************************************************************* We were blasting off again. Another master plan, another humiliation defeat by those twerps and that Pikachu. This time was different though was flying one direction and Jessie and Meowth in two others. We always managed to stay together but this time we got separated. I curled up knowing landing was soon. It was something that became second nature to us after I got a concussion. Vainly hoping for soft dirt I closed my eyes and waited for landing. Unfortionly I ended up landing on a bunch of tree branches I gingerly sat up and looked around. Jessie went off to the mountains and Meowth towards town. 'Jessie must be freezing; who knows what happened to the balloon. I'll have to go to town to get supplies and maybe manage to steal a bird pokemon. ************************************************************* Jessie couldn't even remember how their plan failed to begin with much less how she ended up half buried in the snow with her Arbok coiled around her.’ where is James and Meowth'. Arbok was shivering and starting to look a little blue. ‘How did you get out’ she thought looking at the large snake. Then it hit her Arbok was trying to keep her warm “Thanks” she said holding out the pokeball and returning it. ‘Where are they' the thought surveying the landscape. Then it dawn on her she was knocked out first. 'Could James and Meowth finally beaten the twerp...nah, they’d be lucky to get away unhurt much less with Pikachu. Then where on Earth are they' she looked around but only saw snow. It was freezing and the wind was only making it worse. She begins to search for shelter and ultimately settled for a small cave that was cramped for even for one person but at least it was out of the wind. She curled up and wrapped her long red hair around her trying to get whatever warmth she could. The quietness of the small cave bothered her she could hear the whishing of the wind outside and had no one to complain to about how cold she was. 'I hope James is alright' she thought. 'He better not have gotten hurt than who's gonna rescue me...but what if he is...' she shook the thought off saying he could take care of himself but the thought of him stranded and bleeding and simluer circumstances wouldn't go away. The wind had calmed and the sun was starting the shine a bit. She had to start sometime, so attemping to fix her hair which was frizzy and a bit tangled. "No ones around to care anyway" she said out loud just to brake the silence. Moving was difficult because she was stiff from being crammed in the cave half the night. The snow was up to her knees making everything in between numb. "Where ever they are I hope its warmer. I wonder if James is even worried about me; it wasn't like I was ever nice to..." her thoughts were cut off as she tumbled down the side of the mountain landing the flat below. *********************************************************** I made it to the town below the moutain. I managed to effortlessly steal a few sweat shirts and pairs of jeans. I also picked up a few apples for food also five finger discount; I was, as always penniless. Stopping by the Pokémon-center for the night and looking for Meowth I thought it might be helpful to call the boss to see if he would send me a balloon to help one of his agents. "YOU THREE MESSED UP AGAIN! Well, I'm not bailing you guys out this time. You’re on your own." I jumped a little when he slammed the phone down. 'So I have to find Jess on my own Meowth wasn't at the Pokémon-center. Walking towards the mountain I heard a familiar voice. "Hey James! Waits for Meowth!" I turned around and waited for the cat to catch up. "Yous thought you could leave with out me didn’t you?" the cat said looking around. "Where's Jess?" I winced a little knowing I would have to tell him sometime. "What are yous deafs? Where's Jessie" "I think she's lost in those mountains" I pointed out. I hated the defeated tone in my voice. "The boss isn't gonna help us out this time. I hope she's not hurt. Do you think she's hurt?" "I hope not. Yous sounds mighty worried about her... Is there something I should knows?" Meowth said looking up at him with a suspecting grin. " I don't have time for this and neither does Jessie" said a little angrier then I meant to but just continued toward the mountain it was starting to get colder as they started up the mountain I put Meowth in my backpack to shut him up and as a way not to loose him. I watched the landscape change from red and yellow trees to bare ones covered in snow. It was starting to get dark now and the cold was hardly bearable to begin with; we needed to find a place to stay. It wasn’t much longer till Meowth pointed out a cabin. I walked up to the log house and knocked hopping the residents would take pity on us. A Charmelon answered the door then looked behind him to his trainer, and older rugged looking man. The man walked up to him “Can I help you son?” he asked but before I could answer an Arbok coiled itself around me and started licking my ear. I wonder if it was Jessie’s.
