Lizzie and I walked through the windy weather. We had put Pikachu and Marill in our jackets. Pikachu kept his head out, and Marill did also. "We need to find a place to stay!" Lizzie yelled over the wind.
     "What?! I can't hear you!"
"I said, we need to find a place to -- UGH!" Lizzie was interrupted when a newspaper hit her in the face. She pulled it off. We looked ahead.
"Hey, let's stay in that hotel!" I yelled. Lizzie nodded. Pikachu yawned. It started to snow. We finally got into the hotel.
"It is soooo cold out there," Lizzie said to the owner. "How much is it for two?"
"Ten dollars each," the owner said. He happily took our money. "Room 316," he said, handing us a pass. We went up two flights of stairs and as we opened the door -- STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN 3:16 JUMPED OUT AT US, STUNNED US AND BASHED OUR HEADS INTO THE DOOR, HE PINNED US BOTH AND RETAINED HIS BELT! Just kidding. You guys are so gullible.
We opened the door. There was a bedroom, a fridge, a TV, and a couch. There was a little table and two stools in the corner.
"We haven't eaten in two days," Lizzie muttered. She sat down on the couch and picked up the phone. "Hello? Room service. Yes, we would like one large pepperoni pizza, four tacos & a large Coke. How much is that? What? It's free? Thanks."
     "Free food?" I asked. "Awesome."
She turned on the TV and turned on wrestling. I went over to her backpack and looked at the newspaper that had hit her in the face. "Hey Woody," Lizzie said. Psycho Sammie is fighting Ragin' Rodney in a cage match for the XWA World Heavyweight championship belt." (XWA meaning Xtreme Wrestling Association).
"Speaking of fighting, look at this article in the newspaper."
Lizzie came over to me and read the article. Tournament in Verdes City for a Lapras. The winner of this tournament will receive 100,000 dollars and a Lapras. The runner-up will receive a Water Stone and a Lure Ball. Everyone will receive two Gold Berries for participating. Tournaments start March 3.
     "That's tomorrow," I said. "I'm entering."
Lizzie nodded. "So am I. A Lapras would be really good to my collection of Pokemon. But if it comes down to you and me, I'll kick your @$$."
As she said that, Psycho Sammie kicked Ragin' Rodney in the face and retained the World title on the TV.

We went to the arena, even through the thick snow. "Okay, is everyone signed up?" Mr. Larry, the owner of the arena asked.
"There are 16 of you, so in order to get to the finals you'll have to win two matches. If someone is unable to compete in the tournament, someone who did not win in the first match will be brought back for the wild card drawing." Lizzie and I looked at each other.
"Okay, the first match will be Sam Lincum versus John Green. The second one is Raven vs. Shannon Unbro. The third is Lizzie vs. Michael Stanton. Fourth is Douglas Rock vs. Adam Turin. The fifth is Rico Collins vs. Rosheeq Collins. Sixth is Maria Ultob vs. Deshawn. Seventh is Milly Roades vs. Steve McDonald. The last match will be Edward-- er, Woody Redstreak vs. Angela Carter. Your matches will start in thirty minutes. Get ready."
"Okay," Lizzie muttered. "For the tournament we can use two Pokemon a match. The first person to win the best 2 out of 3 knockouts will be the winner. Then they advance into the semifinals tonight and tomorrow afternoon there will be two finalists, but two people will be brought back for the wildcard drawing. After that, then  the two finalists will face off for the Lapras."
"Sounds fair," I said. "You're fighting Mike. Don't forget, Mike used to be my best friend when we were in the orphanage, but he got adopted when we were nine. He said he always wanted to get a Bulbasaur. He might have one, so use--"
"Marill and Sudowoodo are weak against grass-types," Lizzie interrupted. "Metapod, a bug Pokemon is strong against grass types but it can only learn Harden and Tackle."
"Okay, just do what you want." I looked on the Internet under PokemonTrainers.com. It had a full review on every licensed trainer. I looked under Angela's--my opponent in the tournament--name. "Okay, Angela has an Elekid, a Swinub, and a Heracross. Your opponent, Mike has a Pinsir and a Bulbasaur, as we thought."
My opponent, Angela walked out through the trees. I was guessing she was going to come and shake my hand before the match. She was hot! She had on a white tube top, long blond hair, beautiful blue eyes, and big -- well you know guys.
