The T.V. flickered, but remained on. Misty looked up from her diary and saw that the weather channel was on. Boring! Misty stood up to turn it off, when suddenly it came back from commercials. "We now return to Storm Watch, with meteorologist Jim Nagasaki." Misty was now watching with interest. 'Storm?' Misty glanced out of the window, only to see a snow-white exterior. Was it snowing? Was it snowing that much? The T.V. soon answered her question. "Thank you Alex, we're following a massive storm body that's sweeping across the world. Hurricane Charlie has swept across the United States so quickly, that it soon reached the Pacific Ocean, where it started sucking up warmer then average west coast waters. Then it became smaller in size, and colder in temperature when a sudden drop in temperature occurred in the ocean. Experts believe this sudden drop in temperature is due to melting polar ice caps. The storm has passed over Hawaii, and in now here, covering the entire country from Snow point City in Sinnoh to Ever Grande City in Hoenn. Expect up to three meters of snow if you are north of Hoenn, and expect two in Hoenn." Misty ran to the front doors of the gym. They opened as she approached them, and she ran outside. The weather was freezing. She glanced up at the gym. It was half buried in snow. She ran back inside. "Misty!" Misty responded to her name by opening her eyes wide. "Daisy?" Misty called back. "Misty come down here and leave that darn T.V. alone." Misty walked into the kitchen, where her three sisters were putting the finishing touches on dinner. Kraft Mac and Cheese. "What are you three doing home? I didn't expect you until tomorrow!" "We wanted a bit of time on the beach before we came home, but with this weather, we didn't want to get frostbite!" Violet said. "Now come sit down for dinner," Lily ordered as the three girls sat down at the table. Misty sat with them. "Look, I'm glad you're home, but I can't stay very long. I'm going to Hoenn, as soon as I can find a way to get there," Misty finished wearily. "I don't think that's a good idea..." Lily started "I don't care what you think, I just need you guys to take over the gym," Misty interrupted. Lily wanted to speak but Violet spoke instead. "How long will you be gone?" "A while." "How long's a while?" "Depends..." "On?" Daisy answered this one. "On how long Ash wants her!" "Not true!" "Really?" "Err... SHUT UP!" "Fine. You can go, if you can get there." Violet was the one to finally take Misty's side. "Thank you." After dinner, the girls all went there own ways. Misty went to the gym, next to the lobby. She watched as Gyarados swim around with her other pokemon, while Psyduck sat floating in his inflatable tube. She was dreaming of Ash. Then she heard a noise that sounded like a massive wind tunnel, mixed with the noise of fire, cracking ice, and the sizzling of snow on fire. Something had just happened outside.
