Part 4
Brock’s Big Shock

Hey everyone sorry I haven’t been able to update my story lately but I’ve been 
really busy.  Well on a happier note here we go with part four and what Brock 
found at the Ketchum Residence.

	Brock knocked at the door of the Ketchum Residence and when the door 
opened he almost had a heart attack.  For what Brock saw when he opened thee 
door was not Delia Ketchum as expected but Professor Oak.  “Hey Professor Oak 
what are you doing here.  Shouldn’t you be up at the lab working with your 
Pokemon research?” asked Brock.  “Ok Brock, I guess you haven’t heard the news.  
Well don’t just stand out there come in, come in.”  Delia had appeared at the 
door.  Brock entered and saw what would have been a younger Ash Ketchum room.  
There were pictures of Pokemon everywhere.  “Well Brock if you’re like Delia 
says than you don’t show up without Ash and Misty unless there is an 
emergency……OH MY GOD BROCK WHAT’S THE MATTER!”  Brocks face had gone from 
curious to sullen.  “Well Ms. Ketchum we were wandering in Viridian Forest and 
Misty had to be an ass as usual and accuse Ash of getting us lost when I had the 
map.  Anyway, I said we were in the heart of Viridian Forest and Misty totally 
freaked out at Ash.  Ash just got upset and ran for it.  Misty wanted to follow 
him and I should have let her too.  For the next second later we hear a scream, 
see three bolts of lightning come out of the clearing, another scream, and then 
Pikachu came flying out of that area and told us that a mysterious Pokemon had 
taken Ash away to the moon.  Misty wanted to get to the Hoenn Region so we could 
get to the moon and save Ash.  I, on the other hand, thought it would be better 
to let you know what happened first.  So Misty went one way and I went the 
other.  I don’t know where Misty is right now but I’m here and that’s my story.”  
Brock finally finished and Delia was in tears.  Professor Oak had to calm her 
down and Brock was starting to get a general idea of what had happened.
	“Brock, I can’t thank you enough for telling me about my Ashy boy.  Oh yes 
the news I wanted to tell you about.  Well about two weeks ago Professor Oak 
came here and said he had a surprise for me up at his lab.  He put a blindfold 
on me and guided me up to the lab.  When we arrived Professor Oak took the 
blindfold off and immediately I saw all of Ash’s Pokemon.  The first to come up 
was Pidgeot.  All he did was peck me on the shoulder.  That was when I noticed 
that Professor Oak had vanished.  Snorlax came up to me and I saw a piece of 
paper taped to his stomach.
	Just as Mrs. Ketchum was about to finish her story, Deoxys burst in.  
“Now, life on Earth as you know it will fall to the hands of DEOXYS!” Deoxys 
started doing that evil laugh.  “YOU! You’re the one who took Ash didn’t you?” 
Brock asked.  “Ha, you learn fast for a mortal.  But it is not you I desire, it 
is the girl.  WHERE IS SHE!” asked Deoxys.  “We don’t know.  Misty and I parted 
in Viridian Forest, where you found Ash.” Brock explained.  “Well then, I guess 
I have no choice but to take you to my lair and follow the girl.  And with that 
Deoxys, Professor Oak, Mrs. Ketchum, and Brock were on their way to the moon.
