Part Eight: The Earthshaking Battle!

Disclaimer: Hey. I have been working on this for a week, editing and editing and editing.....over and over and over again. I got a total of 15 reviews for both stories, and that is the same amount of votes I got for this story! HOORAY! Ahem...I am thinking of a sequel and a couple of other stories...so I am very busy in my mind and in my homework. I have Spring Break, so about another 3-5 parts in both stories can be accomplished. THanks for supporting me, Misty101803 all the way with the honest reviews. So, with those good reviews, I give you Part 8!

A girl about the age of thirteen was walking along the shoreline of an island named Shamuti, then heard a song sung by a twelve-year-old boy by the name of Ash Ketchum. She was wearing a light blue dress, anticipated by Ash to take her out on a date, then all of this happened.

“That’s Ash…” said the girl.

Along with her was an eleven-year-old girl, as well as a ten-year-old girl, all brokenhearted by a small clash just because of a rescuing and accusation. They were dirty, all of them, with rope marks all over their stomachs.

A boy, dressed in a black tuxedo, looking as charming as possible with his black hair resembling that of Elvis Presley, was crying uncontrollably atop a cold mountain on a cold island. The name of that island was known as Ice Island. Articuno, one of the legendary birds sat atop with the boy, known as Ash Ketchum, future Pokemon master.

“Why? Why? Why did I do this to myself?” said a discontented Ash, pounding his fists into the snow, not realizing the temperature of the snow was seven degrees below zero. His hands were ice cold, and his mucus froze as soon as it touched the snow. All was lost for Ash. He lost his only three girlfriends, especially Misty, the one he loved most. Why was romance full of torment and woe?

“Guys, I heard something. I’m going to go check it out,” said the thirteen-year-old redhead, Misty, the “runt of Cerulean”.

“Okay, but I could’ve sworn I didn’t hear anything,” replied May, the ten-year-old girl with the most charming voice ever.

Back at the camp, Max, Richie, Gary, Brock, and Liza were all sitting around the campfire, just thinking, talking, and mingling.

“I wonder what happened over there. The guys were at Shamuti for a very long time,” pondered Max aloud.

“I don’t know, Max. It could be a long date…” started Brock.

“…Or a terrible disaster,” Gary finished, unaware of the people giving mean glances at him.

At Ice, Fire, and Lightning Island, the three stooges, Jessie, James, and Meowth from Team Rocket had little gizmos and gadgets to control the minds of the three legendary birds.

“Articuno, attack!” said Meowth, pushing a button on the mechanism. Articuno felt a small zap, uttering a cry of pain. Its eyes transformed from calm and happy to red and furious. It executed potent Ice Beam attacks at Ash. In a moment’s flash, Ash was frozen solid.

Misty kept running at high speeds to the nearest motorboat and boarded one. She accelerated at 98mph to Ice Island, wondering what was taking Ash so long. She approached the shoreline. She ran up the multiple flights of frozen solid steps, slipping and sliding. But that didn’t stop her; she just kept going.

She approached the summit of the island and was dazzled at the amazing works made by Articuno. Then she saw it with her own two eyes. A frozen Ash was sitting there atop the mountain, with a frozen tear shedding down his cheek.

“Ash…no!” She sobbed uncontrollably. Articuno was furious. It smirked and fled off towards Fire Island. It knew what Misty was going to do and told Moltres everything. Jessie pushed the same red button that Meowth pressed. The mechanism controlled Moltres and Moltres, like Articuno went on a rampage, destroying everything in sight.

Misty rushed down the icy steps, and ran to the shore, boarded the motorboat and took off. Articuno followed angrily. Approaching with caution were May and Melody, armed with Pokeballs in hand [In my story, Melody has every Eevee form except Eevee and a Donphan. Don’t sue me!], riding on jet skis towards Fire Island. Moltres followed, aiming dead center on Misty’s motorboat. May and Melody paid no attention to it whatsoever.

As Misty approached Fire Island, desperate for revenge, a bizarre and unexpected event occurred. The frozen Ash was sitting on the shoreline, or so it seems. Misty cautiously walked towards the ice block and felt a small earthquake. The shoreline was actually a small layer of sand, and underneath it was a big, heaping pile of 6500-degree molten lava!

“Vaporeon, Hydro Pump!” Melody ordered, throwing her Water-type’s Pokeball.

A blue mermaid-like Pokemon emerged from its Pokeball. It has three fins on its head and a curved tail. All fishermen admire it. It unleashed a huge big, blue ball of water the size of three bowling balls stacked atop one another aimed directly at the lava. It simmered down to but a mere steam.

“What the…” Misty started. “May? Melody?”

“Hey Misty! We’re here to help you and save Ash!” yelled May, waving at Misty with Vaporeon at her left.