Instead of shaking my hands she put her arms around my neck and kissed me right on the lips. She did this for about twenty seconds. The gross part is -- she even put her tongue in my mouth.
She backed away and smiled. For some reason Lizzie snapped! She slapped Angela across the face. Angela held her cheek for a second -- and then grabbed Lizzie by the neck.
"EEK!" Lizzie cried out. She tried to twist away.
"Hey, get off of her," I said. I moved forward, but for some reason I flew backwards. "Hey. I can't move."
Angela squeezed Lizzie's neck harder. "Do you know what I like about you -- Elizabeth?"
Lizzie didn't answer she tried to move forward, but Angela was a lot stronger than she looked. She grabbed Lizzie by the hair. Lizzie screamed again, but no one could hear her.
She extended her hand. I tried to extend mine, to pull Lizzie away from this evil girl. But I was stuck to the ground. "I can't move!"

Angela picked up Lizzie and dropped her on her head. She then climbed on top of Lizzie and started to bite her neck. Lizzie squealed. Angela then started to kiss Lizzie. Lizzie closed her eyes when Angela took a knife from her pocket. "Nooo!" Lizzie screamed.
"Stop!" I said. Angela cut Lizzie across the cheek. Lizzie screamed. Angela then slashed her in the leg.
"Say good-bye to your little friend," Angela said to me. She blew me a kiss and rose the knife above her head. I tried to move. Angela looked like she was about to stab it right through Lizzie's head.
She took it and quickly brought it down -- but a shot of water hit the knife. Angela dropped the knife to the ground. She bet down and picked it up again, but this time an electric charge hit Angela's arm. Angela turned around. Marill and Pikachu ran out of the bushes.
"Just in time," I muttered. "PIKACHU, SUPER THUNDERBOLT!"
Pikachu let off the biggest charge of electricity that I had ever seen in my life. Angela fell to the ground, but instead of yelling in pain, she laughed. She wasn't even hurt!
Angela rose her finger into the air. A lightning bolt came down and landed in front of Marill and Pikachu. The two Pokemon staggered backwards. I was finally able to get up. I didn't care if Angela was a girl or not. I balled my hand into a fist and punched her in the face. She gasped and fell to the ground. I took the knife and rose it above my head, attempting to do to her what she almost did to Lizzie. But then I realized that I would be sinking her to level -- and I would be a murderer. I just dropped the knife onto the grass. Angela looked up to me and then rose her hands above her head. After than she glowed white and vanished into thin air.
"Sh-she was a witch," Lizzie gasped.
     "I know," I said.
"No, she really was," Lizzie said. "I don't know why she attacked us like that, but you have to watch out for her. She might try to cheat in your match."
In the first match Sam beat John. In the second, Raven beat Shannon. Lizzie's match was up next. Pikachu and I sat in the stands and watched. Lizzie had a bandage on her cheek and a huge bandage on her knee. Those were the places Angela had cut her. Lizzie looked up and glared at Angela who was sitting in the stands. Angela waved as if she had done nothing wrong. "Pikachu, Pikachu, Pika, Pii," Pikachu whispered. (If Angela tries to use her powers in anyone's matches, I'll zap her.)
I nodded. In the first round, Mike used Pinsir against Lizzie's Marill. "Pinsir, Stomp!" Pinsir rose up a foot and tried to stomp on Marill, but Marill jumped up and spit water into Pinsir's face. Some people in the crowd laughed. This just made Pinsir angry. It used Tackle. Marill flipped in the air and landed on her feet. Pinsir then attempted a Body Slam. Marill rolled out of the way and again used spit water into Pinsir's face. Then Marill used Headbutt. Pinsir fell back, but picked up Marill and tossed her halfway across the gym floor. Marill landed hard on her stomach, but pushed herself up and used Bubblebeam.
Pinsir smacked the bubbles by using punches and Vicegrips."Now Marill, Ice Beam!"
Marill tried to use Ice Beam on Pinsir, but Pinsir simply sidestepped in and came back with a Body Slam. Marill was knocked out. Lizzie sighed and put Marill back into her Pokeball. She only had one more Pokemon. I had let Noctowl out of his pokeball. He sat on my knee and sat backwards, looking at Angela to make sure that she didn't use her powers.
Lizzie took out another pokeball. I could tell she meant to send out Sudowoodo, but instead, Metapod came out of the ball.
     "Oh no," I muttered.
Mike laughed. "Pinsir, Mega Kick." Pinsir kicked Metapod. Metapod slid backwards. "Now use Irongrip. This one should be over in seconds."
