Part 4: Cliff Clenching

Disclaimer: If you guys haven't read Part 3 yet, then you do it! Read my General [although it should be OT...sorry.] story Markus's Adventure. I'm a Review Freak, so gimme those reviews. Now, is there any lawyer out there that wants to sue me for something I didn't do? "You mean you don't own Pokemon? " Asks a lawyer. "YOU THINK?" I respond. Thank you, you've been a lovely reader, now read Part 4: Cliff Clenching!

“May! Wait!” Ash yelled, running towards May, his ten-year-old lover. May didn’t even bother to even listen to him; she just kept her pace and started to run even faster. She was crying and shedding tears, then starting to wail. Ash got angry at himself and just slapped his forehead. ‘Why am I such a sap?’ he thought. ‘I can’t believe that after about three weeks of traveling with May, I can’t have a single, stupid romantic night with her?’

Misty was getting a little curious. ‘Why is Ash running off? Unless he…” she gasped. ‘MAY,’ she thought furiously.

Pretty soon, Ash lost track of May’s trail and ran off to another area. The floor started to shake and pretty soon, he fell off, then grasped onto a branch. “HELP!!!” Ash yelled. There was no reply, just a blow of wind.

Misty was getting nervous. ‘Does he love her?’ she asked to herself. Then she heard a cry. ‘Is it Ash?’ she asked again. She ran to where the noise came from. “ASH!” she yelled.

“MISTY! HELP! I NEED YOU! I DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOU! GO TELL BROCK TO GET A ROPE! GO FIND HIM! I’LL BE WAITING! HURRY!” Ash yelled. Misty nodded and ran [Note: Togepi is not with her now; it’s at camp. Sorry I didn’t mention this earlier].

Misty ran to camp. Brock, Max, and May were all there, eating the chicken noodle stew.

“Well, if it isn’t Miss I Love Ash!” May scowled.

“May, easy there,” said Brock as if she were an Ursaring in a cage.

“Yeah, May, it’s no big deal. You win a heart, you lose a love,” said Max, trying to ease her pain.

“Hurry…get…rope…Ash…cliff…going to…die…” Misty panted.

“Holy smoke! May, get Silcoon! We need its String Shot attack! We used the rope for the clothes line!” panicked Max.

“Right! Come on out, Silcoon!” said May, eager to save her Prince Charming.

“Sil—coon!” said May’s Bug Pokemon. Misty got chickened out.

“Let’s go!” said Brock, dropping his stirring spoon.

The group of four fled towards the area where Ash was hanging by the small branch. Ash was breathing frantically and starting to worry. ‘Good bye…Misty…’ he shed a tear. Misty noticed and sort of connected with Ash’s thought. Then Ash felt warmness inside of him. ‘Misty…’ he thought again.

“Silcoon, String Shot! Lift Ash up to safety!” May ordered.

Silcoon did what it was told and lifted Ash. It was a struggle, and then finally, Ash was on his feet again, breathing heavily. “Thanks…you guys…especially…you…M-May.” May blushed at the comment.

“Looks like they need alone time. Come on guys, who wants dinner?” Brock asked. Max and Misty followed. Then, Misty went by a small tree and stayed behind it, eavesdropping on the two young kids’ conversation. Brock noticed this, and pulled Misty by the ear.

“Now how do you like it, Misty?” Brock asked, tightly pulling on Misty’s ear.

“OWWW!” She said with the redness all over her left ear.

Ash’s brand-new tuxedo was now covered with dirt and he was a mess. He got nervous and asked very quickly to May, “Do you love me like I love you?”

May blushed so red, she was a Magby! “That depends, how much do you love me?” she asked back.

Ash got nervous then his body was moving all by itself. He leaned forward and kissed May on the lips so passionately, he was enjoying it as much as May was.

“Like that,” he responded, resuming his position. “May, sweetie? Are you there?”

May didn’t move. “Oh, I love you too, Ash Ketchum!” she replied, leaning forward to hug him.

“I know, sweetie, I know.” Ash walked with May back to camp, holding hands, looking at each other with love and passion. When they came back to camp, Brock was chuckling and thinking, ‘If only she was my age,’ and a shocked Misty saw those two holding hands and looking at each other, the letting go all in one motion in unison.

“Ash…how could y-…” Misty started, her turquoise eyes getting watery and teary.

“Misty, can I speak to you privately? It’s about…us,” he said.

Misty’s tears were starting to drop, but then, magically, went back to Misty’s eyes and she followed Ash to a location with a waterfall.

“Misty, you know that picture you gave me?” Ash asked.

“Mm-hmm,” Misty responded with a nod.

“Well, this picture is going to be changed, instead of on the cheek, make it the lips because you are my one true love.”

“But I thought that…I mean what I saw was…”

Ash finished her sentence.” Small love, Misty. I only loved her as much as she did. For you, I want to become a boyfriend to you. Maybe even marry you someday. I love you so much, I might kiss you on the lips for maybe even ten minutes and just stare into those beautiful pools of color you call eyes. Now do you understand? I love you with all my heart.”

“Ash…I love you.”

“I know, sweetheart.” Ash let her sit down on a flat rock and so did he. They leaned forward and first it started as a Spearow’s peck, but then it turned into a wet and very passionate kiss. They loved every minute, no, every second of it.

“Bravo, Ash, Bravo,” said Brock.

Brock and Max had been staying in that spot with them, then used PokeGear to call all of Ash’s friends to come, and in a moment’s flash, all of Ash’s friends were on flying Pokemon then returned them, looking at the two lovebirds kiss. Gary, Richie, A.J., Casey, Sakura, and yes, Jessie, James, and Meowth were looking at them.

“Jessie, look at them. You know, I’ve been expecting it with you,” James said, not knowing what he just said.

“What?” Jessie asked.