They docked in and jumped off. Melody returned Vaporeon as they walked along the beach. They walked along, not knowing that they were falling into Team Rocket’s trap, step-by-step, inch-by-inch.

Misty asked the two girls, “Why are you here? We didn’t settle our differences.”

“We had to help Ash,” replied Melody with arrogance.

“Yeah, so we can get our just rewards!” May finished.

The girls walked along, still unnoticing that they are the next victims of the Clash of the Ash-girls. Misty noticed a small binder on a rock. On the cover it read: TR Plan #884: Operation COTA: Clash of the Ash-girls.

“Hey guys, check this out!” Misty called out.

“What is it?” asked May.

“A plan, let’s read it,” answered Melody and Misty together.

March 17th

We have all been deteriorating every plan we had to pilfer the twerp’s Pikachu. We lost every time, but I can assure that this plan can be followed without any disturbances, distractions, or interruptions. Within three days, we will steal the girlfriend magnet twerp Ash, and make the girlfriends of his come to his rescue. Although it is a little bit tampering with our plans, it may work. Our innovative technology has surpassed the modern scientist. We can control a Pokemon’s attitude all with the push of a button. We will accomplish everything at once and succeed.

James

May gasped. “Us? We’re bait for some little silly scheme of theirs? That…that’s just not right!”

“Hold on there’s more,” said Misty.

March 21st

Our preparation is imminent mutually. We faked surrenders to the twerp and Duplica has aided us many times in this go-around. The diplomacy’s puzzle pieces are being put into place resolutely. The girls are divulging Ash, but I’m not so sure about that. Now, we’re just going to terminate Ash, steal his Pikachu, give it to the boss, as well as steal every Pokemon in the entire planet. Team Rocket will be impregnable! Ma ha ho! The girls’ hearts will be shattered, as well as the twerp’s. Literally.

James

“Terminate? Oh no! Ash is going to die!” Misty panicked.

“We will save Ash. I can guarantee it,” Melody said, Espeon’s Pokeball in hand.

“What makes you so certain, Melody?” asked Misty.

“Because I…have…hope,” Melody answered. “Once Ash is back, we will be thankful!”

A dark silhouette walked across the shoreline and walked up the stairs, jumped off and landed on its knee. It stepped forward and revealed to be…

“Ash? But, you, it, I mean.”

“You think I’m Ash? Please! I am Giovanni, and I am going to kill you if you don’t leave this area immediately!” barked Giovanni, dressed in Ash’s black tuxedo, looking almost exactly like him. He was holding the girls in his clenched fist. He threw them on the ground, all face-first. Their faces were almost burned, but yet, still intact.

“We refuse!” Misty snapped.

“Strong, yet…weak,” said Giovanni, squishing Misty with his fists. Misty was getting completely hurt and bruised, whilst May and Melody stood by, immobilized by Giovanni’s throw. Misty kept getting hit, punch-by-punch, kick-by-kick, and throw-by-throw.

The two other females snapped out and approached Giovanni.

“Giovanni, I challenge you to a Pokemon match!”

“Fine with me, you little Wurmple. Loser gets thrown into the lava pit,” Giovanni said, assuring that he’d win.

“Six on six is fine with me, wimp!”

“I’ll use three against your six, you pathetic little worthless Magikarp!” Giovanni snapped, still assurance in his voice. “Go, Camerupt!”

“Go, Vaporeon!” shouted Melody.

A camel-like Pokemon emerged from its Pokeball. It had two volcanoes on its hunched over back, and three blue rings in its belly. It had hooves and a small tail. It stomped its foot into the earth and roared loudly, causing a small earth shaker.

Vaporeon, the mermaid-like Pokemon emerged from its Pokeball and growled cutely. Its eyes transformed from cute and cuddly to fierce and dangerous.

“Vaporeon, Surf!” Melody ordered.

“Camerupt, Double Team!” Giovanni said cleverly.

Camerupt perfectly turned from one camel to eight, spinning quickly around Vaporeon, confusing it.

“Water Gun! Find the right one!” Melody said shakily.

Vaporeon fired a jet of clear water at Camerupt. Unfortunately, it hit the illusion.

“Camerupt, Fissure!” Giovanni barked.

Camerupt unleashed a mighty Fissure attack, causing a completely powerful earthquake with a deadly magnitude of 34. It was a one-hit KO!

“Vaporeon, NO!” cried Melody.

Giovanni chuckled evilly, striking an evil pose. “Huh-huh-huh. You possibly think you can defeat Team Rocket’s and soon the world’s supreme leader, Giovanni? You have a better chance of winning when battling an infant, or a Magikarp. You don’t stand a chance against me!”

“Donphan, go!” Melody yelled.

“Hmm…pathetic little Pokemon…it looks feeble. Camerupt, return. Go, Whiscash!”