Pinsir put Metapod on its head and slowly closed in on it with its pincers.
"Metapod, Harden!" Lizzie cried. Metapod glowed green. Pinsir's pincers shattered. Pinsir yelled in pain. "Now, Metapod, use Tackle." Metapod tacked the injured Pinsir--twice. Pinsir fell to the ground knocked out.
"Pinsir, return," Mike said. He was shocked. Suddenly, Metapod glowed white and started to get bigger. It turned into a big pink butterfly.
"That Butterfree is pink!" someone from the crowd yelled. Lizzie's pink Butterfree paced around in the air. A lot of people clapped.
"Bulbasaur, go!" Mike yelled. FLASH! Bulbasaur popped out of its pokeball. "Sleep Powder!"
Bulbasaur tried to use Sleep Powder, but Butterfree used Gust. The powder flew back at Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur fell to sleep. "The match is over. The winners are Marill, Butterfree, and Lizzie," the referee said. Everyone clapped -- except for Angela. Next Douglas beat Adam, Rico beat Rosheeq, Deshawn beat Maria, and Milly beat Steve. My match against Angela was next. So far she didn't use her powers to interfere in anyone's matches.
She sent out Heracross in the beginning of the match against my Noctowl. "Noctowl, use Confuse Ray," I said. Noctowl shot a red ball of light at Heracross, but the ball turned at the last second.
"Hey!" I yelled at Angela. I knew she would use her psychic powers to cheat throughout the rest of the match.
"Heracross, Mega Punch," she said. Heracross punched Noctowl.
Noctowl cried out, but came back with a hard Wing Attack. Heracross fell backwards, and then came out with a Horn Attack. Noctowl dodged the attack, however and used two hard Peck attacks. Heracross tried to cover its head.
"Perfect! Noctowl, use Psybeam, and aim for its body." Heracross couldn't see the attack because its head was covered. Heracross was knocked out instantly.
"Heracross is unable to battle," the referee said. "The winner of the first fall is Noctowl." Everyone in the crowd let out a deafening cheer. Angela glared at me and took another ball from her pocket. "Go, Haunter!"
She sent out a purple head with two floating hands. I took out my Poke'dex. "Haunter, a ghost/poison type Pokemon. This Pokemon is the evolved form of Gastly and it will eat sleeping people's dreams and give them horrible nightmares."
"Noctowl, use Confuse Ray again!" Noctowl shot a red ball of light at Haunter, but again Angela moved her finger up and the Confuse Ray vanished. Noctowl was enraged. He used Psybeam on Haunter. Haunter fell to the ground. Noctowl flew over to Angela and pulled her hair with his talons. Angela screamed.
Noctowl's brow glowed purple. "Pikachu, Pika, Pii," Pikachu said. "Noctowl's about to use Psybeam on Angela!"
Before Noctowl could hit a Psybeam on Angela's pretty little head, Haunter grabbed it and used a Psybeam of its own on Noctowl. Noctowl fell to the ground, knocked out.
"Noctowl, return." I looked down on Pikachu. "That Haunter is pretty tough, but you can beat it, right?"
Pikachu nodded and stepped forward. "Pikachu, Quick Attack!" Pikachu tried to Quick Attack Haunter, but went right through.
Angela laughed. "Everyone knows that normal attacks don't work on ghost Pokemon. "Haunter, use Psyshock!" Haunter shot a blue beam of light at Pikachu. Pikachu went tumbling through the air.
"Pikachu, aim a Thundershock at the ground!" I yelled. Pikachu shot a sharp beam of electricity at the ground. That slowed down its fall. Pikachu landed safely on its feet, but its head still ached from that Psyshock.
"Haunter, Mean Look," Angela called to her Pokemon. Haunter's eyes glowed red. Pikachu stepped back. Suddenly all of my Pokeballs glowed white. "With Mean Look, Pikachu can't return until the match is completely over."
While Haunter and Angela were laughing I bent down to Pikachu and whispered, "Use that Thunder Surge move that I taught you last night." Pikachu nodded.
"Pikachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" it yelled. Pikachu shot a huge ball of electricity at Haunter. Haunter stopped laughing.
"Try to send it back with Confusion!" Angela yelled. Haunter shot a ball of blue energy at the Thunder Surge. The two attacks met each other, but Pikachu was stronger. Both attacks hit Haunter and there was an enormous explosion. Haunter was surrounded in a green light. There were five other explosions and when the smoke cleared away, Haunter was lying face-first on the ground.
