James was slapped by reality again. “Nothing, Jessie! It’s nothing…” said James, blushing the most darkest of all crimsons.

May was in the bushes when she heard the whole conversation between Ash and Misty. She was so angry; she could let out a Hyper Beam attack. ‘He wants her…’ she thought. Ash noticed that familiar face and just ignored her. ‘It was all a lie! He did that to make me feel better! This Ash…I’m going to get rid of Misty, once and for ALL! And see how she likes it when she’s all alone with no one to love her!’

“May’s here…” said Ash, annoyed.

“I could see her. She’s running off to camp, Ash,” Misty replied.

May ran off to camp, and grabbed Torchic’s and Silcoon’s Pokeballs. She ran right back to where Ash and Misty were, and looked at Misty straight in the eye with anger and hate.

“MISTY, I CHALLENGE YOU TO A TWO-ON-TWO POKEMON MATCH! Whoever wins gets to keep Ash’s love and the loser? Well, let’s just say they will walk a cold, long, and hard path on the cobblestone road of romantic life!” challenged May.

“I accept. Ash, will you mind being the referee?” Misty asked.

“Yes. Each trainer will use two Pokemon each. The battle will end when either Pokemon is considered unable to battle. Now let’s begin!”

“Starmie, go!” said Misty, throwing her Starmie’s Pokeball.

“Silcoon, I choose you!” said May, throwing out the Pokeball containing Silcoon.

The two Pokemon took their battle poses.

“Starmie, Water Gun!” ordered Misty.

Starmie fired a jet of water towards Silcoon and was hurt, badly.

“Silcoon, Tackle it!” May commanded.

Silcoon jumped in mid-air and swooped down at Starmie.

“Dive!” was all Misty said.

Starmie dived underwater. It didn’t surface, at least not yet. Silcoon aimed for Starmie and missed.

“Dive up!” ordered Misty.

Starmie arose from the watery surface and Tackled Silcoon hard. Silcoon was completely injured and was considered unable to battle. May was left with Torchic, her fire-type who she knew was weak to water-type attacks.

“I…I…I surrender,” said May. ‘My love, I have failed you. I will never love again.’ May shed a tear, then started to bawl crying. She was disappointed that she couldn’t get her 12-year-old love to notice her beauty, her charm, and her kindness.

“HUMPH!” said Misty.

May cried all the way back to camp, ignoring the fact that Team Rocket was right near her. They followed her, not because they want to steal her Pokemon, but to ease her pain.

“What is it tw-I mean May?” asked Jessie.

“I…how would you feel if you did something so stupid in front of the person you love?” asked May.

“Tell me about it, I do it all the time!” said James.

“You’re a nut,” said Meowth.

“WOBBUFFET!”

“Get back in your ball!” said Jessie rudely.

“Oh…I hate this! And in front of Ash, too.”

“Love is hard to find, but you will find one one day [gives you a hint of something “Who else is ten-years-old?” If you read my other story you should know. In fact, there are two boys. That means sooner or later they will meet. BIG PREVIEW for Markus’s Adventure!],” said James.

“I guess you’re right!”

“Yeah, now give us your Pokemon! Psyche, I’m just kidding. The author is paying us to not steal Pokemon!”

“But you did it at the boardwalk,” replied May.

“That was then! This is now!” replied Jessie meanly.

“O…kay,” said May.

“Anyways, you will always find wuv. As long as you keep searching, you will find the one you wuv. It is always true, May,” said Meowth with sympathy. “Trust me, Meowsy was the one I wuved. In order for me t’ get what I needed, I needed t’ walk and talk like a human. But she still rejected me-e-e-e! Me—OWTH!” Meowth started to bawl like a big fat baby. But he did go through pain, so May can know what it feels like and many people, and Pokemon go through it.

“I hope that helped. Now good-bye,” said Jessie.

“Thank you,” replied May.

The trio of so-called Pokemon thieves left the area and left, saying, “Looks like Team Rocket is helping and leaving again!”

May walked towards Ash and pecked him on the cheek. Ash knew that was a forgiving kiss and just left it at that. Ash hugged her and brushed her hair. May was crying on Ash’s left shoulder. Ash felt that May loved him so much and starting a relationship with Misty was not good at all. Ash was going to make sure of it that both May and Misty will love him.

“May, sweetie?” Ash asked.

“Huh?” asked May in response.

Ash sighed and then took in a deep breath. ‘Here goes,’ Ash thought. “You know I love Misty right?”

“Yeah.”

“Where are you going with this, Ash?” asked a confused Misty.

“A re-date,” replied Ash. “You both are going on a date with me. Hey, Gary, toss me that PokeGear over here!”

“Sure, you lucky thing, you!” replied Gary, tossing a PokeGear. All trainers that Brock called chose Flying-type Pokemon and left. The only people who were left were Richie, Gary, Ash, May, Max, Brock, Misty, and Sakura.

“Wow, Ash, you are one lucky guy!” said Richie.

“Yup!” agreed Sakura.

Ash dialed his PokeGear to the Charicific Valley. “Liza, it’s Ash. Bring Charizard to the Petalburg Woods in Hoenn. I need a ride to Shamuti Island.”

“Sure thing, Ash!” said Liza. She whistled. Charizard and Charla appeared. “A ride to Hoenn is all I need. You guys are going to see Ash again.” Charizard roared happily. He was going to see his trainer again.

When the trio arrived, Ash grabbed May first and placed her on Charizard, then Misty, then Togepi, then his Pikachu, then he climbed on, Pikachu in his lap, May and Misty leaning on each of his shoulders, admiring this handsome twelve-year-old.

“Why are we going to Shamuti?” asked Misty.

“We are going to visit an old friend and let her play a melody for us,” replied Ash. “Charizard, go to Shamuti Island!”

Charizard nodded and roared in a tone almost saying, “Aye aye, Captain Ash!” in Pokemon language. It flew at high speeds, heading towards the island where Ash got his first kiss, his first ride on a Lugia, and the spot where he saved the world for the first time. Shamuti Island. For a performance that May and Misty will remember, and perhaps regret, forever.