A catfish-like Pokemon emerged from its Pokeball and stood there, dumb-looking and ugly. Some people call him Mr. Ugly, like me! [And he is in my Elite 4 Team, LOL.]

“Surf!” Giovanni barked.

Whiscash caused a humongous wave, causing a big splash, hurting Donphan badly. It was drenched with the freezing temperatures of frozen water, thanks to the one and only Articuno. Donphan was both weak to cold temperatures {Ice} as well as wetness {Water}, so she was knocked out in one blow.

“Donphan, return!” yelled Melody sadly. She cried. Two down, four to go. “Jolteon! Go and use Take Down!”

“Another wimp! The pathetic little runt can’t even choose the right Pokemon! Whiscash, Earthquake!” Giovanni reprimanded.

The earth shook hard, causing everybody, including Giovanni, to lose his or her balance. Jolteon fell to the floor, unconscious. It was also declared unable to battle.

“You’ll pay! Go, Umbreon!”

A black Pokemon with goldenrod rings appeared. It howled and moonlight shone on it. It was ready to pounce.

“Return, Whiscash, go Nidoking!”

A huge Pokemon that is completely purple and beige appeared in the moonlight. It was about twice the size of Ash Ketchum and a Pikachu or two. It roared fiercely and scared Umbreon completely, as well as Melody. May was also frightened and Misty…she was gone…

There she was, sneakily and stealthily running towards the motorboat, dodging the remains of the lava pit. She jumped in and took off, heading towards Ice Island, a silhouette following her every move. It was Moltres.

Misty accelerated all the way to Ice Island, desperate for this unfortunate turn of events to come to an abrupt halt and impede. She ran up the icy flights of stairs again for the third time, Articuno freezing everything in sight. Moltres still followed.

Misty approached the summit again. She just looked at the frozen figure and cried, tears falling into the snow. She didn’t have any Fire-types with her at the moment and just kept crying. “Ash, I love you. Don’t go away from me. I need you, I love you.”

Moltres appeared from the sky and landed on the summit with Misty. It unleashed a mighty Flamethrower attack, barely missing the ice block and aimed directly at Misty. Misty wasn’t looking and…sizzle! Misty was burnt! She felt her skin burn and started diving her hands and arms into the snow. Moltres was already in the air, almost ready to unleash a Sky Attack.

Misty was relaxed by the cold snow and then, it happened. The Sky Attack was unleashed and Ash was caught in it.

“ASH! NO!” Misty cried. Fortunately for Misty, part of the ice block was melted and Ash’s head was free. He started to breathe heavily. He was completely frozen and his entire body was as cold as a Jynx in the Seafloor Cavern! He was numb, his body completely blue. Misty, as scared as she was, kept herself calm, cool, and collected. Melody was suffering tragic losses, one after another.

Back at Fire Island, Melody was in a tough situation. She had only 3 Pokemon left to Giovanni’s three. The six-on-three battle was all in Giovanni’s favor. Would Melody die?

“You WURMPLE! You will never see your love again! Ma ha ho!”

“No way! I am NOT giving up! Umbreon, Faint Attack!”

“Nidoking, Focus Punch! Maintain your focus! Then dodge as soon as Umbreon attacks!” Giovanni yelled, enraged.

Nidoking focused and meditated. As Umbreon approached Nidoking, it telepathically [It can learn Psychic...so...], with his focus still maintained, dodged the attack. It crashed into the ground, opened his eyes and WHAM! A gigantic punch the size of a Snorlax was fired and Umbreon was sent flying. It collided into Melody and fainted. THUD!

“Um………” Umbreon moaned.

“Return! Oh, Ash. I’m trying my hardest!” Melody said sadly.

“Melody…where’s Misty?” May asked.

“Huh? I don’t know. I thought you knew.”

“SHUT UP!” Giovanni shouted, cocking his gun. “I’m just going easy on you. I could’ve killed you right from the start!”

“Espeon! Go!” Melody shouted with tons of confidence.

“Nidoking, Horn Drill!”

Nidoking ran towards Espeon at full speeds and his horn became a huge drill, killing Espeon in one shot. It moaned and collided with the floor. Five down, one to go.

“I…I surrender…you win, Giovanni.”

“Fall off! I order you! Or you’ll be shot!” Giovanni commanded, pistol in hand. “DO AS I SAY!”

Melody jumped on top of Giovanni and pounded him hard. He quickly recuperated and fired his pistol. Melody was hurt in the left shoulder and started bleeding. Giovanni smirked and walked off, a bomb remote in hand, along with his pistol in the other.

May ran to the shoreline and saw that there was no motorboat. She gritted her teeth, Melody atop her shoulder, being carried. She dropped Melody and took out the shell instrument. She started to play the song of Lugia, when all of a sudden; a piece of tape was strapped across her and Melody’s mouth.

To be continued…