"Haunter is unable to battle. The winner of the round and the match is Woody Redstreak!"
I walked over to Angela to shake her hand. Angela spit at my shoe and walked away. The crowd booed her out of the arena.
I picked up Pikachu and hugged it.

Later that night Sam defeated Milly. Lizzie defeated Deshawn's Beedrill and Onix with her Butterfree and Sudowoodo. Raven defeated Douglas and I battled Rico. We were both down to one Pokemon. His Drowzee knocked out Pikachu and my Scyther knocked out his Drowzee. Now he was using Corsola.
"Spike Cannon!" Rico yelled. Corsola shot a dozen of yellow spikes at Scyther, but Scyther slashed them all away. "Scyther, use False Swipe," I said. Scyther put his scythes in front of a chest forming an X. A beam of white light shapes like an X shot out of his body and hit Corsola. Corsola was now extremely weak.
"Now use the Spinning Cut that I taught you." Scyther stuck one scythe out, jumped up and spun as fast as possible. He hit Corsola four times. Corsola couldn't take it anymore and was knocked out. Scyther and I had won the match. Rico was eliminated. It was now down to 4 people.

We walked into the main office. The other four sat in there with us, waiting to find out who would be in the match against each other in the morning. "Okay," Mr. Larry said stepping into the room. "It's time to announce who will be battling tomorrow." He typed some letters on the computer. "Okay, the first match will be Sam vs. Raven. And the second match will be... Woody vs. Lizzie."
My eyes got big. So did Lizzie's. We looked at each other. The room was quiet.

The next morning after Lizzie and I had gotten something to eat from the cafeteria, we watched Sam and Raven's match. Raven defeated Sam's Poliwag and Pichu with her Pidgey and Machop.
"Our match is up next," I said to Lizzie. "In five minutes one of us will be stripped of the chance to win the Lapras. Of course after I beat you, you can be brought back for the Wild Card drawing."
Lizzie glared at me. "Who said would lose? Maybe I could beat you."
     "You wish," I said.
"I'll show you," she said. "Whichever one of us wins, will face one of the Wild Card winners. After we defeat them, we'll face either Raven or the second Wild Card winner to see who owns the Lapras."
We stood on opposite sides of the gym floor, each with Pokeballs in our hands. "Go, Sudowoodo!" Lizzie cried throwing her Pokeball across the floor. Sudowoodo popped out.
"Quilava, let's do this," I said to Quilava's Pokeball. I threw it into the air and Quilava popped out, ready to face Sudowoodo. The match went on for about two minutes with both Pokemon using Tackles and Headbutts mostly.
"Sudowoodo, Low Kick," Lizzie said. Sudowoodo slid across the floor with his foot out. However, the quicker Quilava jumped over Sudowoodo and shot down some tiny fireballs. Sudowoodo rolled out of the way and used Rock Throw. Three rocks shot out of his fists and they hit Quilava. Quilava held its head in pain. While Quilava was holding its head on the grounds with its paws on its head Sudowoodo hit a Low Kick that sent Quilava flying through the air. Quilava landed on its feet however and used Quick Attack on Sudowoodo. Sudowoodo fell backwards and Quilava got a look of triumph on his face. Sudowoodo rolled over.
"Mimic!" Lizzie yelled. Sudowoodo shot white beams of energy out of his fists at Quilava. Quilava didn't seem to be hurt at all, but Sudowoodo shot blasts of fire out of his fists.
Quilava dodged the first 4 Flamethrower attacks. The fifth one hit Quilava dead on. It looked like Quilava would be knocked out. There was smoke surrounding Quilava, but all of a sudden, a glowing Quilava shot out and smashed right into Sudowoodo.
I took out my Poke'dex to see what that move was. "Speedslam. This a move that very few Pokemon learn. It is where a Pokemon hits a running Headbutt on its opponent at over 30 mph."
Sudowoodo was dizzy because of the Speedslam. "Now Swirl Flame!" I yelled. (Quilava learned Swirl Flame in the battle for the Farmbadge.)
Sudowoodo was knocked out. "Sudowoodo is unable to battle," the ref said. "The winner of the first round is Quilava."
The crowd cheers. Lizzie picked her next Pokemon carefully. Either Butterfree or Marill. "Marill, go." Marill popped out of the Pokeball.
