Mr. Ketchum. We’re glad you decided to join us today.” said the teacher. “To cover what you missed you will call me Mr. Snape. Also I will have you sit right in front of me until I know I can trust you.” Snape said and Ash obeyed. As he sat down he heard a girl on the other side of the room mutter “Guess he wanted to make an entrance to impress Mr. Snape. Well, we can see that didn’t work.” He was mad at the girl and Snape but he didn’t show it. The first week came to its end. We join our hero on the Friday of the first week of school. Ash has had a crush on that girl Misty since the second day. But there was no way in hell that she could ever like him back. Why? Well, because on the third day in levels class she had noticed him again. Then she said “Hey, you’re the annoying kids in almost all of my classes who follows me around like he has no idea where he is going.” That got some laughter from her friends. He asked his best friend Brock for some advice. When Brock heard everything he said “Well Ash, I still think she likes you. She didn’t HAVE to sit next to you on the second day of levels class but she did anyway.” So after lunch, he endured attacks class and was on his way to levels class with Misty. He was able to make her his friend on the fourth day. He had decided to come out with it. “Hey Misty, do you notice how I don’t talk much around you.” Misty said she had noticed that and walked on as if she had no idea what Ash was trying to tell her. When they walked in they took their seats on the opposite sides of the room. When she reached her seat she figured it out. She also let the entire class know too. At that moment she yelled “Oh God no never!” Ash was crushed. He couldn’t look her in the eye again. After class he quickly gathered his stuff and hurried out of the classroom. “Ash wait up!” yelled Misty from behind Ash. Ash ignored her but she kept talking when she caught up with him. “Ash I know what I said back there I meant but I can see that you’re hurt so I thought that maybe we could give it a try.” Ash was grateful and told Misty that would be great. When they arrived at types class, they were glad to remember that they sat next to each other. Ash was almost asleep when half way through class he felt something hit his head. It felt sharp too. He woke up, looked at the floor, and saw a note. It wasn’t possible it was for him. But it had his name on it. He picked it up while the teacher’s back was to the class, he opened it carefully, and it read Dear Ash, Meet me here tonight I’ve got a surprise for you Love Misty It was short but Ash sent back the ok. The day went on and our hero had somehow survived the day. It was the most boring day of them all. That night he snuck out of his house and headed for the academy. When he arrived there the door was already opened. He figured that Misty was already there. He searched the school and finally found her in the types classroom. “Well Ash I hope that you’re ready for a game.” Misty said which got Ash confused. “Couldn’t you’ve just stopped by my place if you wanted to play a game?” asked Ash. “Yes, but this game we need to be alone to play.” Misty explained. Ash didn’t argue and let Misty explain how the game was played. Each player rolled one dice for three turns. You had to win 2 of 3 rounds to win. The player who lost had to act as a genie and give the winner three wishes. Misty and Ash both rolled their dice Ash rolled a 6 and Misty rolled a 2. “Ha, I win round one.” Ash said but Misty sounded calm. “You won by luck, but can luck carry you through one more round?” Misty asked and they rolled again. This time Ash got a 1 and Misty got a 4. “Ha, Ash now it’s tied the winner of this last round wins the game.” They both rolled for the last time. Ash got a 2 and Misty got a 6. Misty had won. “Ha, I win Ash now I get three wishes. I will be fair though and being you won one round I will give you one wish. Make your wish now.” Ash thought and thought. What could he wish for that Misty could do? Then it hit him. “I wish that you would strip for me down to nothing.” Misty didn’t question and got herself naked for Ash. “*whistles*” “What is wrong with you Ash. I’m just naked that’s all.” “Sorry Misty but I like what I see.” “Fine but remember I still have three wishes on you Ash. And my first wish is that you strip for ME.” Ash didn’t like the idea but he had to do it because he had lost. Misty had the same reaction as Ash. “Are you going to make you’re second wish?” “Actually Ash I am. My second wish is that you publicly announce us being boyfriend and girlfriend to the entire neighborhood tomorrow.” “Fine it will be done tomorrow after school. Your last wish Misty.” Misty had to think on this one. She hadn’t planned on winning the game so she had only planned one wish. She got the 1st from Ash and the 2nd one she had planned. Then it hit her, the one thing that she secretly wanted but thought she couldn’t get until next year. “Alright Ash my last wish is to get a lip-lock/make-out right here, right now. Ash really didn’t want to do this but he had to. Misty wished it, he had to grant it. So before misty knew what had happened Ash had grabbed her in a light kiss. Or at least that’s how it started. Then it got a little deeper. In the end Ash and Misty were completely making out. Ash was exploring her body with his hands as well as her mouth with his tongue. Misty loved it and followed exactly what Ash did. It was about 3 hours later that Ash woke up still in Misty’s arms. They had one hour and a half until school started. They had to get home soon or they’d be in trouble. They hurried out locking the door behind them. Misty gave Ash a quick kiss on the lips before running off. In her hurry she dropped a piece of paper. Ash picked it up and read it. It read Ash, My parents have us move every week so I never stay in the same school long. I wanted you to know that I loved last night. I will never forget it or you. I will love you eternally Ash. Love Misty Ash fell to the ground crying. He knew he couldn’t do anything but he knew he’d never forget last night either. He knew he loved Misty and wished that she didn’t need to go, but that was how it was meant to be. He would still love Misty eternally. ________________________________________________ Well this is the end of my story and I hope you learned a lesson from Ash and Misty in this fan fiction. If you didn’t I’ll tell you the lesson. The lesson was if you love someone, just tell them. You may end up like Ash and Misty or me and my girlfriend.