"Quilava, Tackle!" Quilava tackled Marill down to the ground as soon as he came out of the Pokeball.
"Marill, shoot up a Bubblebeam," Lizzie said.
Marill shot a stream of rock-hard bubbles at Quilava. Quilava was really weakened from the match against Sudowoodo, so Quilava was easily knocked unconscious when Marill hit the attack.
"Pikachu, go!" Pikachu jumped off of my head and hit a quick Thunderbolt on Marill.
"NO!" Lizzie cried. The electric attack knocked out Marill instantly.
"Marill is unable to battle. The winner is Woody."
Lizzie returned Marill and dropped to her knees with her head down. I walked over to her and bent down next to her. She lifted up her head. "You're right. I can't beat you."
I didn't say anything. I wanted to encourage Lizzie, but I was the winner. "Lizzie, you're a great trainer," I said. "I'll give you a rematch anytime."
Lizzie looked up at me. "I'd like that."

We went back inside for the Wild Card drawing. "Okay, there are two people left. Woody and Raven. Now it is time to bring back two more people for a final time. Okay, here it is. The judges have made their decisions on how the trainers who didn't win have battled. And the two winners of the Wild Card drawing are-- drum roll please." Someone pressed a button on radio and a sound of a fast drum roll started playing. "Angela and Lizzie!"
I turned to Lizzie and she smiled. "I guess we could be getting that rematch."
     "Maybe," I said.
The computer screen blinked. "The first match is Raven vs. Woody and the second is Angela vs. Lizzie."
"I have a chance to get back at Angela," Lizzie said. "Marill, Butterfree, and Sudowoodo will get back at her. I know it!"

"Pidgeotto, Quick Attack!" Raven said. Pidgeotto sped at Noctowl with a fast charge attack. Noctowl dodged out of the way.
"Psybeam!" I cried. Noctowl used a hard Psybeam on Pidgeotto. Pidgeotto fell to the ground, knocked out.
"Pidgeotto is unable to battle. The winner of the match is Woody!" Raven shook my hand. Noctowl had defeated both her Magnemite and her Pidgeotto. I recalled Noctowl and walked back to the stands to sit for the semifinal match. I was now in the finals and I knew exactly which Pokemon I could use against either Raven or Lizzie.
In the first round, Lizzie's Sudowoodo knocked out Angela's Elekid with a Rock Slide attack. "I choose you, Haunter!" Angela said throwing her Pokeball through the air. In a flash of white light, Haunter appeared.
"Sudowoodo, Dig," Lizzie said. Sudowoodo burrowed a hole under the ground. Haunter looked around. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Angela twitch her finger, and Sudowoodo shot out of the ground, but right before he hit Haunter, he swerved the rong way and slammed into the ground.
"Hey, no fair!" I yelled out of the stands. Of course, the crowd was cheering so loud, that they couldn't hear me.
Haunter used a Night Shade on Sudowoodo. A black beam of-- something hit Sudowoodo. Sudowoodo fell down. Lizzie returned him and without even thinking about it, just randomly threw a Pokeball.
Butterfree came out. "Butterfree, Confusion," Lizzie said. Butterfree used Confusion on Haunter. The ghost Pokemon however was too quick as it absorbed the blow and shot it right back at Butterfree with twice as much impact. butterfree was down, but not out. The little pink butterfly was still in the fight.
"Haunter, Curse!" Angela cried. She then laughed. A black figure, shaped like Haunter went right through Butterfree. however, Haunter looked a lot weaker also.
"Haunter may have taken some energy from itself," Angela said. "However, every time your Butterfree moves, it will start to get weaker and weaker. That is part of my master plan. Blah, blah, blah. Haunter, Night Shade!"
Haunter used night Shade and Butterfree fell back to the ground. "A second one!"
Haunter used the move again, but this time, Butterfree rolled out of the way. "Sleep Powder!" Lizzie yelled as quickly as she could. Butterfree flapped its wings extremely hard, and a tronado of blue powder flew onto Haunter. Haunter instantly fell asleep.
The refree started counting. If Haunter didn't wake up in five seconds, the match would go to Lizzie.
"One, two, three, four, five! Haunter's unable to battle. The winner of the round and the match is Lizzie."
Angela had a fit. She jumped up and down, screaming. Security actually had to carry her out. The whole crowd started laughing. I clapped for Lizzie and Butterfree.
We didn't have much time before our match to prepare. We healed our Pokemon and went to the gym floor. "The following bout is a two Pokemon each match. The winner will recieve Lapras."
Lizzie and I shook hands before the match. She sent out Marill. "Go, Scyther!" I said.
There was a huge size difference between the two Pokemon. "Scyther, Fury Cutter," I ordered. Scyther cut Marill three times, each time picking up more power, but marill got out of the way eventually and used Bubble. Scyther was barely affected. He then used a Tackle. Marill went flying through the air.
"Marill, use your Water Gun attack," Lizzie suggested to her Pokemon. Marill shot a blast of freezing cold water at Scyther. Scyther cried out as the water sprayed it.
"Spinning Cut attack," I said. Spyther stuck one scythe out and spun extremely fast. He tried to cut Marill with the attack, but Marill jumped over Scyther's head, but as he came down Scyther used a Scratch attack and sent Marill flying through the air. Marill landed on her back and Scyther prepared for another attack.
     "Marill, Bubblebeam!"
Marill shot rock hard bubbles at Scyther. The bubbles knocked Scyther hard to the ground. It looked like Marill would finish off Scyther with an Ice Beam, however Scyther managed to block the attack.
"Scyther, use a Quick Attack, now," I said. Scyther charged into Marill.
"Marill is unable to battle," the ref said. "The winner of the first round is Scyther."
Lizzie recalled Marill and then sent out Sudowoodo. Sudowoodo taunted Scyther by swinging its hips and mocking him. This got Scyther angry. "Scyther, use Rage!"
Scyther glowed red and started randomly attacking Sudowoodo with a series of attacks.
Sudowoodo jumped up and flipped over Scyther while using Rock Throw. Four huge rocks fell onto Scyther. Scyther couldn't avoid them in time and fell to one knee in pain. Sudowoodo then hit a Low Kick on Scyther. Scyther was knocked off of his feet. He tried to get up, but fell back down.
"Scyther is unable to battle," the referee said holding up a green flag. "The winner of the second round is Sudowoodo. The winner of the next round recieves Lapras as a prize."
"Pikachu, are your ready to battle?"
Pikachu looked up at me with his hands balled into fists and nodded. He stepped in front of Sudowoodo. "Sudowoodo, Low Kick," Lizzie said. Sudowoodo slid across the floor with his foot out. Unlike Scyther, Pikachu moved out of the way. The two Pokemon exchanged attacks and after about three minutes into the match, they were both exhausted.
"Pikachu, Quick Attack," I ordered. Pikachu ran at Sudowoodo, but Sudowoodo tossed Pikachu over his head. Pikachu landed back on his feet.
"Sudowoodo, Mimic Thunderbolt," Lizzie said. Sudowoodo concentrated or about five seconds and then glowed white. Sudowoodo shot a Thunderbolt at Pikachu. The attack shocked Pikachu heavily. Pikachu fell to the ground, shaking.
"Finish it off with Rock Slide!" Sudowoodo sent about a dozen rocks fkying at Pikachu.
"Oh no," I muttered. "Pikachu, you have to move!"
It looked like Pikachu would be hit since it was lying face first on the ground, but all of a sudden one ear perked up and rolled out of the way. Sudowoodo was flabbergasted, a word here which means "highly concerned or surprised."
"Pikachu, show Sudowoodo and Lizzie your  Rock Slide!"
"Pikachu can't learn Rock Slide," Lizzie muttered to herself. Pikachu shot an electrical shock at the ground. Rocks flew up and hit Sudowoodo.
"Woodo!" Sudowoodo cried as it flew through the air. While it was in the air, Pikachu used Thundershock. Sudowodo landed right on its head onto the gym floor.
"Sudowoodo is unable to continue this battle. The winners of this tournament are Woody and his Pokemon." The crowd cheered. Mr. Larry handed me a Lure Ball. Inside it was Lapras. I walked over to Lizzie. She looked shocked. I stepped in front of her, but she turned her head, her mouth hanging open as if I had slapped her or something.
I though she would cry again, but instead she started to clap. The crowd also clapped. She smiled. "That was a good rematch," she said. "But one day I'll win."
I nodded to Lizzie. "I know you will. But right now, we have to worry about getting to Verdes City." We lookd over the hill to see a huge city in the view. "There I can compete for my Petal Badge." I looked at my Lure Ball containing Lapras. "Lapras is a Water and Ice Type Pokemon. Heh, heh. Ice ice baby."
